ahah this crazy dev even found the time to code a discord bot...!! So now it's faucet / lottery / tipping frenzy on the discord ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) 5 upx every 16 hours for free, let's hope it won't attract too many beggars/dumpers Yep, I got 10 UPX richer already ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) But it is a nice start. Especially if you contribute somehow to Uplexa, someone might slap you with a few grand of UPX.

guys, what sites are you using for check the best profit?
I used profitbot pro, but the owner close website, now i'm check the cryptunit but i need more coins to compare.
1. With current situation in crypto, it's more important to be able to sell what you mined. 2. The other option is to just mine and wait for bump. 3. Having real-time info on profitability can be quite inaccurate, because if 1.

i can do an instructional video on how to set up vps with open host but itll be more steps etc im sure quantum leaper can give up his thoughts on vps setups to use. Vmware may have a free tier too but again more setup process. I'll look into the vps thing, but I (and I guess many others) will be greatful for a quality instructional regarding node and vps set-up in regards to UPX. Where can we find yours when they come available? Hi ! I'm sure QL will post something when announcing the launch of the Utility Nodes ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) He or some kind community member. I'm just hoping the Team will find a way to avoid the usual hassle about setting up masternodes - or eventually launch some one-click hosting service simultaneously with the UN launch! that might be a smart move, and definitely a giant step towards non-tech-savvy people. Let's not forget that those people are the future of crypto... In the meantime, no need to stress out about this, if the "IoT principle" is applied, one should be able to host a node on a raspi or some small-cheap vps as well. This would be amazing the only issue is trust nide hosting gets scary because one host can potentially access plenty of coins. If uplexa themselves did it that would be amazing but then the cost would be huge to host a seperate node for each person who may wish to host one plus offer some sort of security guarantee. But it would be a welcome departure from everyother crypto project that makes it soo soo hard lol it would scare noobs away for sure even if there are instructionals Yes, as everything else, the first time it seems difficult. Maybe we can then implement a test node network. There everybody can create a node for himself only with 10-15 coins, just to test how it works. Then he can implement a real one for the full price. Also, I'm sure Devs will add Linux, MAC and Windows versions of the node. Then we can create 1-click scripts for popular VPS providers, where the node is created easily. Plus the video tutorials proposed by Korifeetxs ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Recently, there has been a lot of talk about the problems of scalability, centralization, efficiency and vulnerability of the ethereum blockchain,so I decided to offer a very simple and clear logic for solving these problems.
We form a group, for example, of three parallel chains with mirroring of all transactions but with different mining algorithms using hash fragments from several blocks along the time axis (time protector) and mining fragments of hashes from blocks of parallel chains (synchronization protector).
A network is formed by a set of chain groups scaling performance with a common native token, shared addressing, reward shared evenly within the network divided into groups, for example, 2000 groups of 3 parallel chains get 6,000 chains in total, with a block time of 15 seconds, we have about 30,000 TpS of performance.
It is worth using a deposit contract to authorize miners for a variety of reasons
Disadvantage:to run, we need at least 6,000 miners online constantly, but for a developed network this is not a problem, it’s backward compatible addressing for platform migration
Benefits:
1. A solution to scalability as addressing will remain backward compatible with network growth
2. Solving the centralization problem since the network is actually a pool and itself shares the task between clients reducing the difficuty of mining and, accordingly, greatly increasing energy efficiency per operation
3. The solution to the storage problem since each chain only stores a piece of data duplicated on other chains, by other mining algorithms
4. Hybrid PoW / PoS mining as the miner authorization deposit contract carries PoS function
5. The network absorbs the native token inside the network in proportion to the growth in the number of miners, which will be the balancing act between the inflationary and deflationary models.
6. Hybrid multi-algo mining that will solve the conflict of interest between manufacturers and owners of various equipment
7. The network is resistant to attacks such as attack 51, quantum computer, and so on.
Many associated economic and logical benefits ...
I would be grateful for your opinion and constructive criticism.
I like your Idea. Here are my questions: 1. How much would it cost? 2. Who will manage/monitor/develop/fix it? What if some of these people has bad intentions? 3. Isn't it going to make the network too complex?

