Just a small note, maybe you should pick a different symbol, since BTX is already used by Bitcore. That would make it easier for people and avoid confusion, guess most exchanges won't list you under BTX if there is already an established product with the same name.

Depending on your electricity costs Nvidia might be the better choice if it's expensive.
If you want to use Nicehash or jump around with algos anyway, then as some people already said, the Nvidia cards will be much better since they're more versatile.
I think you also should take other costs into account, with 13 RX570 you will most likely need more PSUs and Mainboards etc, additional costs and risk factors where you might get problems. 7 1070tis should fit on a single rig, depending on the board you get. Also don't forget the 1070 is one (or the) most efficient card when it comes to hashes/watt.
The resale value, which was mentioned before, for the AMD cards is very low, they're also not as durable as Nvidia (from my experience) cards. A 1070ti is a pretty great card and will still be usable for people even in a few years once AMD will release a new series again, and Nvidia should release their new batch around May.
Nvidia is easier to setup, no custom BIOS or other fancy things needed, just plug in, install and go, I would go for the 1070ti, or the regular 1070, not sure if the 9gbps problems are fixed yet

Nice project, but just 100 users for the airdrop may be a bit too low, but as long as I'm in I don't mind ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Should definitely edit the OP to include all details, would be a shame if people miss out this awesome project!

I never saw mining as a short term profit, I'm just doing it on the side with my gaming rig since I don't have time to play anymore, might as well try to make some money, also thought about selling my card since the price went up by 30% compared to the time I bought it. But the point is you should mine something you think will increase in value. So many people just look at short term gains and jump around mining what looks good right now (nicehash), this is good if you have a big farm, but smaller miners are better off with some gambling. As someone already suggested, BTX is a good coin to mine right now, but somehow can't get my miner to run, not sure what is the exact problem.

I really really love this project, the real world applicance of it is a huge plus and your business model is well thought out. On top of that you have a good presention here already. The more I travel and have to rely on actual ratings and reviews the more I get disappointed because so many of them are made by bots or people simply get paid for giving a good rating. I will definitely follow your project, keep up the good work.

Decentralized security is definitely a big plus, but security is also needed and very important here, but looks like you can handle it well

Finally a new PoW Coin again, I like the combination of PoS and PoW much more than pure PoS

I personally like the RX570/580 cards. Last month I was buying them for 300-330 each, hard to catch in stock but possible. I average 29mh/s for Eth while dual mining and about 125w per card. I wouldn't put more than 2 cards in a standard desktop unless you're using PCIE risers and have the cards mounted external to the case (ugly, but possible). I don't have experience with the nvidia cards, imo they normally seem more expensive initial investment. AMD cards seem to hash better on Ethereum compared to equivalent performance nvidia cards (Ethereum is what I want to mine). Nvidia cards do better on other coins, I believe Equihash algo, than the AMD cards. I ran 2 cards in my desktop while I was waiting on my server power supply to arrive from China for my dedicated rig. It's possible, but I'm much happier not mining on my main computer. When I want to play a game, i don't have to make sure to turn my primary card off mining first, etc. Sometimes I would accidentally overstress something and my computer would crash. Dedicated mining rig stays up all the time and keeps me warm in the winter ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Totally agree with you, especially if you plan closing the case, it will get hot in there very quickly, requiring faster fan speeds which leads to higher power consumption and noise. Wish I got into all this mining a bit earlier, still bought my 1060 at a reasonable price compared to now, but still way too expensive. I thought about 1050tis, they're good, but you will need more mainboards and so on, so not sure if it's really worth it and the 4gb may be too low by the end of 2018, nobody will buy them, so resale value is not high either.

Have seen the Asus P106-100 cards and they are basically these cards with 6gb on the pcb but made for mining only as they don't have any dvi or vga output in the back of the card. I know that msi makes their own variation of this card as well. They have been sold out for months now as with any of these cards now.
Unless they come at a big discount they won't really be worth it, the resale value of them is practically 0 since they are useless for anything else. I have been getting my Zotac AMP! 1060 with Micron to 23.6 on Ethash with +700 on mem, -20 on core and the fan running at 50% fan (65-68°) at 80% power limit, seemed to be the lowest power drain (between 66 and 75 according to GPUZ, no idea why it fluctuates so much)
