142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: September 07, 2018, 12:45:06 PM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

I think the world and the technology is ready. It is the people who are skeptical with bitcoin since this involves money. There has been so much fraud and pyramids scammed and other money matters but i can see that people participating in bitcoins are increasing. Meaning people believes in bitcoin.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change Your Mind About Bitcoin on: September 07, 2018, 12:13:26 PM
Many people express different types of bitcoin. Someone says Bitcoin is not a currency. Again someone says that Bitcoin is only a bubble, it will never be universally recognized. Some countries have banned Bitcoins so that illegal activities will not be increased in the country. Because some of time bitcoin use for terror works. Some people say that investment in bitcoin is not profitable. There are some other such complaints about Bitcoin.

But the funny thing is that even though there are so many complaints, Bitcoin has become popular all day around the world. I think we need to change our mind about bitcoin's. Cool

Really, people's complaints about Bitcoin are correct?

I am in bitcoin for quite sometime now and i can say that the value fluctuations, its volatility, the negative publicity never frustrates me. I think it is because i believe in the system and its contributions. It helps me not just financially but also provides easy access to payments.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we change the public's view of Crypto world? on: September 05, 2018, 01:20:47 PM
Guys we are very much aware how the crypto community through this great forum has helped most of us in terms of our finances but is so heartbreaking that the most of the public views only describes how insecure and unsafe the crypto community is. I do understand that cryptocurrencies are volatile and the issue of anonymity sometimes scares people away but y'all bear with me that if  crypto is explained to you and you really understand it properly you would not make wrong mistakes and get swayed away by panic sales or submit your private key as ethereum wallet address. Is it a public campaign or some other form of tutorial that we should organize to help explain crypto to the world because believe it or not the blockchain technology of cryptocurrencies is being admired by most organizations and some of them have decided to run their operations with the use of blockchain technology. What can we do as a community to help change the public view of Crypto?

I hope that there will be no more scammers and hackers that  would create bad publicity of bitcoins. fake news would also affect the image and people will fear to invest.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the most important thing makes you participate in bounty program? on: September 05, 2018, 09:17:48 AM
Why are you guys join the bounty campaign?
And what's the most critical thing makes you participate in the bounty program?
I'm interested in it, and I want to listen to your thoughts.

Participating in bounties helps me become more aware of the current events and information of bitcoin. It seems that i am on board on the daily happenings of the market and at the same time you are earning especially of your projects succeeds.

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies? on: September 05, 2018, 08:53:04 AM
I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.

Nope i will not gamblemy investments to celebrity endorsers. I am very keen in dealing investment that is why i do research and learn more about the systems. I usually read a lot of information regarding the projects that i am in.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is our money in crypto? on: September 02, 2018, 07:02:08 AM
Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.

Money is safe in your wallet. The thing is if you invest it in the wrong way  you may lose it. That is why you should see to it that you are keeping it tracted and updated.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: September 01, 2018, 10:36:07 PM
It is not addiction, it is people's avarice only. Nobody now the necessary level of money for life and everybody wants to get more and more, that's all.

Agree it is not addiction it is not contented with what he have. He want more that is why he loses because of greed. In crypto you should be vigilant in dealing with your investments and knows how to manage them.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wasted 3-4 months in bounty and at end got nothing ?? on: September 01, 2018, 03:25:55 PM
This is the main mistake of bounty hunters they are expecting so much remember if the ico will not reach softcap no bounties will be distribute because project don't have funds.

Yes too much expectations can turn  into a disappointment. This is part of the risk when projects failed and ico ICO's are not paying bounties. For me do not expect much and do the hard work. Learn on how to get a legit bounty. There are a lot of opportunities other than bounties just explore.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel like quitting? on: September 01, 2018, 12:51:22 AM
The market has been down for too long. Do you feel like quitting cryto because you ve lost much?
For me, am a die hard fan of crypto. I will be a coward if i run away. I will stay till the green light shows. What about you?

Not quitting i guess sometimes it's disappointments. Especially when you see the fluctuations is too low wiyh regards to your expectations. But quitting is not the answer but your determination to reach your goal.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC in crypto, does it really require? on: August 31, 2018, 01:19:57 PM
Do we really need to submit our personal details to ICOs for buying the token or for participating in it's bounty and airdrop?
I always wonder why do we need to give our vital info to ICOs that most are not even likely to come on in crypto space and crypto is all about decentralization but submitting our info has made it look centralized to me.
There is no regulation in crypto yet so why should we give our details to unknow ico organizers, so claim to prevent some region in participating in the ico because of the country law but those ICOs comes from the same region and country that prevent their own citizen from participating, should we say they are using style to rob us or our details is being used for other purpose .
I think it's high time we all need to stop giving our details to ICOs if really the crypto is all about decentralized and their is no regulation in the world yet to really require such details, I will like to know everyone minds about the submission of our details in term of KYC .

