142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi coins have turn the market into confusion on: August 21, 2020, 10:29:06 PM
Not a confusion for those who know what they are doing, DeFi is progressing but still unsafe for people who don't know how to do some research on new projects, I don't invest on projects that aren't well known or popular
Apart from do some research on projects in this DeFi ecosystem, greed level should be watched for. There are some DeFis lately without much to offer than spontaneous increase in price, x50, x100 etc. The old crypto users are still falling victim of DeFi scam mainly because of lack of discipline and greed.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Those initial exchange offering (IEO) reduce opportunities for bounty hunters? on: August 21, 2020, 10:20:50 PM
Will the current hype & acceptance of the initial exchange offering (IEO) over the erstwhile initial coin offering (ICO) affect the opportunities for bounty  hunters?

Can a project on initial exchange offering (IEO) still fail or exploit people?
It is not a matter of can a project on IEO still fail.
Over the period of IEO era, a number of projects that conducted IEO had failed while other pulled a exit scam.
A good number of IEO projects still conduct bounty campaign. I do not see any correlation between IEO and bounty activities.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is all about Hodling. on: August 21, 2020, 10:10:10 PM
Cryptocurrency is all about holding? Yes, it is, whether for short term or long term. The opposite side to this is trading. Holding the right crypto assets, for how long and knowing the right time to let go of your bag is important. In all, do not fall in love with any cryptocurrency. Take profit appropriately and wait to buy back the dip.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or there are others who have same thoughts? on: August 18, 2020, 03:54:19 PM
We can never tell. It goes both ways. It might be well planned tastics by the team to employ the bounty way, and it might just be the inevitable. Either way, dump is constant in crypto. How the team and the community respond to the situation is what matters provided the quality of the project.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: August 18, 2020, 03:45:15 PM
I remember when I first dabbled into crypto. I was led to this space by a ponzi scheme that required payment to be made in bitcoin. Unaware that there were other coins, I continued to deal with BTC which was still relatively cheap. It was monetary benefit at first, but after going deep, the technology, and the community itself; providing the platform to interact with other people from different parts of the world and share value ideas are still why I remain in crypto.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your favourite coin and token ? on: August 18, 2020, 03:34:58 PM
SNX and LEND are my two favourite coins. I have been holding this two since they airdropped for people, and then, I bought additional. On this two, I broke one of my crypto principles which is never to fall in love with any cryptocurrency. OKS is still much fresh in the space and the probability of adding it to favourites is high. This is the era of DeFi and am holding this three until further notice.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Gas transactions price is about to hit 300 on: August 16, 2020, 10:56:54 PM
i know its sound crazy but its really happend to ETH when i try to send my 0.01 eth to gambling website, im getting shock when see the ethereum gas price is about hitting 300 , currently if you want to get confirmed faster with ETH chain, you need to use 275 GWEI for your transactions is getting confirmated in 2 minute, tell me what are you gonna do with your ETH if you hold some, are you gonna sell and move to other altcoin like in 2017 when smartcontract are very popular with the kitty on ethereum chain?.

dont you think we are on same situations as 2017-2018 when the gas for eth is high people start move to litecoin & dogecoin which have small fee and the both coin getting very pump.
The situation is quite similar to what happened in 2017/2018 crypto year. However, unlike then, the network now have a better and possible solution to address the issue underway. The ETH 2.0 upgrade should tackle this current gas hike further improve the network. For moving of funds around, I use other blockchains with cheap transaction fee.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If someone mistakenly sent you 1 ETH, what would you do? on: August 16, 2020, 10:50:33 PM
Returning the 1 ETH is easier said than done. It takes a well disciplined and principled individual to return such fund. However, if one had ever been the one that made the mistake and really felt how it was to make such mistake with the hope of getting it back, I think good decision will become easy to make. But personally, I will return it. I had carelessly lost funds in the past. So, I know what the other person might be feeling.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Bad Exchanges on: August 16, 2020, 10:38:08 PM
I'm just trying to do my part, I know many won't care and some don't even bother to read anymore, they are just here for bounties, here is for those who cares about reading and learning.

