141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]: NoahProject - Creating a borderless world on: May 18, 2018, 12:31:02 PM
Noah Coin is trading on HitBTC and Changelly exchanges.

For you to get insights of the market situation, we've made a two-week report on our Coin performance. We took all the data from https://coinmarketcap.com/.

The whole market trading, including Bitcoin, volume fell. The drops in its values entailed the decrease in the indicators of other altcoins. But this market situation can play into your hands. You can regard this down-trend as an advantage and seize the moment to buy your Noah Coins at lower prices. Experience has shown that many coins traded under USD 1 rocketed one day and we believe that our NOAH will fly to the moon, too.

The full report on how Noah Coin has been trading over a two-week period is now on Medium. Jump to read.

The face value of a coin does not have a direct correlation with it's potential IMO. There are enough shitcoins that are worth more than 1 dollar per coin.
You'd just apply the same criteria as with other coins, look at the people behind the project.

Ask yourself if that particular coin has a reasonable development plan and goals. Try to find out what its potential demand will be. How many people would be using it?
Yeah, face value is just more like a tag. Honestly, a coin may be $0.1 and still overpriced because it really does not have any value or something to offer in the real world. Anyone who is investing in any coin should be targeting the real life usage of a coin in the long run because that is really what is going to make the demand for it sustainable and not just end up as some pump and dump coin which I believe that is what most inexperienced investors are just chasing after.

What's your opinion on buying new emerging coins that are not yet on top and cost less than 1 dollar?
How do you decide whether they have potential to grow or not?
Obviously, to know if a coin is going to be having potential, you have to take your time to do due diligence on the coin. Check the activeness of the team, check if there is a product that can drive the value up, and check if there is a possibility of seeing a future for the coin or token from all the plans set out by the team. These are the things that make it valuable in the long run and not the price and that is one thing a lot of newbies usually do not get.

I believe that's true for long-term investing when people pay lots of attention to the real use of the coin. Though most think about  to buy and then sell when the price is higher

Yes of course it's a hope in all emerging coins because the coins we see today in the top rankings were once on root level with no value and they grew up with a blink of an eye. So never judge the coin by the current price and value.

You people should understand better that this is not about the price of each coin but it is about the market capitalization of a coin or its value as a whole. There seemed to have lots of coins under $1 here but in reality it is already expensive. Try to look at the details of the coin guys before saying anything.

Yes, sure. Agree with that completely. Market cap is very important indicator
145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is worth buying coins under $1? on: May 17, 2018, 02:35:36 PM
The less price a token has the greater the chance to gain a big profit. If you bought a currency which is less than 1$ and pump to 2$,  it will result to x2 of your investment. But i must prefer you to buy the cheapest to high chance for big gain profit

Yes, but at the same time it may never go high, if the project isn't very good. This it's very essential to select the best ones Smiley

Now lad, this could be the good time to take an in-depth observation in the TA. What coins are you exactly planning to invest at? It better be not another shitcoin.

Ranks of the coin isn't a proper indicator that you're investing at a good coin but the aim of the coin itself and its legitimacy. The legitimacy of the coin is quite complex to know and you might still end up in a "pump and dump" coin that won't be so good to invest at.  Determining the potential of the coin won't be that hard to look into if you're just taking time to observe it.

- Look for a counter-coin for it. This is cryptocurrency, there are different and quite similar coins out there. You never know that there could be the same coin as the coin you're investing at. Take time to look for alternative coin for it.

-Price movement in the TA. Not the just the ups are what you're gonna look into at. Consider also the dumps/downs happening in that coin. If you already know that the coin recently went too far up in its early stage, it could be a good coin to buy in large quantities.

-Activity of the tradings. You are a trader, presumably asking for questions in Trading Discussion. You know that you're gonna buy and sell, therefore you're gonna need a buyer and seller. If you know trades aren't active that much in the different exchange sites that supports your coin, then better quit it before it digs down even deeper in price.

