141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN vs ETH ? Your thoughts? on: February 27, 2018, 08:24:23 PM
Both are great, I choose to choose ETH because I am able to collect more for the price. If I was at the inception of Bitcoin I am sure it would be different.

I would look at this article, it is a great starting point on how to earn crypto.

143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeepOnion and Crowdholding on: February 27, 2018, 08:06:20 PM
Great deal for both coins, I am glad to see two great coins combining their communities. It is the only way to grow the ecosystem.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deep Onion is going to be on Crowdholding on: February 27, 2018, 08:04:47 PM
Great deal for both, I am glad to see two great coins combining their communities.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone heard about Sooloox? on: February 27, 2018, 08:03:31 PM
Here is Sooloox's Announcement thread here:- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3031489.0

I like the look of their product, now they just need to build a community like Crowdholding.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success? on: February 01, 2018, 03:08:28 PM
I think its a plus for sure as it shows a big strong community, but I wouldn't invest solely on the amount of people in their telegram. Remember bounty campaigns usually include a section for joining their telegram.

But if an ICO has 1,000s of users on their telegram before the launch of their pre-sale, I am a little impressive with their marketing and community building.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My opinion about ETH on: February 01, 2018, 03:05:52 PM
I think ETH will continue to grow but I don't think it will get close to Bitcoin just yet, although Bitcoin price has dropped a lot recently, more than halved since December when it hit it's heights.

Still you are expecting a 900% increase to even catch Bitcoin not overtake, and that is if Bitcoin stays the same price.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you tend to invest in an ICO on: February 01, 2018, 02:51:47 PM
Currently I invest round 0.5 ETH as I am a little side investor.

I think it is a mistake to claim this poll in Bitcoin, I don't see many people investing more than a Bitcoin (Around 9k now)
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No Facebook Instagram No Cry on: February 01, 2018, 02:48:06 PM
I am shocked that Facebook has done this, not like Facebook to grow a moral backbone when it's for easy cash for Facebook. Clearly this is just a PR tactic as they want to be seen as looking after their users, especially after ex Facebook employees saying it is bad for people and the Russian / fake news scandal.

I will expect twitter to follow suit as well. Also this is just a ban on ads, not people sharing through bounty campaigns and groups, so it means ICOs will push more on this now which means bounty hunters will get more as they will be more important.

151  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system is not working, failed! on: February 01, 2018, 02:20:18 PM
I get what they are trying to do, but I don't like the fact that because I am a newer user, I have a zero score, where accounts that are older already start with 100. I feel that's not really fair, We should all start on the same level and then the great replies will get more merit, and the spammers and poor replies won't receive anything.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do You looking for in ICO? on: February 01, 2018, 01:52:53 PM
There is a lot of things to look into such as:-

The coin - is it needed? why are they creating one?

The team - Is it strong in all areas? Good advisors?

The product - MVP? or just a white paper? If only a white paper, does it make sense?

The hype - Good marketing? Strong social media and a good community behind it?

Also I ask questions a lot on their threads, that's what they are for!
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook bans cryptocurrency ads.. on: February 01, 2018, 01:48:46 PM
Just a PR marketing ploy after a lot of stuff has come out about Facebook being bad for our children and society and the whole Russian / Trump thing. Whether you believe the stories or not, it looks bad for Facebook.

I think it's wrong to start censoring certain things like ICOs.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethurum or ripple on: February 01, 2018, 01:46:55 PM
Personally I prefer Ripple over ETH, I think it depends on what you are doing with the cryptocurrency and also personal opinion. Both are good cryptocurrencies and I don't really see the point of comparing them, same as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instagram bans ICO and crypto ads on: February 01, 2018, 09:43:17 AM
Doesn't surprise me as Facebook owns Instagram and so it was just a matter of time. I have shocked honestly, not like Facebook to grow a moral backbone when it comes to making some cash. Clearly this is just PR after the Russian issue.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best / safest wallet for storing ETH on: February 01, 2018, 09:31:33 AM
I think the best option is mew and a hard wallet, I have a ledger and I have no complaints.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest ICO's of 2018 on: January 08, 2018, 08:04:56 PM
I am liking Crowdholding, It is a really interesting project that I am excited about to have invested into.

They are a co-creation platform and have a working beta since April with over 2,000 users. Already at 87% towards their hard cap and agreed to go onto an exchange at the end of the ICO.

I think these guys will be big and will go far. I see them being a reddit / product hunt hybrid where you get cryptocurrency for co-creating with innovative startups.

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you picky with ICOs? on: January 08, 2018, 07:46:09 PM
Yes there are so many ICO's out there that you can now choose to be picky because you have so much choice.

When I am researching an ICO, if I find any bad signs I simply move onto the next one.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Suggestions on: January 08, 2018, 07:45:15 PM
Can see it has been mentioned a few times but I am really excited about Crowdholding. I think these guys are going to go far.