I do not like KYC.  It is just not comfortable giving or sending your personal informationion to ICO's. There are so many things that they can do with this information. But we don't have a choice if they need this information.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much time do you spend on bounty campaigns? on: August 31, 2018, 01:03:51 AM
How much time do you spend on bounty campaigns?

Is it worth doing bounty campaigns?

How much can you make from one bounty campaigns?

I have a day job so i am spending at least 3hrs. Minimum of my time in bounty campaigns. It is good to have a time management so that you can tract your deliverables from work, crypto and your family as well.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: August 30, 2018, 11:28:38 AM
Bitcoin now is the best price available so we can see positive signs for crypto market about to happen buying at 6600 dollars is a good sign for future growth This is the lowest price available for entire year

Now is the best time to buy since the current value is low. However when you start your investments you must learn bitcoin system and how it works. This is the  best way to start to ensure that you will not lose your money.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: August 26, 2018, 11:25:37 AM
Sometimes at work, it very tempting to do research about crypto and to satisfy our cravings to learn about crypto. However, we know for a fact that we have also deliverables at work because we are paid for it. So what I usually do is I make my daily deliverables and once I have finished everything then I can do some readings about crypto. Making my "to do list" is one way to keep me focus in my regular job. During break time, I can do a bit in crypto then after work.

Yes agree we should not do crypto while at work. This is very unfair to the company some of our workloads will ve affected and that could make us incompetent in our work. So maybe we should manage our time in crypto and our regular jobs.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: August 26, 2018, 07:58:52 AM
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

Nope. I usually read and make research in doing bounties. The bounty managers also matters so i see to it that they are reliable people. Also the references of my friends is being considered.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that Beginners need Technical analysis? on: August 26, 2018, 05:06:16 AM
I am sure that newcomers need to undergo a minimum course in order to invest correctly, or at least to shield people from old mistakes that we have already passed, I am sure that this will be the right decision and people will eventually be thankful that they did not lose their money .
Beginners need to have a better understanding of how the system works. The technical information that could you analyse and make a better decision with your investment. It is also good to have person to guide you initially.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: August 26, 2018, 03:38:16 AM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

If we will use banks to deposit our bitcoins i think we are defeating the purpose of eliminating a middle man in our transactions. You may even have to pay taxes in this form. I don't like depositing ny coins in the banks.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why KYC is important? on: August 25, 2018, 01:03:43 PM
KYC is stands for "Know Your Customer" and i think this is a system that identifies the true identity of a participants. And this KYC is important in order to validate cheaters and those scammers. But sometimes it can be used also by those scammers also by pretending to have a n ICO and will ask your information for their own benefit like using your information for bad intention and  this is the disadvantage of KYC system implemented.

It would be great if the development team passed kyc before running ico, then there would be less scam. It seems to me that such a rule will soon be introduced

Kyc is also part of knowing who your bounty hunters are. This is a counter checking the multiple entry.  The validity of the person is alsi known.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to all bounty hunters. on: August 25, 2018, 09:54:11 AM
Bounty hunters help to expose ICOs to crypto related audience to attract investors for the project. No matter how promising the project may be, if the ICO fails, the project won't see the light of the day. Bounty hunters are very important in ICOs. But there is one thing am not happy about bounty hunters. They usually dump their coins at any price the moment it is listed on an exchage which usually drops the price of the coin even below the ICO price putting the investors at a disadvantage. I want to advise the hunters to hold their bounty tokens for a while in order to maintain a good price for the coin. We shouldn't forget we are all stakeholders

Bounty hunters are entitled to whatever they want to do with there tokens. Some of them joined bounties because if the current needs. So we cannot force them to hold. Maybe the right thing to do is that bounty hunters shoukd also have a decision making not just dumping there coins immediately.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i quit on joining bounty campaign? on: August 25, 2018, 03:50:37 AM
It was an unfortunate event that i was able to join an ICO campaign that was really not good in terms of their management. They are requiring to do the bounty hunters a KYC process as to help them identify the real bounty hunters. Well that is good though and i am confident that i am able to comply in the KYC process. However, a couple of months pass the team requires the bounty hunters to contribute with 0.1 eth and that time I was about to think why when in fact they will do KYC? So i think there is something fishy out there in their ICO and i quit joining bounty campaigns. I posted more than 200 post for them but sad to say my efforts had gone to nothing. I am afraid now to join ICO bounty campaign. Should i quit? Well anyway i found SONDER and this time i am sure that i have joined a good ICO having a live sales which sold million of tokens in their private sales. No question with the success we are almost reaching the soft cap and i am planning also to invest with them as the team told us that our contribution as eth increases so does our tokens. WOw i am really impressed with these ICO. The team are working hard and i am happy and great to be with these team. I finally found the one.

Quitters are losers. How can we grab the oppurtunity to become financially stable if we stop. There are a lot more to learn in crypto just keep the learning process so that you can benefit the hard work.
