141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience: The key factor to succeeding in the crypto space on: January 09, 2019, 06:02:54 PM
I appreciate your kind words and advise, but i would say that the word patience was very easy to exercise in year 2017, but 2018 crypto experience made it more difficult. It was in that same year you would see some projects prolonged than the planned time. Projects were spending more that 6-8 months to run ICO, paying was a difficult process for them and they were not listing on time.
Well, this is the time to test our individual level of patience.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: January 09, 2019, 05:54:27 PM
Passive income when it comes to earning from cryptocurrency, can only work for those who do not have the time to engage themselves in other aspects of earning from cryptocurrency, but i can say categorically well that, those who can trade will not want to consider going for passive income, because trading is more profitable and the profit is what most people are looking out for?
Not everyone can trade, which means they may want to consider the passive income.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What you have been anticipating for- Ethereum hardfork on: January 06, 2019, 08:51:23 PM
Thanks, but just be careful with Coinex exchange, when you go to their telegram group, a lot of traders always complain about the disappearance of their deposit and non-receipt of their withdrawals after many days. They are always told to contact support and some have had to be frustrated out. Binance and Okex exchange will be supporting the Constinople and Imtoken will offer it support too, the Constantinople is just an upgrade of the ethereum network, to switch from POW to POS.
Thanks for this update. Personal I have never used coined and this warning is a prompt one, which I feel should be useful  for those who are yet to start trading on it. This is why it is necessary to use reputable exchanges, so that your fund can be safe. Security is of utmost importance.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple will Die on: January 06, 2019, 08:40:38 PM
One of the most controversial coin I have ever seen is XRP. Controversial in the sense that, first it is centralized and there have been a lot of a controversy on it, because there are some things about it that I do not like.
Yes, it might give you some profits,  but I do not see it lasting for long.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is pumping! on: January 06, 2019, 08:36:41 PM
I just envisage that before this month ends, we might see ethereum at 0.05 BTC per ETH. This can easily be achieved, most especial with the new development.
I can also observe that some people are not ready to sell their ETH now and are just waiting four the right time to do that, but who knows when the exact time is.
Let's just see it pump more.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do in 2019? on: January 06, 2019, 08:28:06 PM
I have been able to learn some rudiments on trading after series of trials in the year that has just ended, but this year 2019, I will be making use of some of the skills I have been able to acquire in trading. I will be going for coins that have good volume and are on genuine exchange sights.
Trading can be profitable, but at the same time, one needs to be careful.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do in 2019? on: January 04, 2019, 09:59:40 PM
I  believe things will get better in the crypto space, I just intend doing what I have always done, but in better ways. I am mainly into trading and bounty. 2018 has really taught me a lot of lessons when it comes to trading. This year will definitely bring a lot of opportunities, but are will really ready to tap into it? It can only gerpt better and that is what I am seeing?
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People provoke the growth of Ethereum ? on: January 04, 2019, 09:56:25 PM
So many people who acclaim to like ethereum or be fan to it, will dump it whenever they see it plummet again, just free people can reckon with it and truly hold, but my main concern is, who does not want or need profit?
Ethereum has the tendency to grow tremendously and that is the sign of what we are seeing now. I am just observing and still holding, to see what will become of the price soon.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is going to convince me which is the best! on: January 04, 2019, 09:50:00 PM
I would have chosen BTC first, but to me, I feel it is enjoying the grace of  being the first cryptocurrence that ever existed and it has long been traded before others.
Another thing I discovered is that, it was the first to be trusted before any other coin and that made it to seem to have more store of value, of which ethereum has more and this is likely to increase its adoptive power.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Blockchain beat VISA someday? on: January 03, 2019, 11:12:52 PM
The key to that is the government approval, without which it will be challenging. Blockchain has got a lot of potentials, despite that, it still need some support. As a matter of fact, it is the best, but it's decentralized nature, is what is causing some backdrops. Some banks, most especially epex banks, are considering integrating it into their system, which will bring more enhancement to their works.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What am I to do? on: January 03, 2019, 11:08:47 PM
The market is now almost the verge of recovering. Changes are happening almost every time and updates are being released almost every time. Coins with good updates, are responding well to these changes and they are already growing. I could remember, that some weeks back, xrp was giving a good response to the update released, now it's time for ETH.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people believe and invest in fraudulent ICO? on: January 03, 2019, 11:03:35 PM
As far as I heard, the ICO Scam raised over $ 1 billion. Why did people invest in these ICO? Do you think this situation has changed now?
The rate at which ICO PS are being lunched is alarming. Although, this was so numerous in 2018, but we do not yet know what will happen in 2019.
I am looking forward to the time that the ICOs lunched in the crypto space, will be free of scam and investors will have the trust to invest
We are yet to say if they have reduced, but investors have to do their research before venturing into any investment.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do for shit coins in our wallet? on: January 03, 2019, 10:59:19 PM
I have done some bounty campaigns that were unsuccessful.. Also some were scams. But I have received some tokens from few of that projects. So I need to know this, Is there any opportunity that can I use this tokens?  Smiley Smiley
Sell the off, if you can't, just leave them there.
I usually have a separate wallet, where I keep valuable coins. Which means I do not bother myself with shit coins, except I have the opportunity to sell them of.
Even at that, I usually ensure that most of the coins I have are good and genuine ones, so as not to record unnecessary loss. You can achieve this through proper research.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the king of all altcoins on: January 02, 2019, 11:56:08 PM
ICOs can also affirm that it is the king and that is the plain fact. At least, we are starting the new year, with the hope that this year holds good  for the crypto space.
Attaining 0.05 BTC is also possible from the situation of things on ground. Ethereum is really growing fast , unlike what i expected.
Those who bought during the last lowest price, would have recorded big profit by now, it's just that it takes extra effort to hold sometimes.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Finally ETH is back at no. 2 spot on: January 02, 2019, 11:47:40 PM
Seeing ethereum picked up at this time, i means that there is still every possibility for it to rise more. I am sure that the updates coming up, will be it the power to seriously outrun xrp that former took the position.
Also XRP might be seen to plummet further, if care is not taken, because most people who are XRP holders might stat selling and then divert their funds to eth.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: GET OUT WHEN YOU CAN!!OR STAY AND CRY! on: January 02, 2019, 11:42:09 PM
sadly it is over friends!!!but of course too hard to believe!
Being pessimistic in a situation that calls for hope, will not help. Do you expect them to sell at loss and then get out. That will not bring back the lost money. Rather, i would advise that the person sells, then hold on to see if it will plummet further. If it does, then buy back and wait for it to rise again, before selling.
This might help you to recover your losses.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why StableCoin like Tether fall below $1? on: January 02, 2019, 11:28:57 PM
Hi guys,

