141  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is banned by the government on: January 26, 2018, 09:07:56 PM
Well, at present bitcoin it's not really banned in any country: don forget, bitcoin actually are just some points in a strange internet videogame!
What governments can do is to make very difficult to exchange these point with fiat money.
But it will be harder than they think
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: January 26, 2018, 09:04:12 PM
In Satoshi intentions, bitcoin should be a path to freedom, a way to escape from the slavery of bank and governments, a way to a better world.
May be I'm too idealistic, but I like to believe that this achievement is possible.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you start from zero cash and make a living with the opportunities in crypto? on: January 26, 2018, 09:01:13 PM
Of course you can, but if you are really with zero cash you can't start to trade.
So, the best way is to choose a signature campaign - as I'm doing just now - and start to promote it.
In short time you'll have enough cash to start your career as trader!
144  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not just print dollars? on: January 26, 2018, 08:58:17 PM
When I see this kind of questions, I understand why it is so easy for politicians to deceive the citizens.
I think it's should be our duty - in the meanwhile we are promoting bitcoin - to take any occasion to explain the basics of the economy.
In our own interest.
145  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to launch a project? on: January 26, 2018, 08:53:53 PM
Are you serious?
This is an ambitious goal, and I hope you will succeed.
Btw, take a look of a successful project, you can find some just here.
Then look at their site, their staff, their structure, at all the things you'll need.
And then, start to put on paper a to do list.
Good luck!
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: January 26, 2018, 08:49:20 PM
Well, I just wonder... from the beginning of the civilization, there were people that periodically announced the end of the world.
They have all a thing in common: they were all wrong!
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Bankers are killing the cryptocurrency market on: January 26, 2018, 08:46:42 PM
I don't think they really want to kill the cryptomarket: they only want to profit of it and to keep the control.
I suspect that very soon any bank will have its own currency, and will try to convince its client that it's better than bitcoin.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC of bounty hunters on: January 26, 2018, 12:17:43 AM
Like it or not, the far west of crypto currencies will go to an end (not so fast...), and the first step is to identify the players.
Please note that this is not always an initiative of the ICO company, but of the government in which ICO is (and dont' forget that in some contries ICOs are forbidden).
So, we have to expect more and more control on the whole system.
This would be bad for scammers, but good for normal people.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: January 26, 2018, 12:10:54 AM
Anything can be hacked, by definition, but the MEW structure is so solid that this possibility is very remote.
Instead, it's very possible that your computer will be hacked (may be already is and you don't know) and someone will stole your private key.
Or you don't put attention and you enter in a phishing site.

It seems to me that with a little attention myetherwallet is the best choice.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not just print dollars? on: January 25, 2018, 11:48:05 PM
Well, this kind of questions make me smile, but make me also to realize how little the average guy knows about economy (and I suspect that at least 80% of people would agree that to print more money could be a good idea...)
There is no sense to give an answer, moreover that other people have already explained what the problem would be..
But really, I think that school should be implement at least a basic economics course from the first year of learning.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: January 25, 2018, 11:38:33 PM
I think that there is a part of human mind that like to hear catastrophic prediction: from biblical prophets to Nostradamus to the ecologists, when you predict disasters you always will find people that will listen to you.

Actually, there is no real sign of an imminent crash; oc course there will be fluctuation, of course some cryptocurrencies will die and some companies will fail...
But in the big scheme of things these are only normal fluctuations.
So, focus on your strategy and don't' listen to these prophets of doom.
152  Economy / Economics / Re: Tulip Mania on: January 25, 2018, 11:22:58 PM
You can say that something is a bubble - or a tulip mania - only after its explosion.
At present, even after the recent correction, bitcoin is still something that made more than a 1000% growth in a year.
Of course, tomorrow it could be zero (but this is true for every currency), but for now it's the best investment of all time.
(If you bought it in the past, of course...)
153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how risky is day trading? on: January 25, 2018, 11:12:47 PM
It's a meaningless question, because it's the same as to ask "how risky is to drive a car".

If you are an experienced driver and you put your attention on driving, usually it's very safe (even if an accident is always possible)
If you don't know how to drive, or you drive in a senseless way, the chance you will crash somewhere become very high.

In trading it's the same: there are plenty of people that make a good life only with trading, and the risk it's acceptable.
But if you take trading as gamble, you can bet (!) that the results will be the same as in Vegas.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: France declares war on the cryptocurrencies on: January 25, 2018, 10:54:08 PM
Well, not only France, but a lot of countries are studying measure to control bitcoin.
Actually, what a single country does it wont affect too much the price, because investors know that there is no way to stop bitcoin acting locally.
Instead, if a common decision will be taken on global scale,... well, this will be very bad for bitcoin and all cryptocurrencies.

But, knowing how difficult is usually for them to find a global agreement even for trivial things, I this we can sleep peacefully :-)
155  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is useless on: January 25, 2018, 10:46:36 PM
What you say it's true, but at present bitcoin is used much more as an asset that as a real currency, and of course investors are making a bet on the bitcoin.
A bet not on the actual bitcoin situation - with all the problems you are pointing out - on a future situation where all these issues will be solved.
May be they are wrong, but it's unfair to say they are "fooled".
We'll see.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: January 25, 2018, 10:36:11 PM
There is a big number of things to consider, and - out of the advice you received here - you can find everywhere a lot business plan templates that will help you to start in the right way.

From my part, as a seasoned serial entrepreneur, I want to give you just ONE advice: Don't try to create a market for your product!!!! I tried a lot of time and every time I failed, because - even if it could be possible - is so expensive that advertising will eat all your potential profit before you start.

Instead, find an existing group of hungry buyers and create the right product for them. When I made this shift, my business life changed completely.
157  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: January 25, 2018, 10:27:28 PM
I'm just trying to figure out the real effects of the new system, I'm not so sure if the results will be a real improvement of the posts (for me it will be, because I'll try from now to write better posts), but at least this will stop a little the invasion of meaningless posts written by illiterates.

However, I can't understand exactly the idea of a "finite number" of sMerits, out of the part that will be "mined" monthly.
This means that sMerit are a kind of currency, but in the same time if you don't use them, they will disappear...
I don't know, may be I'm not so smart but there is something that I can't grasp.
I'll keep reading your posts.

Very, very interesting: the bounty manager uses a newbie account!!!!!!!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1248790

There is no mistake, he simply didn't actualize the spreadsheet in the last week, so may be he found a way to steal our work.

I can't believe it's lazyness, it look a deliberate scam, so it's useless to write to him or to give him bad notes.

I'll start to write to all the team, they probably have no idea of what happens:

https://www.envion.org/en/team/

There is names, adresses, linkedin, they are german, and work in Swisse, I don't think they'll tolerate a so dishonest  behaviour and a so bad publicity for their company (we are thousends, if the situation won't solve all crypto world will know).

Sprea the info, anyone who has been scammed must start write to the staff.

We'll see.

Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you're kidding about "final calculation" in spreadsheet!
You credit me with 35 posts, when actually they are - as you can easily verify - 93!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please confirm - to me and to other questioning people -  what are you doing!
If you need more time, it's ok. If it's final... mmm...  well, I'll wait for an answer.
