141  Economy / Speculation / I'm hoping to see coin prices decline A LOT in the next couple months. on: December 05, 2018, 03:10:38 AM
Over the next few months, I want to see coin prices crash big time.  Go WAY down, before recovering in the spring and booming again.

Why do coin prices need to drop a lot?  Simple.  So I can buy in cheap and maximize my profits during the next big coin price surge.

I'm already HODLing 5400 Ripple XRP, and I'd like to pick up some bitcoin, litecoin, and ethereum at rock bottom prices.

I'm also enjoying seeing bitcoin difficulty plummet, because miners are shutting down ASICs, because prices are dropping.  So difficulty drops, and prices drop, and more miners shut down, and so forth.

Will there be an even bigger boom than the last one which almost touched $20,000?  Absolutely.  I don't care if Tether is used to artificially manipulate the prices again or not.  All I care about is getting as much money as possible out of crypto coins.

142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China owns +90% of ALL CRYPTO - Alt's Included ( 51% is Myth ) on: November 29, 2018, 04:45:18 AM
I'm not going to get into who owns or controls what, I have only one concern.  MONEY FOR ME.

When will the prices of which coins drop, and by how much?  When will those prices rise, and by how much?  All I care about is my own personal profit.  So if anyone has any tips on when I should buy or sell what coins, PM me.  Thanks.  Smiley
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your guess for how high Ripple XRP prices will go? There's a limit. on: October 18, 2018, 03:55:38 AM
Sadly, I think XRP won't get much over $5-$7.  I'm just hoping for the best.  LTC moves with BTC a lot more than XRP does.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: price of litecoin before 2019. on: October 18, 2018, 03:46:03 AM
I want LTC to dip back to $2, so I can buy a lot and HODL, and profit a lot of money down the road a year or two on the next big price rise.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What's your guess for how high Ripple XRP prices will go? There's a limit. on: October 17, 2018, 01:17:59 PM
I'm HODLing 5400 Ripple coins, so I am very interested in its price firing up to around $10,000 per coin so I can retire and get a black card and a Tesla.

But to be realistic, I have to wonder -- how high CAN Ripple go?

With the proper news stories and online articles, we can get the general public all hyped up to start mortgaging their houses for Ripple coins like what they did with Bitcoins in late 2017.  FOOLS!!!

But then I think of what Ripple coins are used for - to facilitate big bank transactions, and since Ripple coins are so cheap, banks can transfer their funds at minimal cost.

So it seems that if Ripple prices went too high, they'd lose their benefit of being low cost, which would negate the reason to use them, aside from their speed.

So what does a realistic top end dollar figure for a Ripple coin look like?  $5? $10? $50? $200?

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to store Ripple coins, in my account or download a wallet? on: October 05, 2018, 02:57:12 AM
Finally got my coins a little more secure.  I got a Ledger Nano S last week, but just got around to setting it up tonight.  I moved 2000 XRP to my Ledger, and put 750 XRP in my account on another exchange, and 750 XRP in my account on yet another exchange.  This way my XRP is in 4 different places, so I think that reduces the chances of a complete hack-fuckery to a minimum.

I agree that moving all my XRP to the Ledger might be the best thing, but I don't trust any one thing to have all my coins in it.

Now I just need Ripple to surge over $5000 per coin long enough for me to cash out and retire.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to store Ripple coins, in my account or download a wallet? on: September 24, 2018, 01:10:22 AM
I was looking on Coinbase, and it seems that they just give the prices for XRP, I did not see a way to park some XRP there.  Can it be stored there?  I don't think so.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to store Ripple coins, in my account or download a wallet? on: September 21, 2018, 02:49:50 PM
I was just reading the Toast wallet FAQ, and it said the wallet locks up 20 XRP for reserve.  No big deal at 50 cents, but when Ripple blows past $500, I do not want $10,000 of my money sitting frozen due to some dumb requirement!  Screw that noise!!!

Ripple just passed 65 cents and knocked Ethereum from the #2 position.  Ripple is now the #2 highest market cap coin!  Get that on the news, get uneducated consumers to mortgage their house to buy Ripple, pump the price sky high, and make me some nice PROFIT!!!  Smiley
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to store Ripple coins, in my account or download a wallet? on: September 21, 2018, 01:55:34 PM
Yes, I agree with the above suggestions for getting it off the exchanges.  It might not have mattered until recently, but with Ripple shooting up to thousands of dollars a coin soon (I hope!!!), I need to get it off the exchange.  Thanks for the tips.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best ways to store Ripple coins for the coming price surge? on: September 21, 2018, 01:49:13 PM
I'm HODLing 5420 Ripple coins in one exchange right now.  Following the old adage of "never put all your eggs in one basket", I want to spread it out a bit, so no one major exchange hack will wipe me out.  I've got accounts on 3 exchanges that support Ripple, and I've read about downloading my own wallet on my computer as well.