Can anyone explain why tether falls below $1 dollar?
Also, most STC are centralized and dollarized, isn't that going back to reliance on fiat.
At first, i was amazed when i saw tether at below $1 and i asked myself what could have happened, but after making some findings, i discovered that it plummeted mainly, because of the news that went round, stating that it is a scam. At that time, some people wanted to quickly sell theirs, so they were selling at very low price, so as nit to lose out. There are still quite some god number of stable coins.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves knock out Ethereum on: December 30, 2018, 05:46:49 PM
Whoever was carried away when waves was moving uptrend and was busy buying more, will now come to understand that, even good coins or coins that have had any form of development can still experience corrections. Presently, no one of talking about waves as much as it was some few weeks ago. In all was, ethereum is still better than waves. I cannot think of composting the two, except waves moves to top 5.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: predictions of 2019 on: December 30, 2018, 05:43:07 PM
1. Surprise - Life goes on Smiley

2. Much more projects will die

3. New projects will start

4. It will be a year of crypto education

5. It will be a year of maturation

6. Delays of fully POS in Ethereum

7. Improvements in User Experience - Keep an eye out for (Elrond - work on exquisite user experience is being done)

8. Facebook in crypto?

9. ..... - You write your predictions
Taking clue from your point number 6, you should not have the believe that every coin will mature. As a matter of fact, do not be surprised that good coins will also experience some corrections.
Then not just news projects, but new forms of projects with good technology are gradually being awakened in the crypto space, such as STO and other forms. By next year, more investors will be drawn into the crypto space.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alts to buy? on: December 29, 2018, 09:32:01 PM
Hey guys, which altcoins do you recommend to buy now? I recently bought Fantom token and I want to buy another currency. What do you recommend?
Recommending a particular coin for you to invest in, might not be the best. The reason being that every coin is usually followed up by updates. What if I recommend and the coin later dump, without you noticing, will you not say that I gave you a wrong advise. What I am saying in essence is that, even if you are advised to invest in a coin, still go further  to research on the coin and follow every update on it.