And that also deserves some bounty ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) The thing is that there are two more months before the release. So I doubt the design is ready. On the other hand, you can always get a VPS and experiment on your own with some other coins. You could even install Linux on a Virtual machine or on a real one and test it at no cost. I'm more wandering about the incoming halving.. how do you think it would it affect the coin's price and development?

It is interesting to see lack of activity here and a ton of posts in the bounty thread. No dev announcements or discussions?

I can hear a lot of UPX millionaires here talking ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) All of you have 2 million UPX!? BTW, how much does it cost at current price to buy 2 millions?

It is resiliant that's right! Is it possible for a noob to implement a utilitynode into a raspberry pie 4? What kind of equipment is needed to run a node yourself? I'd like to get one myself, but 24h power-on is pretty expensive with my standard homepc.
There are a few ways to get it done. Id personally set up a virtual pc host using googles free service or as you say get a raspberry pi. Both options will work veey well but one day as the node gets bigger google will want a few dollars a year to make the storage bigger for the virtual machine. I will make a full instructional video for anyone wanting to set uk a utiliry node. Hi, sounds intriguing... Google free service you say? What kind of service is that? If there's a free way to host utility nodes that might be a crazy breakthrough for uPlexa... I think he means: https://cloud.google.com/free/docs/gcp-free-tierHowever, under "Restricted actions" it clearly says: "In addition to resource constraints, the Free Trial Terms of Service describes uses cases that are prohibited during the free trial. For example, you may not use GCP services to mine cryptocurrency during your free trial." I don't know if that includes running a crypto node.

Hi all,
I setup a xcore node with 500GB of shared space. However, I later saw that it was 500MB which I shared. How do I change the config from 500MB to 500Gb, without deleting the node?

I have a spare PC which just sits there doing almost nothing. If I can turn it to a UPX node without putting Linux on it it will be cool.

erm.. what do I do with my Webchain coins then?
they will become MintMe.com Coins, you don't have to do anything. It's just name change. So all the secret keys etc with still work when importing in Mint.me wallet?

HALVING UPDATE If you did not already know, UPX hardfork regarding our TX Reduction, Block reward halving, and general core updates is scheduled for November 1st, 2019 (block height: 295,550). i strongly recommend updating your wallets for this update, and updates for uPlexa daemons for all pools & merchants are mandatory. read this important news here https://medium.com/@uplexa/important-halving-update-e30013ccac4Any news about Masternodes? When will they be implemented and how much would they cost?

I'm still amazed that best technology has a hard time competing with best marketing.
Old, power wasters as BTC and smarter, but complex, expensive and slow chains like ETH still hold the lead. It is clear that to achieve win on all battleground of this trilema, we still need some kind of masternodes. In 5 years maybe our TVs and fridges will have enough compute power to do the main work while idling.
I hope that marketing will pull more people to one of the great crypto techs out there.

As soon as i am able to i'll be setting up my mobile "farm", i have nearly 30 phones so far and all capable of around 5Khs so we'll see what comes of it.
30x5khs=150khs. Now you only have to calculate how much power they draw. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) And if the phones are free, then you are really lucky. Please post pictures when your UPX farm is installed. I bet it will be an interesting sight to behold!

The GPUs are using way more electric power and you have to buy them. Old mobile phones which are no longer used are free and draw insignificant amount of power. They are small and require no special cooling (if configured properly).
Price is taken from some of the Exchanges UPX is listed at. As you can imagine it varies from day to day.

Are there any node owners here? How often you got rewards? I setup several nodes more than 24h ago, but no one reward yet.
It is very random. My first NKN block took me 2 hours, the next one took 4 weeks. Tnx, I needed just indicative time frames to be shure that my nodes work fine. So, as I understood, the frequency of rewards is almost not affected by technical aspects, but the location of the node influences. It depends mainly on luck (maybe 80%), then on location (how many other nodes are close to yours) and then maybe network latency. I can't understand, better location where more nodes or where less? Now I use VPS in Europe, but no one rewards yet. From what I see the more nodes you have around you, the better. This is counter intuitive for me, but for now it looks like when nodes are closer (e.g. less latency between them) they talk between each-other more.
