Does anyone know why heshreyt fell on r9 280x. Was 5.5 MH/s now, about 4.3 MH/s.
Don't chenge bat file -thorcoinminer -o stratum+tcp://thor.zeuspool.com:3336 -u ***.* -p *--scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1393167677 -I 15 --gpu-fan 100 --gpu-vddc 1.144 --gpu-engine 1070
be sure to change that nfmin to 5... i forget what time. changed, did not help( It fell because of the increase in the N Factor. Read the OP and then read about what is scrypt-jane (chacha), n factor, timestart and how it works. In short terms the higher the n factor the lower the speed of your hardware because of the change in the requirement of memory for the calculation increases thus reducing performance

Hey djeZo,
I have a feature request, pretty sure it was requested before aswell. Can you please move the feedback out of these forums and onto LeaseRig directly? This way only people who rented rigs are able to provide their experience. I have some noob spamming in my feedback thread calling my rigs a lie, when he never rented from me and is actually on about a different provider... Its not that big of a deal, but it is not very nice and some people might not realize he is on about a different provider and not me...

Cryptopool.eu has nearly 100% of the network hashrate......... PLEASE SWITCH TO OTHER POOLS BEFORE THIS COIN DIES!!!
|
|
|
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT BY
Want some THOR? Get them with us! * Dedicated servers with SSD * 10 Gbit/s network * DDoS protection * Mail support * Backups of all wallets and pools * Professional team working to keep everything running! * The natural choice for mining! * There is a mining fee of 1% and donations are appreciated! can someone plz send me an invite ? thx There is no point in going to that pool. We are trying to spread hashpower across pools, otherwise this coin will die... That pool already has around 80-90% of the network hashrate, we really should not be doing this......
|
|
|
Peeps, the cryptopool.eu has 9.1 GH out of 11 GH on the network. i think this coin is in serious trouble if people dont spread out their hashpower..... Dont let this coin die!! I have already pointed my miners at another pool and highly suggest everyone else does so too ASAP

Anyone has got the perfect CGminer setting to mine Thorcoin on Sapphire R9 280x Dual-X OC cards? Here are settings and only getting 3MH/s for each card, but I know it should be 6MH/s out of my R9 280X: "gpu-engine" : "1020", "gpu-memclock" : "1250",
"thread-concurrency" : "8192", "intensity" : "13", "gpu-threads" : "2", "worksize" : "256",
"scan-time" : "5", "gpu-reorder" : true, "scrypt" : true, "Nfmin" : "4", "Nfmax" : "30", "StartT" : "1393167677"
Windows 8 OS. Running on 13.1 Catalyst Driver. Using Thorminer as posted by OP. (tried upgrading to Catalyst 13.11 beta version 95 and Catalyst 13.12 but respectively, it didn't work at all, kept receiving "GPU failure" message inside cgminer). Can't seem to get 6MH/s of each card or to get it work at all with newer drivers. This is what i use on my 280x Dual X, getting 6.2mh/s each I am using yacminer 3.4.1 You can find a link to it in the thread here. "intensity" : "20,20,20,20", "vectors" : "1,1,1,1", "worksize" : "256,256,256,256", "kernel" : "scrypt,scrypt,scrypt,scrypt", "gpu-engine" : "1100-1100,1100-1100,1100-1100,1100-1100", "temp-cutoff" : "95,95,95,95", "temp-overheat" : "85,85,85,85", "temp-target" : "75,75,75,75", "api-listen" : true, "api-port" : "4567", "expiry" : "60", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "gpu-platform" : "0", "gpu-threads" : "1", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "queue" : "1", "scan-time" : "15", "scrypt" : true, "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "shares" : "0", "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin",

I dont think its the gpu problem, try older driver and see if it work.
Well it would be possible if the cards booted, but none of them POST and only 1 out of 3 is recognised when in second slot, and another working card is in main slot. Anyhow, i already sent em back just wating on the new ones now

Thanks for the tips guys. I tried with different drivers, and with the 7900 still no joy... The risers are fine as they work with other cards, but id be mad to put in the riser the wrong way... The 2 other cards were not posting at all, so i rmad all 3 of them. It turned out that they were actually from a bad batch and they had more ppl return cards from RMA with the serial number ending in uneven number in this batch. All 3 dead ones i had, the serial numbers were ending in 3, 5 and 7. Anyways, new ones on the way, so really hope this story will not repeat

Are you able to manage pools?
Nope rig seen as offline for whatever reason I have tried this again with another scrypt-jane miner from Ultracoin, same issue. I dont know what but i think the cgminer build that is for Ultracoin or Cachecoin is not working with external API access...

@djeZo I have tried to set it up for scrypt jane, but leaserig does not see my rig as online for some reason. If i switch back to vertminer everything is working and lease rig can see my rig. I have tried different miners for scrypt-jane but the result is the same.. Any thoughts?
You didn't configure API parameters correctly, that is my first guess. I though so too, but i triple checked them and even copied the api parameters from a working bat file i use for vertminer bit still no joy. If i launch vertminer or any other version of cgminer that is not scrypt jane with exact same api settings its working fine...

Whoever has hired my rig Minion1 on Nfactor please check your pool. The vardiff is adjusting difficulty every 5-10 secs which is causing high rejects and low shares. I have already sent you a number of emails on this, but please change your pool

Hi,
I just saw this:
> Last Scrypt mining rig was rented for 0.07135135 BTC/MH/day
? who the hell would rent an scrypt rig for 0.07135135 BTC/MH/day ?
djeZo, do you have a bug for displaying this? Are you sure you're actually displaying the price at which rig was rented? Is it possible that you calculate this info wrongly from the rented rig current price (which might be different from the price at which rig was rented)?
And it would be useful if you would display also lease duration and rent timestamp, for example:
"Last Scrypt mining rig was rented for 0.07135135 BTC/MH/day, for 72 hours, at Sun Feb 09 00:49:52 CET 2014."
Looks like someone hired Hendo420's rig for an hour, thats about the right price compared to his second one... but yeah, please someone rent my rig for even 0.03 ;p

only 1,7MH/s, not 2.15MH/s!
Hello. Would you please tell me where you got this speed measure from? I have just checked the logs for your rental of 3H on the 7th, and the average speed through your lease was 2.16 mh/s. Did you take this speed measurement from the dashboard of your pool? If so, you should be aware that the dashboard measurement is not accurate as it is calculated using your submitted shares and does not display the actual hashing speed.

Now we need more providers again. The ones with VTC would be very nice - all rigs rented constantly...
Im gonna switch my rigs to VTC upon expiry of the leases.
|
|
|
How come the number of scrypt rigs has fallen from 180+ few days ago to 110 now only... Seems like a lot of the providers are leaving...

This place has a great potential for scammers as we can see. Try leaserig.net, the guy there has a good system in place against scammers, and i have not heard of 1 person being scammed over there

I have just realized that i hired NunoJTRB by mistake. Can you please invalidate the lease? Thanks
