141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DOGECoin will go up 3000% again on: April 05, 2014, 07:01:13 PM
I can't believe dogecoin is going to be in Nascar lmfao  Roll Eyes

Dogecoin will never go 3000% again unless Bitcoin will rise.

I totally concur with this statement.

and bitcoin will rise

Of if Dogecoin will rise - Bitcoin will skyrocket! Smiley

Might be happening right now! Optimism in the Wall Observer speculation thread is a dead giveaway Wink

could you post a link to the Wall Observer speculation thread?

I disagree with you guys. Doge is too big to be dependent on BTC, it has its own crowd and fans. BTC is now tainted and no one trusts it because of big time scammers at Mt.Gox.

DOGE should be the base currency for trading at all altcoins sites such as Cryptsy. Everything should be traded to and from DOGE (NOT BTC)
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] What algo will be GPU mined after ASIC's fully take over Scrypt mining. on: April 05, 2014, 06:20:37 PM
Every algorithm in X11 are able to create by ASIC since day one, and it is not high memory constraint like Scrypt. The darkcoin dev also said.
Here is my thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=540160.0

No need to post this, you posted in another topic. The point is what will people turn to while ASIC Scrypt miners flood the market. I give you due diligence to pointing your facts/opinion, but no need to over do it please.

He is actually informing those who voted for x11 instead of Scrypt-N.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DOGECoin will go up 3000% again on: April 05, 2014, 05:41:05 PM
After the race they will dump them anywhere possible. Coins spent doesn't mean they are gone. I will wait for 1 satoshi  Grin

When its market cap will be the same as Hobonickels? Dream on Wink

HE is actually wrong. They dumped the coins BEFORE The race so they could use the cash to buy food, gas and paint for the car. Thats wy DOGE is down in my opinion. They started a cascade selling. They shoud be finished by now and someone is accumulating the coins fast. Just like someone accumulated tons of cheap NET and now its soaring.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Netcoin | Scrypt | **No Premine** on: April 05, 2014, 05:30:04 PM
I want to see NET at 500 satoshis...

Watch and learn how Woolong makes money, very quietly.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Netcoin | Scrypt | **No Premine** on: April 05, 2014, 05:29:28 PM
Turns out the NETCoin block halving actually helped NET jump about 50% if you base it on 164 price yesterday, now its at 225.

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dennis Nedry joins the Netcoin dev team!! WOOOT!! on: April 05, 2014, 05:27:52 PM
so he worked on a dead browser now he's gonna work on a shitty coin ?

netcoin 24 hour volume $ 10,262 HAHAHA
\

While you were being a total moron on this board, NETCoin jumped from 165 to 225, thats a 50% gain. This coin will soon regain its old glory. Zero premine coin.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zetacoin up 400% in 4 days? on: April 05, 2014, 05:24:45 PM
You missed Zetacoin because someone started this thread when it was already 400% up, too late.

Now check out NET, started at 164 yesterday, not up 400% yet so still have time. Used to trade over 4,000 in January. Zero premine prestigious old coin.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zetacoin up 400% in 4 days? on: April 05, 2014, 01:00:24 AM
How does 60 Satoshi to 90 Satoshi convert to 400 and 500%? Its 50% guys not 500%!!!

By the way on March 28th it was 90 Satoshi, so in 6 days it has not moved at all. Just dropped and now back where it was.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AMD HBM technology, is it going to help keep GPU's relevant in Scrypt Mining? on: April 04, 2014, 06:43:54 AM
AMD have more money to throw at GPU Mining R&D, than any other mining hardware buisness will ever have.

if they wanted to they could develop a beast of a mining gpu, just depends whever they think its worth it or not

I seriously wonder why they don't. They could make a huge business out of it and provide somewhat legitimacy to the mining industry by naming a card specially for mining with no video output ports and eventually standalone cards.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your end game if BTC crashes overnight? on: April 04, 2014, 06:31:18 AM
As the title states. Do you take the loss or move it into different investments that would still have a good BTC ratio?

I think I'll put all of my BTC into Ripple for these reasons:

- It has strong financial backing (Google, Andreessen Horowitz etc)
- Disruptive technology without the Gov't heat (Bitcoin exchanges in China are closing, while Ripple gateways in China are opening)
- The technology is everything bitcoin but more (faster, more secure, more functions etc)
- From the above reasons, a high likely-hood of success/ price rise (therefore, making back my losses)

Have you been tricked into thinking Ripple is a scam? http://crypt.la/2014/01/22/unexposing-the-ripple-scam-rebutting-ripplescam-org/

Anyway, those are my reasons. What's your end game?

BTC Hits sub $400 I will use all my cash to buy BTC
Hits sub $300 I will use all my savings to buy BTC
Hits sub $200 I will mortgage our home to buy  more BTC
Goes above 10,000 I will retire.

151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to dogecoin? on: April 04, 2014, 06:27:56 AM
I haven't been online in a few weeks, and while btc hasn't shifted either way too much, I see dogecoin has plummeted. Anyone have any theories on what happened?

