141  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get girls when you're not handsome? on: February 14, 2018, 07:17:53 AM
Any advice?
Please don't say it's all about confidence and all that bs because I don't believe it.
Not al girls are attracted to the looks of man. Some ar also attracted to those who are not but have sense of humor. Making us, girls, laugh is a huge advantage. Men who have this kind of trait and those who talk with sense is an advantage. Those who are open minded and is sensitive. I am sure there will be someone there for you. If you feel like she's the one, grab every opportunity to be with her and be yourself.
142  Other / Off-topic / Re: do you have goal in life? on: February 13, 2018, 08:48:48 PM
write down your 2 goal to achieve in 6 month term. 1. is the personal goal then 2. professional goal.
I have so many goals in life, long term goals actually. When i read the instructions i thought of it, guess what, i realized i haven't thought of short term goals.. Kidding aside, here are my 2 short teem goals.
1. Personal goal: It is to lose weight at least 10kls.
2. Personal goal: It is to enrol and continue my master's degree. Crossing fingers!!

144  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merits easily ? on: February 11, 2018, 08:35:05 AM
with new bct update to become a full member need 100 merits and i still have only 10 merits. What is the best way to earn merits
When I first saw the new update on bTC regarding merits, i just told myself to go on with wjat i do. But when a friend of mine rold me that i needed 10 merits to be a member, I was alrmed, really alarmed. So i ask a member of the forum on tips how to get merits and read forums regarding merits. That, i needed to make quality posts so i can be awarded with some merits. Just a thought, what if i thought i posted a quality one but the moderators doesn't count it as one?? I guess i just needed to continue my posts and response hoping that i made one quality post.

145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin? on: February 11, 2018, 12:37:04 AM
Many of us may have read that 2018 will be game over for bitcoin.Every now and then have seen that every Tom, Dick & Harry Coin claims that their blockchain technology is better than bitcoin and they will solve the real issue with bitcoin network but in reality no one is even close to that.

Is there a alternate to bitcoin to replace it?

Can this crypto economy survive without bitcoin?

Yes, I think , we will survive without bitcoin. Over the years, we adapt to any changes  that's been occuring in our lives especially in the web. If ever bitcoin will fade, I am sure there will be some alternatives that will replace it. People are very creative and imaginative. If Satoshi was able to built bitcoin, someone will create another one, or an alternative to challenge themselves. However, I do hope that bitcoin will not last. I mean, i will update or upgrade this one to cope wirh its users.

146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: February 10, 2018, 12:35:39 PM
Just imagine selling your $259,900 house for 43BTC and 2 Months in street.

and after just 2 months sell 43BTC for $498198.

Again buying the previous also you will be in profit of $472298.

would you try this technique.
I wont try this technique. Even though bitcoin is high, i wont take any risks. It is hard to earn properties such as house and lands. Even if the price is high, i wont still sell my house so i can invest bigger amount of money in bitcoin. Bitcoin is only temporary, i domt know when it will last. I'd rather have my house..

I often wonder what some of the forum names stand for and thought it would make a good topic.
so....
What does your forum name mean?
I love coffee!! That's what my forum name means. When I was in college i can drink 4 cups a day. Until now, i can have four cups but i lessen it now because i am a nursing mom. I went crazy when my mother forbade me to drink coffee when i was pregnant. The first thing ask after giving birth is coffee.  Especially brewed ones, i go loco on coffee. Wanna sip a cup of coffee with me sometime??

149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Valentine's Day affect BTC? on: February 07, 2018, 06:03:43 AM
I'm really curious if market pump celebrations affect BTC and how?❤❤❤
I don't think Valentine's Day will affect bitcoin. I don't see the logic in here honestly. Well, if bitcoin will affect Valentine's day, i guess it will. You see, bitcoiners can pay their bills, buy flowers, chocolates, teddy bears and other surprises for their dates using bitcoin. There is convenience during dates, no hassles and all. They will have a perfect Valentine's date. That's how bitcoin will affect the Valentine's day..  Grin Grin

Do you have a bucket list? What things would you want to do before you die?
I do have bucket list created almost 3 years ago but haven't achieved any of it yet.
1. Go on a honeymoon with my husband in Batanes for 3 nights and 4 days.
2. Vacation in El Nido, Palawan.
3. Go to Rome and buy a rosary from there with my family especially my parents.
4. Places to visit: Paris, Santorini and London.
5. Put up a simple business.
6. Treat my family during my parents' anniversary.
7. Skydive and bungee jump.
8. Have a car of my own.
9. Treat my parents to Cebu and visit the Minor Basilica of Sto. Nino.

One of the reasons why I joined bitcoin and this forum is to achieve this bucket list. You see, money is needed for these ones. So, before one of my parents join our Creator, I can can fulfill a thing or two for them, together.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A possibility to travel without your wallet (just with Bitcoins)? on: February 05, 2018, 04:38:02 AM
Well I have been thinking of this possibility of expansion of Bitcoins use to such an extent that one may simply travel with hands in one's pockets! That should be level at which the ascendance of cryptocurrency should be and towards which we as a community should work.

The very fact of travelling will include more than one fields of business into its fold. Flights, eateries, pharmacies, hotels, rooms, restaurants, shopping stores, movie theatres, book stores, gyms and fitness centres, taxis and buses. This is not just a dream but a goal that we should try to reach.

I am not necessarily promoting a cashless & cardless society but cash & cards can simply be an alternative. All you may need with you is your cell phone and ID card to move all around the world. Into such a morning of sun shine, I am looking at. But gradually what turns out is such a cashless and cardless society with eases lives.

