Hi,
ich bin auf der Suche nach BF4 Keys. Am liebsten die Originalkarten per Post. Suche größere Menge an Keys, zahle in LTC, BTC oder Doge zum Tageskurs. Preis verhandlungsache. Am besten per PN

just got my first 270 sapphire dual-x going today, not finetuned yet, but it draws around 160W and i have it hashing at ~460kH it could be that in a dedicated setup/rig with good spacing and risers, that 270 is a good choice (but keep in mind the added price for risers) right now it is slightly more efficient than my 290s have a look at this rough calc (just a screenshot), euro prices, some in german (sry), and powerdraw is hidden in the formulas, but this is how I am deciding... ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs1.postimg.org%2Fed6hzei8f%2Fcard_comparison.png&t=663&c=W8F_ufh6Rm4JyA)

since my cards are slot by slot on the board without risers, there is no way I can improve cooling (unless I put them outside ;-) ) ambient temperature is nd 16°C right now and the GPUS are all around/below 80°C

no, I won't push the cards above 1020Mhz, they are hot anyways and will draw another 50-100W if I do that, no way to undervolt them, they might even need overvolting... where is the sense in that?
also i get best results at 1500Mhz memory.

how do you pull 943kH?
elpdia cards are around 1005 clocked (few more or less to get the peak), hynix around 1015
i have them right on the board, so air cooling is limited, and close to the max ;-) pwer draw with kill-a-watt enermax platimax 1500 i use afterburner to set all undervolts manually, have tried them on a testbench for some time. very individual, not too much to gain) :-(
its on a board/cpu that draws around 60-70W at the wall =>1350-70W to 1500-65W => 1280 to 1435W divided by 4 GPUs -> 320 to ~360W, minus around 10% for PSU efficiency so 290 - 325W (of course there may be individual differences between cards...)

i am interested.
does your offer stand?
PS. is that the AMD code to redeem an Origin download code?

just some updates:
I tried 280x, 290 and going for 270 now..
290s/quad-aircooled have a quad 290 in a raven rv03 air cooled... it gets hot, but it works (but I would say close to the limit). heat really increased power draw. in windows (with every card maxed to 895-905kH and reduced voltage as much as stability allows) the rig draws 1350W (1320-1400W) and over 1500 when not undervolted.
so for now I keep that one on windows ;-)
280x best efficiency so far is with a 280x (sapphire toxic) at 757kH (1089Mhz, rest is standard 280x settings). i undervolted it (kinda tricky, as it comes stock at 1100 clocks and high voltage (power draw monster!!!). undervolted it draws ~220W (card alone), which is around the best kh/watt I have seen on the net!
270s i am going to try some 270s now, the idea is to squeeze them between 290s to get airflow/temps a little bit more under control, and also running more efficient (also moneywise) maybe on smaller PSUs. btw. 1500W Enermax Platimax is just great!
anybody running a quad 270/270x setup? or has anybody modded/undervolted 270s for best hash/watt?

PM me an offer and I will tell you if it is any good ;-)

trade went through, except from some delay from my side (had to resync some part of the blockchain and it got stuck right before my transactions got confirmed; it took forever and drove me nuts)
I currently have another 45,000 Doges "in stock".

try checkdisk on the drive
i have that problem with my USB/SD cards from time to time...
Warning: keep in mind, that it might break the whole blockchain, and might make you redownload everything!

g'day
Now I know the theory of not mixng cards, but at the time of purchase I wasn't aware of this or didn't think it was a problem. I'm running a 280X (aka 7970) and 7950 in the same rig, i thought I'd be fine as its of the same series in a way (?) - 7900 series.
Anyway I'm finding the 7950 hashes better than the 280X with neither exceeding 550khsec. I've tried everything from playing with threads, tc, powertune, running two seperate instances of cgminer with it running 1 and then 2 threads with one of the cards disabled in one of the instances but enabled in other, tried underclocking, overclocking, drivers, sdks and bios flashing. Unfortunately nothing works.
Can someone knowledgeable explain why the cards seemed capped? Is cgminer running the PCIe bus at a speed of the slowest card? Thus the capping and why the 7950 hashes the best even tho its the slower card? Or is it something else?
Has anyone managed to run a 7950 & 7970/280X side by side and get 600khsec+ for the 7950 and 700khsec+ for the 7970/280x? If I remove either card I go up to the famed 600 or 700 khsec. So something (cgminer?) is holding them back.
Fwiw I have more system ram than vram 8gb vs 6gb and run the setx commands...I guess I'm sh&t out of luck but if someone can give me an explaination or maybe resolve it, that would be much appreciated.
Should I run reaper for the 7950 and cgminer for the 280x? That said two seperate instances of cgminer with different thread options don't fix my bottleneck.
NB: Using cgminer v3.5.1 coz of the pool "bug" where it doesn't change back in later versions. In anycase the latest version and las to support gpus is 3.7.2 which has the same bottleneck issue. I run win7 64bit for the voltage control msi afterburner/trixx. I've found even tho cgminer sets the volts it doesn't, unlike trixx/msi ab. Values are checked with gpuz and hwinfo.
i recommend that you turn to the 280x thread in the litecoin forum, there are good tuning discussions going on...

there is no need for dummy plugs! unless you have messed up your win/settings/driver, and deactivated powersave, all current cards run fine without dummy plugs!!

Hi,
I have a 280x and a 290 in my clean setup system. I finetuned them individually and now tried to setup 2 cgminer instances (in seperate folders) and with --device 0/1 --remove-disabled
unfortunateley the driver crashes seconds after i run cgminer for a second GPU
current results: if I lower tc on on of the cards to an absolute minimum (hashrate ist flatlining), driver crashes "later"...
any clue on what could cause this?
I also noticed that -auto-fan with two instances runs into trouble... (makes one card/fan spin up and down, like a whine constantly)
somehow the two instances don't run completely seperate... (is that possible?)
any hint on how to debug this?

Hi,
I understand that scrypt/GPU mining support was removed from cgminer. Still I think this would be the best place/resource to help me in understanding the following.
using cgminer 3.7.2 some people experience the following error " error -4: enqueueing kernel onto command queue "
what exactly does it mean?
Mining on R9 290 hardware people have noticed, that higher TC values can cause this; also using less than 8GB RAM can cause this.
Any insight what this error means exactly?
could anybody shed some light, what this " error -4: enqueueing kernel onto command queue " means in detail?

that version of cgminer does not support GUI mining anymore... ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) don't you read anything on this forum?
