141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Another Coin Take the Crown? on: February 15, 2018, 10:36:06 AM
No. Bitcoin is the main coin and it is impossible for another coin to overtake it.
Ethereum is so centralized it will not be able to overtake Bitcoin.

It's the first coin and would be very difficult to unseat it if even the alt is very good.

If you try to send Bitcoin to an invalid/nonlegit address then it won't work.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any further Bitcoin fork? on: December 19, 2017, 05:23:05 AM
Hi,

I read some articles on Bitcoin Super and Bitcoin Ultimate. Is there further any fork of Bitcoin coming soon?
When will we get Bitcoin super?

There are always goign to be Bitcoin forks. 99% of them will amount to nothing, though.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is 6Th Largest Currency by Circulation on: December 05, 2017, 05:20:34 PM
Some people aren't calling Bitcoin a currency anymore. It is being called a store of value. I don't know what to believe. Huh
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You Think an $8000 Bitcoin Price Is Cool? Wait Until We Hit $12000 in January on: November 21, 2017, 10:11:55 PM
it is all speculations. if the other way happen and the price become falling by january you will say another thing entirely. I have had people saying different things just few weeks ago when segwit2x was canceled. some were saying btc will fall back below 4k but here we are today the price has pump up, the thing is that cryptocurrency market is not really predictable. I cant imagine ETH is going so high since few days back. market change in a zig zag manner.
Bitcoin value was so unpredictable, for now bitcoin value was so expensive but we don't know what possible happen in 2018, maybe bitcoin value increase or else crushing down. But for me I still believe in bitcoin, since I fully trust bitcoin I believe that their price will reach $12000 but maybe not today or this year, maybe in the following years.
Its hard to believe that it would easily go crash it price since im trying to look on its chart it do really have strong supports which would not go back down on $6k price but well anything is possible to happen in bitcoins price knowing that this thing is really volatile depending on how the community would able to move its price. Demand would be the key here on shooting up for 12k or even more but talking on january next year seems too short for that price range.

That's right that's what I've been trying to tell people. Some people have been comparing it to Tulipmania which is a joke because you can make tulips. So you can inflate the value of it dramatically.Whereas with BTC the supply is finite and the supply is released with a deflationary monetary policy where it's halved every four years which just makes it more valuable year after year.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: November 21, 2017, 02:10:57 AM
Crypto is both. Well, bitcoin is anyways. Because BTC is sound money and it's store of value is the best that exists one can use it as an asset. But it can also be used as a currency. However, it is not at the payment network level it should be to service the whole world, but it's getting there. Rough consensus is a process and it takes time to review code, give peer feedback, etc
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: November 17, 2017, 05:07:17 PM
The recent bitcoin price volatility is particularly large, but the price of eth has been very stable, you choose to buy eth or bitcoin?
 Tongue Tongue Tongue
I like both of them. ethereum is good investment and bitcoin is too. I use eth to send small transaction because the fee is smaller. If I want to send big amount of  money I use bitcoin. The fee is not problem if sending btc in big amount. Eth is good to invest in ICO.However most of my bag is eth.
better to have that both because they are both good and there is no wrong holding that two but if you choose only one of them bitcoin and ethereum i may choose bitcoin that i know this is was proven and tested for you to have the huge amount of money in the future.

I choose to hold BTC because it is far superior than Ethereum. Ethereum is in absolute shambles right now. Vitalik Buterin is getting absolutely rekt in social media right now. This is what happens when you centralize systems and give authority to a child. He was 13 when the 2008 financial crisis happened. Now he is defending child pornographers that are the CEO of BCH. It's tanking, BTC is in another world.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Social Experiment on Bitcoin on: November 10, 2017, 02:19:37 AM
Bitcoin is the biggest social experiment that exists hands down. It started between two peers and now there is a huge network of millions of people all over the world and they're all agreeing on the state of the ledger every 10 minutes. The ledger is the blockchain of course. So this is amazing that people keep agreeing on consensus rules without knowing the other person.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people attract for the BitCoin than other crypto currency? on: November 08, 2017, 09:09:19 PM
Because Bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency that actually works. It solved problems in money and computer science so it was better than gold and fiat right off the bat, but because people copied some of Bitcoin's code and marketed it as something better, fools believe that. There are a lot of people who think America is so great and therefore they're used to centralized systems. Not anymore.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: November 07, 2017, 01:47:40 PM
Ethereum is on it's way out sorry to say. Actually I'm not sorry to say, it was a speculative thing from the beginning and the only thing that came from smart contracts on the Ethereum network was the DAO hardfork and all these shitty ICOs created with the ERC20 token. Smart contracts existed before ETH and they exist today still. Multisig is a smart contract, that was BTC 1.5