Josh Wise, DOGE, Nascar.
Someone is accumulating and waiting for the Nascar media coverage at the end of April, early May. Imagine the DOGE on national TV.
300 Satoshi expected. Just like you shouldve sold when it hit 250, now I should buy at 105 many cheap levels.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SCRYPT-N AUTO SWITCH POOL on: April 04, 2014, 06:03:55 AM
With all this Greedsed crapsh**t going arround and mining scrypt coin multi pool, its time to move over to Scrypt-N which is ASIC scrypt resistance (for now) and its more profitable than multi-scrypt pools.

Just today i made 0.00609BTC/MH/Day by mining Vertcoin (Scrypt-N coin) after exchanging to BTC

So my question is.... will there be a Scrypt-N auto-switch pool?

I cant even find a full list of VTC compatible coins, which is the first step in making a multipool, can you find a list?

So far I see

VTC
EXE
SPA
GPUC
RT2

Is that it? Are all of these compatible? Meaning mineable with Vertminer?
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SCRYPT-N AUTO SWITCH POOL on: April 04, 2014, 05:59:00 AM
Since we all are taking about scrypt-N
is there is any list of the coins that work with that system?
also, I heard about coins that use X11, is there is a list of the coins with that system too.

I wanna make sure I have a place to go when the ASIC destroy scrypt.
thanks

ASICs already destroyed Scrypt, did you find a place to go yet?
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SCRYPT-N AUTO SWITCH POOL on: April 04, 2014, 05:58:04 AM
well, im already developing a project for such task, so sorry  Wink
I admire the entrepreneurial spirit in you, but beware. The vertcoin developers have said that if someone creates an ASIC or multipool for scrypt-n, they will fork and implement some undisclosed new strategies to circumvent them. They will, of course, wait until the projects are well underway to make sure any investment in these projects is worthless.

I love how in Crypto community we brag about the coins being "decentralized" and here the developers are the GOD OF THE COIN and completely and fully, control everything about the coins and could change anything, at will.

And we go wonder why no one wants to accept our coins as a currency despite these "coins" being around for such a long time.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: These new EFFICIENT x11 algos everyone is talking about ?? BULLSHIT or real? on: April 04, 2014, 03:13:05 AM
What he's asking is while you are mining x11 on your 'deliberately inefficient' software and GPUs, are there already those out there with optimized/tweaked hardware and software mining much more than the rest of you right now?

I'm not sure of the answer, but it's an uncomfortable question and I wouldn't be surprised if there are.

Of course there are miners that mine twice as fast but not available to public. Maybe one day they will sell the license for the fast miner, right now they are using it themselves. That's why CGMiner is such a great piece of software, it was optimized to the max and open source. Too bad it stopped updating for Scrypt and The develer Never came back to update it for Scrypt-N.

One way to check for this is to run two, three or four instances and see if the sum of all four exceeds the single miner running. Can someone do that?
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is your RIG still running? Profitable? on: April 03, 2014, 10:02:01 AM
How coin (VTC), that is being mined by some multipools, could be so profitable? I mean in short term (mine & dump).

 it's not.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is your RIG still running? Profitable? on: April 03, 2014, 10:01:24 AM
Dark Nike Young Chick? That sounds like Chinese food from McHammer days.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is your RIG still running? Profitable? on: April 03, 2014, 05:02:36 AM
You could try mining on the BC multipool.

http://blackcoinpool.com/

BC should just die. You cant mine it anymore, if I wanted to buy a coin I would buy BTC, not Blackcoin. Its pretty much 100% premined at this point except instead of one developer 100 people collectively own all the black coins. Everyone buying is just making those 100 people rich. Stupid people do though.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is your RIG still running? Profitable? on: April 03, 2014, 02:24:54 AM
One good thing about DRK is that its not on coinwarz so it doesnt get slaughtered by massive hashrate when profitability goes up.

Bad thing about it is that its x11 which is ASIC friendly.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is your RIG still running? Profitable? on: April 03, 2014, 01:07:40 AM
Hello Everyone, I wanted to solicit your opinion on whether I should shut down my RIG.

So I started Jan 1st, spent $1,500 on my 4x7970 RIG.

I started making 0.30 BTC avg. worth $30 minus $5 daily for electricity my net was  $25/day. (mining alt of course)

Well, I never sold any BTC so it was never realized profit, but by March 1st I had made 1.5 BTC.

Then March hit. Gridseeds flooded the (Chinese) market before ever making it to the rest of the world and profits sank for everyone else doing GPU mining. Scrypt-N showed up but coin developers were very slow in making hundreds of clones so those have not become profitable either.

So... profits for me are down to 0.012BTC day, (BTC is in the $440 range) making my profit worth $6 /day minus $5 in electricity and now I'm down to $1/day which is not worth the noise and the space it takes over and certainly more than what I lose on depreciation of the parts. My RIG as is is prbably worth $1,000 or less (it was worth $3,000 in Jan).

So as of tonight it seems like I need to shut down the RIG.

So I'm here asking any one of you who is in the same boat (anyone doing GPU probably is). What are you guys doing? What are you mining? What is your advise for me?

Thanks!

thats actually pretty good money, whats your hash rate ?

Started off with 4 x 7970 at 2.9Mh/s one burnt out replaced with 6970 now Im at 2.73 MH/s stable. Now I barely make 0.011 BTC/Day so its actually less than when I started this thread this morning, Im at almost zero now when you include how much pools cheat us out of the coins we mine compared to what calculators (coinwarz or the pool itself) show.
