So is the Small Time Miner DigiByte Pool pretty much the entire DigiByte network now? I've tried mining at other pools but even over extended time you don't get the correct amounts of coins you would think you should calculating your hash rates against the nets hashrate so it seems like the only place people are getting proper proportions of coins is smalltimeminer.
very disconcerting...
Does anyone see this any different than me?
http://digi.coinium.org is working well for me. I have been running the dgb.Get-By.com pool since the day of the launch. I have only had a single user communicate a concern that the proper number of coins weren't mined: and it turns out that user didn't understand that shares are not coins.

"daddy can I have that" This, is why the new robot is cool Digibyte Toys! We could technically get the Digiman 3D printed for giveaways. But, ya I see what some people are saying about the "angry" look. I might soften the eyes up a bit, but putting a smile on him would look kinda stupid in my opinion considering I designed him to have no mouth. Anything that makes him just a little bit happy +1, I definitely agree -> Digi-Man needs to be inspiring and happy. Honestly, I feel like the solution is making him more EXPRESSIVE, and not actually "happy". Some type of moving facial parts. Eye-brows, as eye-brows can be extremely expressive, should at bare minimum be movable. This way it will be easy to rend the Digi-Man in a plethora of different poses with the correct expression for the occasion. Just my two digi's. bman3 is working on changing the eyes a bit. Should make all the difference. Good Deal The hands need work too, less alien-in-a-suit-y and more roundy-linky-like-a-fun-robot >.< That said, what I didn't say was: I have done some modeling in my day, and bman3 did a great job that surely took considerable time Don't let my nit-picky-ness persuade you that I don't think it's super-cool, very professionally done and appreciated

In terms of being a bridge between new users and the crypto world I think doge has nailed that perfectly. It may be better to push for DGB as a more serious currency. just my 2 dgb
Doge appeals to a very specific subset of the population. A subset that happens to be over-represented in the current crypto-community, sure; but by no means a subset that represents the general public.

Hope you have some beasty anti-cheat protections in place. If this hits an exchange and gets a little value, it will make Diablo look bot free.........

now appears but continues to give another address new account and my balance is 0
What version of windows are you using? If its giving you an address then its making a wallet.dat file which should be in the directory that I gave previously. If you close the DigiByte wallet, copy the .dat file to that directory, reopen the digibyte wallet you backup address should be there. If you don't see the .dat file in that directory my only guess would be your version of windows is old and storing it somewhere else, but thats just a guess. I'm much more a linux expert then windows. Windows 7 So! I think there should be a little explanation. You may know all of this, but just to be thorough, it should be gone over. There are two distinct "wallet"s. The first the program that executes on your computer. This is also known as the "client". It consists of the digibyte-qt.exe executable that you run when you see your balance. The second is a single file that is created the first time you run the program. It is a file called wallet.dat. This file is normally stored in the directory: C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DigiByte. It is important to note that the "AppData" folder is often hidden by default. This may be why you are reporting that there "is not anything there but also can not copy or paste anything to this location". In order to un-"hide" this folder you have to click "Start", type "folder", and click "Folder Options". Then click the "view" tab, and if you scroll down you should see a setting to "Show hidden files, folders, and drives". When the digibyte-qt client program is started, it will search the AppData/Roaming/DigiByte folder for a wallet.dat file. If there is no file, it will create one (thus the 0 balance). If it does find one, it will load it up. So, what you need to do is run the digibyte wallet once on the new computer. Then, close it. Now you should find the AppData/Roaming/DigiByte folder, and inside of it a wallet.dat file. You then copy and paste the backed-up wallet.dat file into the AppData/Roaming/DigiByte folder and start the digibyte-qt.exe program again. This time it should identify the backed-up wallet.dat file and load up your existing wallet. Hope that has helped works was as you said. Thank you You are very welcome

... When I say $1/hr I don't mean set it forget it $1/hr. I mean work for an hour, get paid $1 I only get 90 kh/s so I get around 700 DGB a day. You do deserve more than what you earn though I'm sure it's a real hassle. Nah, the joy you get when you help people figure things out and such more than pays for the hassle. Also forces me to stay reasonably up-to-date on what is going on around these parts

Or, if your technically gifted, have absolutely no life, nerves of steel, love getting DDoS'd, and have a great sense of humor; you could start a mining pool Actually, on second thought, it is really a labor of love. I make about $1 USD/hour running Get-By lol Your better off mining, lol. Nah, I think I'll avoid all of that mess of running a pool and leave it to you. You're still making more than me though. ... Why stay awake? I intend to hold onto my DigiBytes until I can buy a house with them. And I don't mean trade them for BTC which I trade for fiat to spend the fiat to buy a house. I mean, "I will give you _ _,_ _ _ DGB for that there house", "Sold!" Haha, well said. I need to invest in a new GPU so I might be able to say the same one day. I have
addnode=74.208.230.160 addnode=31.220.25.91 addnode=184.155.218.183 addnode=24.119.23.61 addnode=70.196.193.231 addnode=198.98.118.241 addnode=142.4.204.115 addnode=23.90.191.58
In my conf file, still getting sync issues on the wallet, anyone know any fixes?
Odd, I have had my personal wallet on the default addnode's since launch and have never had any sync issues at all.

Hi, still no luck in mining digibyte.. I want to mine here -> http://dgb.get-by.com and using the cudaminer.exe. I guess its probably in the command line so here it is.. cudaminer.exe -H 2 -d 0,1,2 -i 1,0,0 -l auto,F27x3,K28x4 -C 0,2,1 -o stratum+tcp://dgb.get-by.com:10001 -O worker:password also tried with this at the end: -u Username.Workername -p password didnt work.. tried both 32bit and 64bit When launching cudaminer.exe the black window just pops up and goes right away. What graphics card do you have? That would really help. cudaminer.exe -H 2 -d 0 -i 1 -l auto -C 2 Give this a try. He was using a GeForce 6600. I didn't have time to check and see if anyone had fiddled with the drivers and gotten it working, but his miners were throwing software/driver errors, not connection errors.

Yup I have a worker there.. Under the Active there is a cross and under the Monitor there is Off. Should I be logged in all time on that page? I've been trying to run this for 2 days now, pretty mindf*ck*d Didnt have much of a problem mining with cpu elsewhere. Seems to be a common problem from what I read. Stanny..... look at the top of the forum, there is a "My Messages" button. Your Private Messages are in there I am the Administrator at Get-By.com and I am happy to help you get your rig set-up, but I would rather not clog up the thread here -> feel free to respond to the private message I sent you if you would like some help

We are doing some updates to the stratum server at the Get-By mining pool.
Downtime should only be momentary.

So which pool has been the best (most stable/reliable) for dgb? Diff is too high to mine solo with my 4.2 MHS, I'm only averaging 16k a day solo now (2blocks a day, maybe 3) .. Would I be making more in a pool or would it be about the same?
This is a bad return for your hash rate. You can try the pool dgb.get-by.com. After pickaxe closed their pool I pointed my hashs to them. It's a very stable and reliable pool. You will easy get 35K DGB for your hashing power. Thank you soo much lionhead

Wow, Development Account: DQkqGjRqyfsmzFQ27tPK2PNJe7gPZUVm1U amount ~52 000 000 x 0.00000254 = 132BTC = ~120 000$ nice....
Not bad, but hardly enough to pay one tech for two years - in the scope of things, at the moment anyways, there is a long road of development and a lot of manpower hours yet to put into the adventure. That said, I'm still waiting for the "One small step" speech, at which that would indeed be a great deal
