seems volume dropped significantly, very odd, pump to 7500 now dropped with little volume.
It was a one man pump, I was surprised to see 7K sat so early in development progress since there is no even an alpha release yet.. Personally I think the dev is going to release a finished or close to finished product, if you read his posts you said torrents implementation was completed ages ago. And I am satoshi, but I don't wanna prove it. anyway, he didn't say it was completed.. Believe what you want to believe. I've been following this for a couple months now and while the dev doesn't post often, they are developing. Every investment is a gamble and you're free to invest in any coin you wish. I haven't seen any other coins doing 2FA, and I haven't seen in-wallet encrypted chat ( I could be wrong, I don't follow all 500+ alt-coins) done elsewhere either. My money's on VTR for 2017 and I'll either be rich, poor, or right where we are right now come 2018. Have a good day. -pickle |

interesting project- but what about the dev? how regularly does he reply and push new stuff? I bought a few VTR just to keep it bookmarked -but I haven't had time to dig into the code yet. So the torrent stuff is not quite yet in there, but the riot integration will be in next release? sounds cool! Buying 10% of vtr > would pump the price to $200m [see Monero price] > he would get his $12m and have something left over for his wedding, plus a stake in a competitor. No brainer. Anyone selling below $20m: god I hate that picture  If this can be pulled off, and I do think it's a big if, price would most certainly go up. Perhaps more importantly though, it would actually push a bunch of users (some new) to this space so when torrenting is released a bunch of people will be able to try it and word will get out much faster. Understatement of the century. I'm a pretty skeptical person so i'll believe it when I see it, but I'm pretty sure the price would explode if KDC jumped on board. -Pickle |

I ask because I saw some comment a couple of pages back about it being closed source but I'm pretty sure that was just FUD. Also, what's with that other coin, vidz something? Are these 2 coins competing or are there just some similarities? Thanks! yeah you know the "security" features like 2fa are closed source and who knows what else "to prevent theft" but even if there isn't anything malicious in there, it's a bit delusional to think people would want to run a closed source program to manage their money or assets. Basically they don't want thieves stealing code, but i heard it will be open source once they establish themselves. Purevidz is a completely different... like apples to oranges comparison and by oranges i mean dildos. They aren't even close to the same yet trolls from Purevidz keep coming here. the problem with open sourcing the 2fa isn't to prevent theft, it's that with it being open source it makes the 2fa pointless because the whole point of it is that there is a "secret" that "secret" is only suppose to be known by your secondary device, usually your phone. In this case though, the "secret" is derived from the password you use to decrypt the wallet meaning with the source being open, you can see how to compute that secret. therefore if you know the wallet password, and how to compute the secret, you can compute the secret, produce yourself a new QR code and scan it and viola you have access to their 2fa now too!! so secure!! That wasn't what i meant by theft. They don't want <insert vtr knockoff> being made at the same time. |

I think you mean "could have"  Hard forks is the curse of our time. U dont need to other urself about someones private life, instead u should think about the future and be moderate in posting, eating and investing since this is the only quality that differentiates humans from animals. Am I able to download shit from thepiratebay and just seed it on vTorrent and earn coins?  Not if the people that uploaded on piratebay do it first! xD Actually this could be a big problem, whats to stop one person from downloading a paid torrent, then distributing it for free? The way I picture this happening is this: 1. Person A initially uploads File A at a fixed price of 1TOKEN 2. Person B pays Person A 1TOKEN for the download, then does one of two things. 3a. Person B allows others to upload File A and shares profit with person A. 3b. Person B modifies File A to become File B and uploads File B at a fixed price of 1/2TOKEN. If people chose 3b whenever they get a file, the price of that file will trend towards free which to be fair, after a long enough period of time, a file should become public domain and thus free (but that's just my opinion). To combat against this, I thought a good way of combating the problem would be to: 1. Set a time limit that states after X amount of time, the file becomes public domain and free to download. 2. Allow the user to set a cap on how much money they want to make before the file becomes public domain. Just a thought  -Pickle |