Thanks a lot for such reasonable and comprehensive opinion. Indeed a person should investigate various factors, market situation and trends before buying anything. especially when some coins can be simply pumped.

I usually invest in currencies under $ 1 and usually do not invest in high-priced currencies. Because the currencies are high, the price difference when the fluctuation occurs is very low => not profitable.
The $ 1 $ altcoins will fluctuate more and it will bring a lot of profit.

Thanks for sharing your view. Yes, the market can be extremely volatile and it's not pleasant to loose much during such periods (if to talk about high-prices coins)

I decided to invest depending on its project and the team behind on it because whatever the price of the coin it is, if the project and team is a good one it will always help this coin to climb up in the future. We only need to be patience and support this coin so that we didn't missed any opportunity that we may possibly earned even, it is a less than 1$ coin it will also have a big possibility to a high demand in the market and we can earn a huge profit just hold it in the future.

That's absolutely true about patience. Indeed it's almost impossible for a token climb up to the moon just in one day - it needs some time. And it's good when a project has the supporters that understand that and don't try to sell their tokens immediately

most of the good projects is being dumped by bounty participants and that dumping results to the undervalued coins. i do bagged some high potential coins before like dent coin and that makes me rich Smiley

A very interesting point of view. Yes, bounty can create some sort of the hype around the coins, but don't think they actually dump it
151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is worth buying coins under $1? on: May 16, 2018, 08:41:42 AM
my way of distinguishing a coin that will have potential is to look at the white paper and look at the coin or token sales process, it would be worth it if I buy a coin at a price below $ 1 as it could give a higher chance of increase, especially in the long term.

Thanks for your opinion. Indeed whitepaper is important - if there is only 'water' that's the sign Smiley

My point is that rome wasn't built in a day and each project start with something - but may rocket in the end

Yes, it is worth buy coins under $1. Price doesn’t matter, what matter the most is the project itself. I usually look at the white paper, product, roadmap and development rate to determine whether it is worth buying its coin.

Thanks for your opinion. Agree with you, especially concerning the project - I believe it should really solve some challenges for people. Otherwise, there won't be any practical use and demand for it

You cant just look at token price. There is alot more to it, project, team, etc.

Yes, of course. If that's ico token. But what about already traded cryptos?how will you choose buy/not to buy?
Probably explore coinmarketcap can be very useful
155  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is worth buying coins under $1? on: May 15, 2018, 08:43:42 PM
if a coin has a high potential it is very feasible and if you have a large capital and buy lots of coins at the price of $ 1 it might be profitable

Right. The main point here is to choose the right one. Who knows maybe in like a year this $1 will get by several times more Wink
156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is worth buying coins under $1? on: May 15, 2018, 05:20:12 PM
I believe that if we need cryptocurrencies, that does not mean we need more than 1,000 currencies.
The price of a currency does not matter as much as it offers to society or solves a problem.
Before you start investing, you must have clear answers to the following: Read the code, its advantage, the developer team, the solutions it offers and future vision. Otherwise, it is a useless version of Bitcoin."The success of Bitcoin does not necessarily mean the success of its alt."

I like very much how you explained it. Totally, right - there no no sense to have the coins that are useless.

Often we hear about the blockchain technologies disrupting industries such as investment, finance, data security or healthcare. However, for many people living in developing countries and unfamiliar with bitcoin and latest IT trends, the concepts of “blockchain” or “digital currencies” seem to be not just ‘terra incognita’ but also an impractical innovation. How can blockchain be applied in their real life and solve vital problems?

This looks like an aggressive project, having friends in the Philippines and my Brother, I know of the great amount of people who work overseas, I like what Noah is doing to assist in that area. I'm assuming the purpose of the City and Resort, is to increase the usage of the Coin, which in turn, if enough is being used will increase the price. The city which as I understand it is being constructed now, not sure at what stage, but this wil take some time, but at less than a penny a coin, I might get some and sit tight on them, see where they go, best to you Noah, thanks.

Hi! Yes, the Noah Project is in active development stage right now. The City is being built as well (plan to finish it by 2025.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask)
