OH! And now for something completely different... Genesis Mining is full of announcements lately.

In case you haven't noticed, let me refresh the memory:

1) Why not add a revenue reinvestment program?
1) This is definitely something we plan to offer soon.

We are currently working extensively on a new  structure for our clients which will give our new and also our old devoted customers more flexibility.

We currently have a lot of new features in the pipeline we are eager to announce! Stay tuned for the upcoming times. It will be great!

Got it?! Something's up.
Something Soon.
Something Flexible.
Something Featuresque.
Something Tuned.
Something Great.

In short: something BIG. But what...

Since it's for new and old devoted customers, I bet old-not-so-devoted customers will be digitalized and turned into extra hashrate at login, which will provide everybody with more revenue without a need for reinvestment! Ghosts in the mining machine, the ultimate ectoplasmic power boost.

Or something more down to earth?

Think I've said it before, but Genesis Mining is not like most other providers. That also applies to their payment routines. Sometimes they take a bit longer (extra checks and verification and who knows what...), but they still haven't missed a payment. Just be a bit more patient.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: September 16, 2014, 03:19:01 PM
thank you my friend today receives 256 doge or 0.08 USD
seems to require a very long time to get 35 USD
I will update my payment tomorrow, maybe today I have not been up mining tool
Never look at the first payment. And then wait for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th payment to get an idea Tongue
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: September 16, 2014, 09:38:35 AM
From the FAQ @ genesis-mining.com:
"As of September 2014, we provide: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Darkcoin, Reddcoin, Blackcoin, Feathercoin, Auroracoin, Lottocoin and Megacoin."

Expect more coins to follow (GMCoin? MegaMikeCoin?)

Why is Genesis so much better that other cloudminers?

You're promoting Genesis Mining, so, you should be telling us Wink

148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: September 15, 2014, 09:12:37 PM
Last payment received at 13th....
What is wrong? My id is bMxlDH

Hey Holdaaja,

You should have received your next payout by now. If not, please contact the support directly. This is really important for us and we can guarantee that there is not a single user where we missed one day of payout so far.

Security still has highest priority for us and therefor we keep on doing our double check routine to be safe that everything is working fine and the payouts are correct.

Thank you!

Got it Smiley

If you mine Dogecoin and you have set a wallet address, then you will receive the mined coins on that address automatically every day
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: September 15, 2014, 09:39:22 AM
Don't expect a fixed time, varthshenon. They run a lot of checks also, so sometimes it takes longer then other days. In the past months they haven't missed a day though.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: September 14, 2014, 02:09:05 PM
There seems to be confusion and uncertainty about the fees.

Currently a fixed fee will be deducted from the mined coins with the Lifetime Contracts. Okay, but as we all know difficulty is not a nice thing, so sooner or later the amount of coins may not be sufficient to pay the fee. According to the contract, in such a case Genesis Mining may deduct a missed fee from later earnings. If that happens once then it's not quite a disaster, but what happens if the fee is structurally higher then the mined coins? Will the fees be lowered? Will the hashrate be set higher? Will GM keep on demanding fee money until the customer is in debt for life? Will the "life time" contract end? Anything else perhaps?

Can Genesis Mining make this subject a bit more clear, please?

Okay, I got a message from someone who couldn't post telling me (thank you!) the Terms have been changed a bit. An addition was made to make sure you don't dry up completely on an endless amount of fees:
"The Service Provider may terminate this Agreement with immediate effect if the Coins generated in the preceding 20 days do not suffice to pay the Fee under 2.b above."
If that makes you want to complain about Lifetime Contracts not being Lifetime, two things: 1, there's only thing in the entire universe that lasts a lifetime, and that's you. 2, Don't underestimate Genesis Mining, they have proven to be able to adapt to changing conditions, and they've proven to listen to their customers, so expect them to listen when things get rough

They have been paying consistently since... well, a while ago, Mr. Takada. Support has never let me down. It can take a few hours sometimes, but they are people, not machines. And I don't care really. Most of my issues are not urgent Smiley

As always, no matter how trustworthy any service is, rule #1: invest only what you can do without, and never invest anything you can't miss.
153  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: September 13, 2014, 11:54:06 PM
Well, I'm certainly interested in Notification, for price changes and for hashrate changes, VJain. I know, if I buy hashrate, the total amount changes so stupid me should know that and not rely on an app to tell me what I just did. But... if I receive referral hashrate then I know it when I log in to my account, so I'd like to be notified also if my hashrate goes up (did it ever go down for someone?!). Do you think it's possible to show such added hashrate? Something to consider, sometimes hashrate changes multiple times per day

I think I donated, but if I see what you got in total then I'm thinking about doing it again to be certain I did Smiley
Oh. you can make it a bit easier, I think, by putting a BTC address in your signature

Where do you see the 0.0017? I'm seeing 0019, even after shift+F5'ing vigorously   Cheesy
156  Economy / Services / Re: PB Mining -- 5 year mining contracts! on: September 13, 2014, 02:31:47 PM
I hope a lot below 0.0025, but we'll see. There's another difficulty adjustment (around 9%) later today. And payday tomorrow. Changing price before the payout would be nice  Cool
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: September 13, 2014, 02:16:25 PM
You can return BTC to your wallet, but you can also choose a specific coin.
If you mine Megacoin then you will receive Megacoin.
If you choose Litecoin then you will receive Litecoin.
If you choose BTC(Auto) then you will receive Bitcoin.
Do you understand?

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hosted Scrypt hashpower provider! on: September 13, 2014, 11:37:09 AM
I can only count in Megacoins, and I can tell you that 1 MHs returns roughly around 7 Megacoin per day. Can't help you with numbers for other coins.

I also have SHA hashrate, but since two days/payments only, so I don't have good numbers yet.

Changing price to 0.0019 GH/s just before or during an Out of Stock situation is evil  Grin
160  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's first large scale multi-algo cloudmining company on: September 13, 2014, 10:02:56 AM
Big enough to mention, Daniel. A lot of people expect things now, immediate, pronto, not a second to waste! So, any delay should be mentioned so people don't start worrying for no reason other then success Smiley

miaviator, the TOS may not be clear, but whatever liability you have, no one will ask you to keep up the website literally or any such thing. I'm sure you can't even change a single character on their web pages, or enter any datacenter. And if you can, please notify GM asap Cheesy
I think elrugrim is right and the fee covers any liability you may have. If you still worry, I've been with GM for like half a year now, and they've never requested me to reboot the webserver or flip the powerswitch of some miner. The only thing you have to do is buy hashrate, and in the case of SHA hashrate sit back and wait for returns, or in the case of Scrypt hashrate allocate the hashrate to the coin or coins of your choice and then sit back and wait for returns (oh, and enter a wallet where the mined coins must be send to)
