141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: October 29, 2017, 09:50:50 PM
IMO this is the time to invest into ALTs. They are quite cheap, and, if they will behave like the previous year, they could probably rise at the beginning of next year, or during spring.

Mass adoption will be huge after this year. Let's see what will happen if crowd follow rising uptrend in cryptocurrencies.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: October 29, 2017, 09:49:34 PM
Normally a good whitepaper will get me interested and make me invest.
Just make sure to check other details as well, having a good white paper is not enough, I have seen white papers longer than a hundred pages and yet very little is explained in those pages, so a long white paper does not necessarily mean a good one, besides scammers are getting better at hiding their intentions and naturally they are putting attention to the white paper as well.

IMO reading whitepaper should be done first by big investors before investing serious amount. Otherwise why investor should invest something in terms of both money and time?

Hi,

If i have 100USd now what should I invest it in to make about 5% everyday?

Better to check new ICO projects for this purpose.Dont fall to trap of hype projects which promises daily revenue with deposit.

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SLVR: The First ERC20 Token Backed by Silver! on: October 10, 2017, 11:07:18 PM
Hello Silver Holders!

Unfortunately, we were not able to raise the full amount needed to support mining operations and develop a next generation silver backed currency. That being said we still want to deliver on the silver we promised to our contributors. We will be using the silver concentrate available to us from the mine to fulfill the approximately 14,146.06 SLVR tokens we sold during the ICO. We are beginning the process of processing and minting the silver into ingots and bars for storage in the vault. We aim to fill the fault January, 2018.

In the mean time we will be rebranding and redeveloping the slvrmine.com website so that users can sign up and trade in their tokens.

We look forward to continuing this project, even at a smaller scale and will be releasing a roadmap for future developments soon.

If you would like to import the SLVR token into your ethereum wallet use the following:

Address: 0x40b3A458fBC27A63981E94Bf83830f139a0DDc1C
Symbol: SLVR
Decimals: 6

-Thank You

SLVR team

Thanks for new update!

Why do you only consider mentioned 14,146.06 SLVR tokens ? What is your decision about promised bounty tokens?

I send pm to campaign manager:
Code:
Dear Sylon,

I hope there is no problem regarding distribution of silver tokens. Did devs refuse distribution of bounty tokens? Is this due to low raised ico or something other problem? We didnt get any information about stakes of last week too.

Thanks!

i also like to know if slvr ico was a success or no, i hope dev can come and update us because i also not able to get on the website because it not work for i. If 106k raised i wonder what happen with the project because what was soft cap?

Ask your questions on slack channel and Robert will gladly help you with answers. FYI ICO will not get cancelled because of low raised funds.

please tell us how to find out how many steaks we have?

Patience is virtue. Ico is not finished yet and stakes will get distributed after confirmation spreadsheet of Sylon.

Wow! Thanks for this update. Its time to buy more StorJ for sure on the current price it is on its dip price. There might some pullbacks after a rise but checking on the chart this is the best time to buy.

I follow all coins in the bottom points with the help of my tools

One more for you https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-BCY

It is kinda look like USD index which created with taking current value of usd and extracting it from xxx/usd basket. Nice tool but sometimes it can show you wrong way if you dont pay attention to choose right pair for trading.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use a Bitcoin debit card? on: October 03, 2017, 09:02:06 PM
I have 5 btc debit card and using them to withdraw bitcoins instantly as cash are second to none feeling. No shitty, standart rules: need to wait 3 business days and small limits etc
152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chart of the Day | Bitcoin Touching $4400 on: October 03, 2017, 08:59:14 PM
You spoke too soon! The price has fallen back to $4296. It won't break the $4400 resistence line till after the whole segwit2x stuff is resolved - so range trading till November.

And it is still going down as I reply. Its really hard to predict the movement as there are many who are speculating that it can reach $5000 up until mid October before the November split. While others thinks the opposite. But basing on our experience in August, the price plummeted first to $1900 before regaining to a impressive $2900 just a couple of days before the split. I'm optimistic that it will also be case in November. We are barely a month from it so anything can happen. We may see the price going down a little today, but its possible that we can gain $700 is a short amount of time. I'm just sitting on my bitcoin now and hold and observe where the price goes. Its still a long way to go and anything can happen.
If i had good amount of bitcoin i may prefer to sell on this price levels and buy back with gain after fork. But opinions are different, maybe you dont want to risk your hard earned coins with trading.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: October 03, 2017, 08:57:05 PM
Bitcoin has a bright future with offering new way of looking digital  money instead of cash/fiat. But speculations fly around of this market and i am sure that  prices can be on surprising level oneday.I
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rise is over on: October 03, 2017, 08:53:38 PM
btc to 2000 usd for sure

Keep making a sweet dreams Smiley  2000$ level is almost fulfilled with huge, massive buy stop orders which will raise new strong uptrend.
155  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit 5000$ before november?? on: October 03, 2017, 08:51:56 PM
bitcoin was already over 5000$ and bitcoin will reach the 5000$ again but i dont think if it will be before november but im sure 2018 it will hit over 5000$

It touched to this price level and played as resistance level for uptrend. It will test this level again before big making a new trend.
156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - time to buy or sell? on: October 03, 2017, 08:48:29 PM
The Bitcoin trend is very variable so try to follow the news closely and buy when it dives and sell after it has surged
Easy to say, but hard to do, try your best!

Nothing is hard for experienced traders. You need experience,to be in right time and right place.. But experience doesnt come with single day, failing is best part of this road.
157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: October 03, 2017, 08:46:39 PM
Putting all your funds in bitcoin is a big no-no. Maybe you can just put a portion of what you can afford. putting it in some promising altcoins is also a good idea not just in bitcoin. You can trade or you can hold some of it.
Old but gold rule of investing: Never put all eggs in single basket. Diversifying portfolio is good idea but you need a little bit experience to choose right options.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: October 03, 2017, 08:44:27 PM
Bitcoin is previously an worldwide forex. Wherever you are, you can constantly use your Bitcoin to transact with somebody online. When going to other nations and you want to get a neighborhood currency, you can look up on the internet what online wallet supports a withdrawal in that forex. For case in point, in my region which is the Philippines, we have cash.ph which makes it possible for you to withdraw your Bitcoins into peso. I wager there are other countries that has internet site like ours.
The fact is that since the new projects that are now being promoted in oil are somehow connected with the crypto currency, then uniquely Bitcoin will be more and more popular. But I'm still doubtful about the massive use of crypto currency.

I think about this scenario: Some parts will accept bitcoins or other coin/tokens as early adopters and others will follow it like the bonus system of ICO projects. First users always get more percentage Wink
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the world really needs virtual currencies on: October 03, 2017, 08:42:03 PM
Because central banks soon will emerge in the blockchain and a lot of companies creating cryptocurrencies for transactions. they want to have their own token so people will recognize them.
Central banks are useless if society wanna to move in crypto payments. They cant control every single transaction on blockchain. In this case best alternative is creating their own coin which can be controlled by themselves.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Big European disruption coming will help BTC reach $6000+ soon on: October 03, 2017, 08:40:00 PM
Due illegal Catalan referendum by independentists trying to secede from Spain, this will cause a lot of disruption that will spread across Europe. The Euro is already falling while BTC had a nice bull run.

Once again, the global neutral asset shows to be the place to be. You can't lose in Bitcoin, just hold and you shall be rewarded.

$6000 is coming, don't lose your cheap coins.

If there is smelling of war on the world hot money goes to non-risky assets like gold, silver, oil. Noone is going to mind bitcoin as safe investment.Maybe profit will be much more higher but priority is safety of funds.
