Good news. I am going to repost this as people are asking me for info. Please study this video well and watch for the "tells" a great victory for classic. martin from gnosis was representing the forked eth, what an embarrassment he was. As malreynolds said, "Please study this video and watch for tells." great saying! @suchmoon nice work, @mybitcoin101 "Please study this video and watch for tells." was my addition. I don't want to put words in MalReynolds mouth. I trained as a Psychiatric Nurse and i'm good at poker too. They are worried! @greenuser, great quote, I'm adding it to my arsenal of motivational speeches. Poker player you say? watch rounders, great movie.

Altho I am indeed an avid poker player, the "watch for tells" line comes from green! It is a great quote my friend! not to change the subject, you need to watch rounders. great movie. ok, back to classic.

Honestly, what applications ?
are you trying to be a passive aggressive fudder? If not and truly want to know, the answer is all the dapps are. You need to think like a business person with your own question. we r only 2 weeks into this and keep in mind that vitalik and company were not bright enough to realize that a large community was against the fork. They assumed everyone was just going to follow them and a lot did like pigs to a slaughter. They never expected classic to continue but guess what, here we are and growing everyday. Now to your question...coders have been working on projects to put on the eth blockchain for a long time. a lot of time invested and they never saw classic coming also. Also keep in mind that the only answer to give if you are building a project on thr eth forked chain is that you will stay with the fork. They are stuck between a rock and a hard place. trust me when I say this, behind closed doors are where the tone changes. The first step you will see are some projects publicly say they haven't ruled out classic . They will add that its possible to use on both. as more and more projects start announcing this, the snowball effect will kick in. stay tuned for an exciting time in cryptoland.

I have a suggestion,
Can you please tell us how many coins you mint a day per 10,000 staked?
Thanks
I had working simulations some months ago, after launch it was more than 20% per month. As I said "Decred profit seems to be below 10% per month now" - but it is an average, and it is not that simple - you can not expect to get XX in a day if staked YY, but I think you understand that. I stake a lot of coins and I can give a certain amount that will be minted based off the coin supply being staked. is it the same all the time? no but it gives the reader a ballpark number. I have also found the interest coins claim you will receive can vary as much as 76% over the amount the claims you will get.

Classic needs to be the pow/pos hybrid
do not go to 100% pos

Bitcoin got forked too Now, which chain survived? Forked one or old one? Whoever answers right, keeps coins that wont devalue. You don't seem to understand the reasons behind either of the forks. Bitcoin had a legitimate reason for the hard fork in the past, protocol security. Ethereum hard fork was to bail out idiots who invested in a bugged smart contract. bingo!

Honestly, what applications ?
I second that. There are none that jumped ship. No one has but think about this situation. Let us say that the hash rate of the original chain is already at 50-50 with the forked chain and still gaining. Still the dapp makers in ETH are not yet jumping ship. But what if someone "copies" the ideas from the fork and continue them in the original? Like someone copying Augur and they call it Augur Classic or something with the same functionality and operating in the slightly winning chain. Of course I am only speculating that it might happen. Gnosis is still sticking with the forked eth. This can change with the very fluid back and forth taking place. Classic needs some time to grow and I believe it will. At this time, projects will flip sides.

we do need a go to marketing person. somebody that is the mouth piece for classic and has the gas to pour on the fire to make classic legit in others eyes

Watching this video now... So far it sounds like he likes doing the bidding of the VC(banks). I hope his views have evolved since ETHF has essentially done the bidding for the investors and insiders by doing the bailout fork. I will continue watching, but so far he isn't thrilling me with his responses 8 minutes into the video. Thanks for sharing Paula. :-) It is a fallout because of differences of ideas. Either one is not a bad idea and both could be good ideas. It depends on your style and what you want to happen. In Charles' idea they will be made answerable to VC investors while Vitalik will have none of it taking everything in his own hands. I in Vitalik's case it went bad as we have seen. I finished watching that video and then the video from today. The video from today clearly showed the huge and stark differences between immutability and the authoritarian perspective. Martin clearly stated that if they thought 80% of the community supported something they would do it to include censoring, rolling back transactions, etc. Which appeared to really go cross purposes with most of the panel and this is clearly what is wrong with Ethereum and those who represent it. The question was asked who is this "community" because many of us who hold or held ethereum knew nothing about any vote. So it appears to be a very small cross section of people represented. Next it also seemed to me like the Ethereum position was almost "smug", and laughing at anyone holding a different view point than theirs. And it also appeared that they were saying tough, we are doing it this way and there really is no reason for ETC to exist. I liked Charles views and thoughts on Ethereum in today's presentation and it sounds like he is putting his money where his mouth is by hiring developers. Now it sounds like the community needs to start the round table discussions next to build a consensus and roadmap. It sounded like Charles was going to push a hybrid POW/POS which does sound very attractive and I would like to hear more. I agree. martin turned me off to ethforked. he may be able to code but he is clueless about everything else in life. he is part of the gnosis team and I pulled out of it because of their stance. he also was clueless about the correct numbers for the vote.

I have been on bitcoin for about two months. When I started, I did not have any direction or guidance. Unfortunately, I fell for a HYIP internet scam that promised 100% on the same day. I lost my bitcoin and never got anything back. I did not have anything left, but I have been trying to make some bitcoin faucet claims. Although I am getting little, but I was hoping to cover for my loss, sturdy but sure. If you game me 10 BTC today, I would cover my loss and invest it in order to earn a little more. Such a boost would afford me a tremendous sigh of relief! let that go and take it as paying the stupid tax. we all did the same in different areas. you learned a valuable lesson. don't chase your bitcoin you spent learning a lesson, it was money well spent. start accumulating more bitcoin $5 bucks at a time or whatever you can afford. it adds up fast
