Very much so on both You'll find that the lack of hype on this coin initially is somewhat intentional. I'm not part of the iCoin team but I do help out with promotional activities, giveaways, etc... and I'm an active investor+miner. Right now, two smaller exchanges have been secured, with the next being coinmarket.io, and soon thereafter cryptsy, bter, etc... If community sentiment reaches it's peak concurrently with a major exchange listing and vendor acceptance, it will help propel the coin and the brand exponentially further. Hey everybody, this post could technically be filed under the Bitcoin section, but I have only 1 BTC and LTC wallet, and the rest are alt currencies. I also have a feeling my issue isn't with any particular currency, but moreso the way I'm downloading or accessing my wallets. Here is my issue below..

I use an encrypted IronKey flashdrive for all my wallets. When I originally downloaded the wallets, it was on my laptop. I believe I saved the initial folder just in my 'Downloads' tab, and when I unzipped them, I did so in the flash drive.

When I plug my flash drive into my laptop, voilla, there are my coins in all their glory.

When I plug my flash drive into my desktop, dud, all my wallets appear to be brand new. No coins, no transaction history, no wallet address, etc...

My question is what can I do so I can simply plug my flash drive into ANY computer and all my coins will be there? That was my intent in using the flash drive in the first place If it helps at all, I've done wallet backups to the cloud via Google Drive, I don't really ever save anything to my computer's hard drives, only cloud, cloud backups, and external Seagate drive.

Like many above, I gotta say I'm in agreement about iCoin. You just can't mess with that name, not to mention how clean those graphics/designs are for marketing purposes, holy crap!

Very professional dev and expansion team with an attractive name, attractive design work, and seeking long term sustainability as a globally recognized currency, as opposed to simply "pump and dump" like all these other alt coins that will eventually fall to the wayside.

They just need an exchange to launch on! Pools and a multitude of users already in place.

I think it's important to note that there are plenty of scammers out there, regardless of the coin we're talking about. Here's a few safety suggestions to anyone who wishes to trade without an open exchange yet.

1. Check to see if your buyer/seller has a reputation thread. A reputation thread is commented on by other people who have successfully completed a transaction with this user in the past.

2. Even in the instance that your buyer/seller has a reputation thread, always start out trading small amounts. For instance, if you're trading 1,000 ICN, I would personally make the first couple transfers 100 ICN. Send each other back n' forth messages upon the confirmation taking place. This is more tedious, but at least you know if you're dealing with a scammer, you won't get completely screwed.

I agree. I think it's great for this coin (and any coin for that matter) to develop a market or retail infrastructure before rushing it to the exchanges. It decreases the potential for people to use and abuse the coin, and gives room for a more consistent pattern for growth, as opposed to the "here today, gone tomorrow" trend that's been plaguing most of these newer alt coins.

Hey everybody, I'm really excited where this coin is heading especially since they've gotten over the few little wallet / blockchain bugs.
