I hope the team will review the bounty token distribution worth. If the bounty distribution is still worth $3 million without attaining the hardcap value. This could result in a big dump, cause it might take a good percentage of the whole fund which bounty hunters might sell off after distribution and exchange listing. Except few high earners token will be locked for a while.
3.1% of the total amount of tokens is allocated for bounty. This percentage is fixed and I think the team will pay the full amount to the bounty participants. I hope they will keep their word ! Most recent bounty decided to reduce the bounty pool by 50% and even sometime 90% like for exemple the Repux bounty. to keep the word, the team decided to open gamma-sale to sell the remaining tokens. I have seen other ICOs that extended sale timeframe by two months or so and nobody ranted. I wonder why there is so huge fuss about it. I understand that they need more money for their plans that are huge.
On the other hand I agree that they didn't manage it well and also there is absolutely no reason why to buy from gamma when there is opportunity to get it on idex for almost half of the price. Nevertheless this is only temporary until cowards that want to get out sell their bags at loss.
You are right, although there is one catch - If you purchase at least 5.4ETH worth of tokens from the Gamma sale, you get free mining kits. The point is that they didn't manage the situation very well. Wondering how a little decision can cause a lot of upturn in Crypto ecosystem. When they saw that they are not nearing the hard cap and they needed more money for development of the project, they could have announced extension of the tokensale event rather than listing the token and continued to perform another sale when they knew well that the private sale guys will just dump it in any decentralized exchanges for few profits. I strongly believe XYO will rise over this situation because it is a very good project with strong team and the required publicity. What they need to do now is to lock up tokens of high earning bounty hunters or delay payment of bounty until prize stabilizes a bit in a bid to salvage the situation. Yes, token sale has been ended they set a target of $48 million but they did not reach the hard cap but managed to reach $40 million. They closed the crowd sale and people could not able to purchase the coins anymore. The team did not raise the projected $48M during the main sale, although, it didn't go that badly, either, considering the cryptocurrency bear market. ~17,000 ETH worth of XYO had been sold by the end of the main sale; which by historical ETH Prices is $12,225,691.04; $10,000,000 came in the last 30 days of the main sale. |

If so, are these tokens created anew, or are they being pulled from the Cryptoeconomic Reserve? If they are being generated again, I would be very concerned. If they are a different token, same. The investment community here needs some clear answers from the leadership. This is the same token in both public sale (which just ended) and in the Gamma sale. The GAMMA tokens are sold from the allocated finite XYO token pool, all Unsold and Unallocated XYO Tokens will be burned. NO, if you wanted to answer my question, you could have said they are created anew. Because that is the fact. You "allocated" them to save them from getting burned, which, in substance, is the same as pulling them out of your cholo. You betrayed us. The GAMMA Platform sale allows the distribution of tokens (through the token pool) and development of the network to continue. The purpose of the XYO sale was to create a finite XYO Token Pool defined by the amount of ETH exchanged for XYO during the sale (basically allowing market to set the amount of XYO in the XYO Token Pool). And after the sale ends, all Unsold and Unallocated XYO Tokens will be burned. The remaining XYO after the sale creates the XYO Token Pool. |
