141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin price chart (What is next?) on: March 27, 2018, 03:01:10 PM
I know there has been a lot of fud and panic recently in crypto markets, for this reason I would like to share bitcoin price chart during the time (source coinmarketcap) where it's obvious that Bitcoin price has been growing steadily with major drops in prices right after the major bounces and growths. I'm absolutely sure it will be the case again as it's been proven in time that always after Bitcoin drops, it grows even more. Don't take my word for it, check the following chart:

A truly decentralizes way of exchanging digital assets with on chain atonomic exchange and providing the independence of intermediaries and cenralized entities. Botcoin Atom will globalize because of this exchange that will be needed in the future.

it's Bitcoin Atom not Botcoin Atom Cheesy never mind, you're right about the atomic swaps, I can't wait for the moment that feature is already fully functional as exchanges have given me pretty hard times lately
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your involvment in crypto world? on: March 25, 2018, 01:08:34 PM
I actively work for some crypto projects, that would take majority of my days. Then I also invest in certain coins and tokens and participate in bounty campaigns that make sense to me.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready for music on: March 25, 2018, 01:07:03 PM
what are you mean with this post  Huh

he's just trying to shill that project by posting about it on bitcointalk. Don't you worry about it, it happens all the time. Just don't fall for this apparent worthless promo
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple co-founder FUDs Ripple on: March 25, 2018, 01:05:58 PM
Jed McCaleb, co-founder of Ripple, seems to want to set lower expectations for Ripple as he comes out to say that decentralisation is important in the success of a cryptocurrency. That would seem like a strange statement from him because Ripple is not decentralised. Perhaps he knows something that has yet to be announced yet? After all, he even says that Ripple will be competing against SWIFT and PayPal, both of whom are well established.

He then tries to play up the chances of Stellar, but unfortunately most of the attention will be on his comments towards Ripple.

https://www.cryptoinfomag.com/2018/03/25/ripple-co-founder-says-ripple-is-missing-a-critical-success-factor/

we have known for long that ripple is centralized currency, it's not a surprise. Coming it from month of McCaleb is surprising though, I guess he simply has some other projects to focus on

But as I read, Coinomi supports bitcoin atom only if you are in developer mode, because I can not find in my Coinomi (mobile wallet) Bitcoin Atom depositing address.

That is not correct. BCA is already available in regular Coinomi wallet, not only in developer version. Just download the wallet from their official website https://coinomi.com and add BCA in your wallet

Bitcoin Atom welcomes two new exchanges, Octaex and Exrates

https://medium.com/@bitcoinatom/buy-sell-and-trade-bitcoin-atom-823038d82cec

well done. I would still prefer to see some major exchanges to add Bitcoin Atom as this is the first time I'm hearing about Octaex and exrates is very shady exchange either. Keep working guys, good luck with new listings Smiley

Just out of curiosity I was searching price of BCA in changed market conditions. It really surprised me with its performance that there is no significant downtrend and change in its value. Its price are almost at the same level where I was watching most of the time for days now.

you can't deposit...

you can deposit on exrates and https://octaex.com, there is a proper BCA spot trading, not only futures like on Yobit. Seems the community is getting rid of early dumpers there

150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John Oliver 'You’re not investing, you’re gambling' on: March 15, 2018, 08:15:53 AM
The comic John Oliver in his show talks a lot about cryptocurrency and bitcoin in particular (https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2018/mar/12/john-oliver-last-week-tonight-cryptocurrency). He claimed that people don`t understand what bitcoin is. He also characterized bitcoin as a combination of what people do not understand in money and computers. Do you think he's right or not? Is bitcoin just a game for the majority of people? Is it true that we are beginning to be interested in crypto currency only looking at others and we have a "herd instinct"? Or people really see in bitcoin something more than just a tool for gambling?

speaking of general public, he was spot on Cheesy majority of people on this forum don't even know what is private key and other bitcoin 101 but are trying to make as much money as possible. well good luck
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic or to be calm on: March 15, 2018, 08:12:47 AM
the more days the bitcoin price slumps down, how do you think, whether the price will stabilize or it will keep falling down ,, seems like I'm getting scared Angry

if you think any decision made in panic is right, well then good luck. If you have invested in bitcoin you have probably believed in the tech and its future. Now because of price drop it changes?
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin?? on: March 15, 2018, 08:11:44 AM
What is best according to you? Bitcoin or Altcoin?

i am sure you can understand there is no such a thing as the best. Also it's not altcoin vs bitcoin comic story. and altcoin is not one currency yet perhaps thousands of different cryptos...
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: March 13, 2018, 09:38:17 AM
Same boat as everyone else.  Have a shit ton of BCA mined and no where to sell.   I've mined mine on the multipool and thought heck, i'll setup my own.

man you better wait for atomic swaps gui toolkit. It's something I'm waiting for either. once that is launched, you will like like bitcoin pizza selling at this stage. best thing is that it should be within a month or so
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Expected etherium prices by the end of 2018 on: March 12, 2018, 08:25:42 AM
Will Ethereum reach $ 2000 by the end of 2018?
And with the current market turbulence, what should I invest in?

I don't think it would be $2000. We could be looking at $1500 I believe as this year as rather a consolidation year but when the uptrend starts the chance is there to reach some new heights.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoins? Which is safer or more profitable? on: March 12, 2018, 08:24:40 AM
Hello family, I need to take an informed decision on this issue

With the present challenges with the blockchain technology and its present congestion ,

Is it still safe, wise and as profitable as before to start a fresh bitcoin investment?

I'm thinking that investing in a number of the other several altcoins might be much better

Pls I need your thoughts and opinions on this....thanks

Bitcoin has the tendency to be the most stable coin from all crypto. So if you want to invest in crypto space and don't feel like going for a rollercoasters like the other alts, bitcoin is a good choice
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: March 09, 2018, 11:40:58 AM

seems like some community effort to trade BCA, not necessarily a scam. Is there anyone who tried this service successfully? if yes it could be interesting for some BCA miners.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best altcoin for you? on: March 06, 2018, 05:17:22 PM

159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: March 02, 2018, 11:25:36 AM
It's been over a month... when do yobit wallets open up?

not yet. Yobit don't have wallets open for any of the forks so far. They just list the futures and then they are probably waiting how the fork turns out and keep adding different coins instead...
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: March 01, 2018, 06:47:34 PM
the Auto Swap is real or fake in BCA? how i can recognize that?

it's called Atomic Swaps and it's already available in BCA code but you won't be able to use that unless the GUI toolkit becomes available this month. Then you can try on your own
thanks!

Anytime Smiley
