I'm a big fan of wafflepool, have been from start. Personally as a few others suggested I feel 1% to 2% is too much of a jump, a 100% fee increase is massive when the edges are already so thin between various mining pools. 1.5% be much more of a fair compromise I feel.
Since waffle opened the guy has prob made about 3 bucks an hour in labor put in. Now he actually wants to make some money and 2% is too much? Heh. Get real. Running a pool is a thankless job with every hacker out to get you and criminal ddos ready toruin all your work in seconds. And i am not even mentioning the clueless users who ask retarded questions over and over without using google for 10 minutes. It makes a pool op just want to say frick it and walk away. Agreed. Handle such a large pool as wafflepool is not that easy. |

Mother board: Gigabyte 970 a-ud3p
cpu: amd athlon II x2 270
Memory: 8gb
psu: evga 1000g2 supernova 80 gold
grafic card 1: GV-R929OC-4GD-GA
grafic card 2: GV-R928XOC-3GD
hdd: 2.5 sata 80 gb
But i can only get 859 kh/s with the 290 and get only 721 with the 280x
am i doing some thing wrong
i am using msi afterburner with this setings
grafic card 1 290: core 980 memory 1499
grafic car 2 280x: core 1049 memory 1500
i read that the 290 can get 890 kh/s and the 280x 760 kh/s what am i doing wrong i can't get more than the values i put above
Those speeds are good enough. You shouldn't push it so hard. |

I am here to ask you if exist some program to do CPU Scrypt mining (not the wallet that could mine) but some other program.
At work I have a PC that is h24 at work and I want use it to mine in a pool (but not using my wallet because I don't want that it is linked to my walletd)
Can I do something like it?

Mods don't remove scams, you have to read and find out yourself ( here my explanation). I notified Tomatocage too. Huh! It's not cool to misuse the trust system like that. What if everybody begin to do that? We all get the scam accusations already. Are you going to give negative trust to everyone who doesn't agree with you? Yes, seems like he misused the trust system. On feedback pages, you can leave trade feedback. There are no rules for this, but here are some guidelines:
- List all of the trades that you do with people (or at least the major ones). This is not like #bitcoin-otc where you give people just one score.
- Do not rate people based on the quality of their posts.

If 1250 btc are invested the ger per coin is over 300 satoshis. This sounds like a lot but Blackcoin had over 1k btc volume just yesterday. So you can see how this will snowball.
The only part I'm curious about is how an exchange would factor in this coin. Not including the built in one.
My theory: STD will be traded on an exchange between 2 rate: the GER (floor rate) and the rate at which the main exchange is selling coin (ceil rate). As there is a floor rate, no panic dump, nobody want to sell below the GER, strong buy support, more buyers than sellers. Price will go up until it breaks the ceils rate and create new floors. |
