Well, I think most of airdrops are indeed scams and even for those that do provide airdrops, they are not worth much. However, I did get some good airdrops recently. I'm kinda getting sick and tired of people comparing eth and bitcoin when they really have not that much in common and can perfectly exist next to each other. You know eth's got 5 times as much coins as bitcoin, right? So it needs about 20% of bitcoins price to 'beat' bitcoin in terms of marketcap, which says absolutely zero about the intrinsic value of a coin (look at ripple). Also, bitcoin is a currency and a way to store value (like gold), whereas eth is a platform designed for smart contracts and business building.

Now I'm investing ethereum and litecoin. These two currencies are the ones that go up without much manipulation tells during a bitcoin price increase. I'm sure these two coins they will show their potential in this 2018. But if you have very small amount for investment then you to take time to research the coin you want to invest and take your own risk in investing the right coin you believe in.

  many coins are racing to develop their respective technologies but I think that's impossible, like eth although its smartcontract technology is very good it can not be used as a benchmark to offset bitcoin, I do not think anyone can beat bitcoin.