Anyone got any suggestions for a good wallet to download, or which exchanges have the best security records (AND allow Ripple trading), and so on?

Coinbase shows Ripple "for comparison", I think it's crazy that they don't have it fully set up for trading already, it's the 3rd largest coin and has been all year!
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We've got to organize a pump and dump on Ripple on: September 21, 2018, 01:43:14 PM
I saw the price starting to pop up, so I quickly got a few more XRP, HODLing 5420 now.

If it rises legitimately, that's good too.  All I care about is pulling as much PROFIT out of Ripple as I can.  I don't want a job anymore, work sucks.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / We've got to organize a pump and dump on Ripple on: September 17, 2018, 01:11:43 AM
I'm HODLing 5000 Ripple coins now, and will buy more as the price drops.

Sometime later this year or early next year, when coin prices begin their next surge, we've got to put out some news stories and do whatever it takes to make Ripple the new hot coin, to send its price sky high so I can make the most profit possible.

What about the coin itself?  Who cares?  This is all about making money for me (and you too, if you're smart enough to buy in on Ripple while the price is dipping low, preparing for the next breakout wave).
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to store Ripple coins, in my account or download a wallet? on: September 08, 2018, 12:29:30 AM
Is the toast wallet reliable, as in Bitcoin Core reliable?  I'd like to spread my coins over several storage places instead of HODLing them all in one spot.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best way to store Ripple coins, in my account or download a wallet? on: September 07, 2018, 02:18:38 AM
During 2018, I've been mining on NiceHash and trading my BTC for XRP on the Bittrex exchange.  I have about 4200 XRP, all sitting in my Bittrex account.

I've been wondering if it is ok to leave it there, or would I be better off storing at least part of it in a downloadable wallet?

Are any exchanges besides Bittrex dealing in Ripple these days?  I have Coinbase and Gemini accounts, but no XRP there yet.
155  Economy / Goods / Re: Whats the going price on 1060s these days? on: July 12, 2018, 03:26:08 AM
I guess I'd be ok with $210 per GPU, since they are used but work fine.  $100 per power supply (Corsair 850 and Corsair 950), Maybe $175 per motherboard/cpu/RAM combo (gigabyte board with 4GB and Pentium dual core), $25 per HP 1200 watt server PSU and both breakout boards with all their power cables for $100.  I'll throw in the hard drives with Windows 8 already loaded and running if someone buys the whole deal in one shot.

All in, for 9 GPUs and everything to make it turn key, that adds up to $2590.  I spent significantly more to get it all together.

Will take cash or bitcoin, you can come see all the gear running if you're in my area.
156  Economy / Goods / Whats the going price on 1060s these days? on: July 08, 2018, 03:19:38 AM
I stopped mining, Nicehash wasn't profitable enough with my electricity rate anymore.  I have 9 EVGA 1060s and a Zotac 1060, all 3GB, all in excellent condition.  I want to sell them all.  I also have 2 Corsair 850 power supplies, and 2 HP Server 1200 watt PSUs with breakout boards and power cables.  All gear is near-new and never overclocked or modded.  2 Gigabyte motherboards, Pentium Dual Cores, stock coolers.  4GB of RAM per board.

USA seller, Western Pennsylvania location.

I see a ton of 1060s on ebay, and I could list mine there, but I'd rather not lose 10% to ebay fees on top of the discount price I'll probably have to let them go for.
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: I sold off all my Bitcoin today, and you should, too. on: June 23, 2018, 02:24:54 AM
I don't KNOW the best time to buy back, I can only guess like the rest of us.

If we all sell, it'll dip the prices, so we can all buy back cheaper below 5000 and ride the profit wave!
158  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: The Squeeze is comin! [official thread for panicking] on: June 23, 2018, 02:17:18 AM
40 EXAHASH of mining power .... fucking insane.  And the sheer rate at which more miners keep coming online is crazy.  Blokforge has S9s at $700 now, they were over $4000 6 months ago.

Adding even 100 Terahash of mining power to your farm is like throwing a hot dog down a hallway.....

159  Economy / Speculation / Re: I sold off all my Bitcoin today, and you should, too. on: June 23, 2018, 12:08:14 AM
I'm not expecting a huge drop, but if I sell at 6000 and buy back at 5500, then that is still more money for me.  And more money for me is more money for me.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: I sold off all my Bitcoin today, and you should, too. on: June 22, 2018, 11:35:12 PM
Bitcoin prices are about to shit themselves, big time.  Lots of bad news today.  I went to my account and moved to cash.  When it looks like things have settled, I'll buy back in at a lower price and make more profits.

For now, SELL YOUR BITCOINS!!!

Looks like you registered your account recently and bought the bubble at the all time high.  If you're selling now, I have to wonder if this isn't the time to be buying.  Wink

Incorrect.  I've been here for years, since 2013, but stopped using my original account.  Made this one more recently.
