what's new or fixed in this update? Error in calculating diff of alt-alt chains, finally traced and fixed. So, if there was a mistake, someone went wrong with the money or coins? Chain forks have happened to a lot of newer coins with low hashrates. Essentially one set of miners could accidentally "get ahead" of the official chain which incorrectly makes the new chain "correct" to them. So, yes people mining the incorrect "new chain" that was created had wasted their time mining on an incorrect block chain. Any coins that were bought (from the exchange) or transferred were logged on the correct chain and nothing was lost. No more chain splits/forks on DERO blockchain. Many improvements in newer code. |

Where I can find Dero Wallet for Mac OS? and do you have any specific advise reagarding withdrawal from Exchange to my Wallet? Does it standard proccess?

DERO: Privacy + Smart Contracts The CryptoNote protocol implementation in golang is now complete and in closed alpha testing. The Q1 roadmap is on track to meet or exceed its goals.That's great news. How the closed testing is progressing? Do you have a prediction when testing goes to a wider audience? It is really interesting to see a major change in a cryptonote protocol. Most existing coins suffer from the same issues with block chain, so seeing a completely new implementation may force other coins to adopt to a new standard. There would be release of complete working CryptoNote Golang implementation in next 4-6 days for users interested for testing. These users would be evaluating Golang derod and wallet for 7-10 days and based on their feedback whole DERO community would be migrating to new DERO chain. Community has to just download new derod daemon and import wallet with old wallet seed for migration. Hopeful of smooth transition. I want to preface this post by saying that I am supportive of Dero and its aims and I want it to succeed. Indeed this post is motivated by a desire to see it succeed. Hence the following comments and criticisms, based on my reading of the white paper, in no particular order.

There too much vision and idea behind DERO that several books can be written on the subject, But we are focused more on the practical technological aspect of DERO atm, as we believe some working DEMO/Example would be more helpful in expressing the general idea than mere words. |

CryptoNote Protocol is the base and Monero was chosen, so tail emissions etc. as per existing Monero may be changed in future, already discussed.
Dig this thread more most of the answers like selection of Golang etc. are answered already several times.
There are no shortcuts in DERO, At present we are working on CryptoNote Protocol Golang implementation.
Not interested in increasing team size with JavaScript developers and graphic editors. This is hardcore crypto.
DERO recruitments and selection standards are very high, Anyone who has published/worked in Cryptography before 2010 and interested more, pls contact.

How many dev's are currently in DERO? Here in forum we have CaptDero and Serena, are there more? how many in the team?
There are three core developers, Serena and few Senior well wishers. Few developers have wished to join the project and will hire/contract them with company or so. Normal users may not need it but Exchanges/high transfer vendors etc. require it.