The world has become more and more cohesive and smaller. Getting knitted closely together. Like the evolution of species, cryptocurrency has evolved from various different ideas to a superior manifestation. And today though slowly but steadily we are finding the shift towards it. It is in near future that we may find the world being defined by whole new parameters of currency, economy and development to which cryptocurrency and especially bitcoin will be an integral part.
I have actually thought of that. Buying, eating, travelling without money and card is a lot more convenient. You can do all things and go anywhere without even thinking if you have money or is there any machine nearby. However, since bitcoin hasn't been accepted fully nationwide and worldwide, i think some countries will still rely on their wallets and cards. As for me, as alternative, beside from bitcoin, i will still bring with me cash and card in case emergencies happen.

152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What impresses you the most about Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2018, 07:50:41 AM
I know a lot of people have different reason why the love and embrace bitcoin.
For me the decentralized nature of bitcoin and the thought of being able to send coins to anybody in any part of the word, no third party, no regulation(specific amount), no bullshit is mind blowing.

The fact that you need to sit down in front of your computer, think and type, click here and click that, and wait! That makes me impressed!! If this is how my job works, i will definitely love my job as well. Doing bitcoin could eat up my time but i don't really care, i like what i am doing and i have something in return. I may sound like i need a lot of money (That i really need). Also, you don't need any investment (money) to start with bitcoin, only your time, brains and the internet! Yeah!!

154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: February 02, 2018, 01:47:17 AM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me
It is because it's their law. All countries have their laws that need to be strictly followed. Some government may be afraid of cryptocurrency because they cannot control it. Like in Bangladesh or in Russia, they are cautious since gold purchases in their country is frowned upon. Uncontrolled currency may bring their own money down, that may lead to decreased in countries net worth. Laws are laws.

155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: February 01, 2018, 11:10:31 PM
Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?
I really think it's not losing it's popularity but is really at the peak of it's popularity. There still many people who are not informed about this and some ignore their knowledge about it. As of me, I am still learning about bitcoin and in depth research about it, how to acquire it, how to let it grow, how to invest, how to trade, how to use and all. I am having fun doing this. I am glad, i am learning more about bitcoin.

156  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Real friends. on: January 30, 2018, 11:55:51 PM
There is too much these days about people have friends as snakes disguise. Well let us take a moment appreciate the real friends. I bet people still have real friends, the ones who truly stand by them no matter what happens. We waste too much time complaining about the bad people we have in our life. Why not appreciate the ones who have been in our life as a blessing. I've been blessed with a whole bunch of real friends who support me no matter what. Are you also among the blessed ones?
Fortunately, i am one of those who have real friends. Way back college, we are three in our group. We almost do everything together ,we eat, do tasks, thesis, play and go anywhere together. After studying, one went overseas to give a better future for her son, the two of us stayed local but still miles apart. We chat, facebook and try to see each other every time  our friend comes home. Sadly, i haven't been with them for two years now because i have my son to take care of. Anyhow, i am lucky to have my real friends...
157  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe all muslims are bad? on: January 30, 2018, 07:54:27 AM
Do you believe all Muslims are bad? How do they differ from the terrorists?

You may want to share your thoughts. Some think all muslims are terrorist. Reasons why they said that because they don't study about their culture and norms. They need more information about why there are msulims and how do muslim live, how are they related to ISIS and other terrorists group in the world.
I dont think all Muslims are bad. That is what makes me sad, people seem to think all Muslims are bad because of ISIS and other terrorists attacks made by Muslims. Look at this: Some religions let's say Christians for instance, also commit hideous crimes but do other people think all Christians are bad? Or Catholics?? No. So let's think the same with Muslims. Not all Muslims are bad, same thru with Christians and Catholics.
158  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Quit Facebook on: January 30, 2018, 05:18:18 AM
It has been almost a year already since I decided to stop using facebook. Tell you what, It feels great not seeing all these showbiz personalities, the faces of these stupid politicians, the drama etc...Would you quit facebook?, just try it and I assure you of one thing and that's "Reality".
I can say I am not that addicted to facebook. I can go on without facebook for weeks. Whenever i dont like to see the posts of certain friends, especially the ones i really envy, i avoid this social media for a while or when i feel to down or depressed, or if i see myself doing shopping/window shopping again i stop using facebook. i dont like to totally stop using it because it's the only communication i have to my others friends and lots of relatives. Maybe it's just the way we use and the way we see facebook. It's not really bad, i just depends on how we use and see facebook.
159  Other / Off-topic / Re: What advice would you give to your 18-year-old self? on: January 29, 2018, 06:04:53 AM
I would give advice to develop in software engineering. (Also buying Bitcoin of course Smiley )
I will advice myself to be more independent and make your decisions wisely.. If you want to succeed, don't always plan and dream only, that you also have to act on your plans. Because those are only intangible. If you want this and that, act to make it tangible, so you can reach your dreams and live the life the way you want it to be. Learn from your mistakes and don't brood, it will not help you.. Also, always pray religiously, not because you feel you need to pray. Be thankful of what you have and don't always complain. Learn to be grateful of the small things you have. Always look on the brighter side.
160  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The taboo of child marriages. on: January 29, 2018, 02:00:36 AM
Being forced to live with a person you barely know for the rest of your life, with no way out is totally horrifying. According to stats in Pakistan 20 percent of women are married before the age of 18, and most of these marriages are forced. To many it may seem like a high profile social issue, but if you think about it on a personal level you will realize that it is simply cruel. Forcing a child in a marriage, whose happiness is in playing freely and living peacefully with their parents, is no way fair. They barely know the meaning of marriage.

Forced marriage is not good for me, i totally disagree with it. In my country, forced marriage has been wiped out decades ago and we are now free to choose any one we love but fits our own standards. Being with someone you don't even know for the rest of your life is very disappointing and unhappy. There may be some instances that they learn to love one another but i know there are women who suffer from this kind of marriage. I am lucky enough i was not born in any of this country.