Stay away from the following exchanges, I have bad experience with them already and I can still see few people getting caught in same trap

1. Vindax
2. Systemkoin
3. P2PB2B
4. Latoken

Not just for fake volumes and watched trade but scams, lose of funds, swapping of withdrawal addresses, you name it, have a great day
You might want to add Folgory to the list as well. Fake volume, bots trading each other, loss of funds and dead customer service. This exchange should avoided by all means.

153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Name really matter in crypto? on: August 15, 2020, 10:10:45 PM
Crypto name does not determine the success of a project, however, it is a factor that must not be joke with. In Branding, the image that a project wants its investors or customers to see lies in the value that is offered, the logo and of course, the name. Before a project or product connect properly to the right customers, the name must be simple and must relate or reveal the vision of the project to the outside world. A good name can say much about the project even before going through the whitepaper. Crypto name matters a lot and it is not only in crypto.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you use a paper wallet to store your CryptoCurrencies? on: August 15, 2020, 09:56:38 PM
I would definitely love to use paper wallet to store my crypto assets. I have been reading about this paper wallet, but never try to generate or own one. I think it is safer especially for long term storage due to its generating procedure which involves having no Internet access during the process. But for now, I stick to what I know best.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never give up on: August 15, 2020, 09:44:49 PM
I have experienced joining a bounty scam, not paying bounties even though tokens have been traded, reducing bounty allocations. but i don't care about it all, i keep joining the bounty as long as i can. because I believe in time I will meet a bounty that really pays and provides many benefits
This is exactly what motivates me to keep participating in bounties. The hope that just a single bounty might pay off for all the years of hard work. Anything is possible in crypto. No one knows which bounty will pay, either trading already or not.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: August 15, 2020, 01:03:53 AM
Instead of focusing on the time and probably the huge profit, why not focus on the project itself; the viability and the propensity to remain relevant in the future. I believe a lot of things influence people's decision to do as pleased with their crypto assets. However, long term holding of good coins can be the real gem.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Gas transactions price is about to hit 300 on: August 14, 2020, 09:33:20 PM
Gas fee is really driving me crazy now more than ever. I have lost a lot just because I tried to lower the gas fee because is too high for me. If things should continue this way, it might be very difficult for some of us to make transactions on Ethereum blockchain. I think it is better to use coins like tron  and doge for now.
Yes, best way to move funds around at the moment is through other coins; TRX, DOGE, XLM and LTC, pending the time gas fee on ETH is back to normal. I think for those forced to hold, it is paying off because of the surge in market price.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: August 14, 2020, 08:55:21 PM
Although you are right about everything but I still think there are altcoins worth sticking it and as well bagging. It is true that most altcoins are not worthy to hold for long because of the risks involved but I think coins like ETH is worth bagging. Nowadays once there is a movement in the market, as bitcoin takes the lead, Ethereum follows it closely before other altcoins like BNB joins as well, although the sequence can change but what is good to note is that, not only bitcoin makes a move nowadays. However, am not disputing the fact that holding Bitcoin is best but rather stating that other coins like ETH is worth the shot.
You made a valid point there. ETH, BNB, and hosts of other altcoins are worth giving a shot and hold for long term. The most important factor when holding bags of altcoins, hold the right ones; the tested and trusted with enormous potentials to grow and expand in the future.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Despite Many Participants, You Can Still Get Huge Rewards In Bounty. on: August 14, 2020, 08:42:09 PM
It's still possible to get good rewards from bounty Campaigns but the chances are getting slimmer, this year so far I've seen too low projects with good qualities and use cases, so far here are lists of best bounties

1. Cartesi
2. Oikos
3. Dia ( if they pay bounty hunters )
4. Hex
5. ARCS ( though too many participants joined )

Others are not up to standard, for me atleast.
I also saw the Injective protocol campaign, they have a 30k $ budget paid in ETH, but they are not limited to participants. So each person only gets a few dollars for the 6 weeks of work. If the bounty hunter wants to receive a good amount of money, they should opt for projects that limit the participants
You hit the nail on the head right there. Limit on number of participants seems to be favourable especially when the budget is not that robust. A clear example is DIA, and Oikos too had to apply limit after seeing huge sign ups. I think Bounty detective should consider this move as well considering how diluted rewards can be due to many participants.
