hopefully this is not about abandon the project?!
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: September 20, 2016, 11:11:44 AM
I think 6k btc is maximum for this ICO.
I can bet will be more 6000 btc

We are missing some hype here... eg. Lisk ICO hype was base on similar concept and success of ETH. In this scenario we got only 150 pages and main drive was huge bonus.
furthermore people don't really believe that decent can reshape Internet and compete with you tube.

btw. I'm in with 50% bonus:)

so 6k can be challenging
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: September 16, 2016, 11:53:02 AM
Any chance to hit poloniex?

Please read the latest Q&A before repeating the same question over and over

Q: “As an investor I think the presence of Waves tokens on different exchanges is vital. I would like to know what went wrong with Poloniex. Was there a conflict? Are there any plans to resolve this problem?”
A: “I’ve responded to this question plenty times, but I should probably just give the timeline of events. So, I think the Poloniex guys are very busy. I’ve contacted them, and have had regular communication with them for several years. When we started Waves, I started writing them. I used the contacts I had, so several emails that I had from them. I asked if they were going to list it. There was no response to this. Something strange was going on. I wasn’t pushy. I thought, ‘if there was some reason they did not want it, then that reason is unknown to me,’ because no one told me anything. I don’t want to guess. Other exchanges came, for example Bittrex. They said, ‘We are interested so we will list Waves.’ We said ‘ok’ because they couldn’t do it on their own. As you know we don’t have an open network yet, so we had to prepare a node. So we did it for them. Then, Poloniex changed their mind and came to us the day Bittrex was launching Waves. Ok, no problem, we were providing everything to them. We gave them everything, and they stopped communication. I don’t know why, and guys, I don’t really want to guess. I don’t care about that so much. I’m sorry, but it’s true. When they decide it will be useful for them, or that they can profit, they will list Waves… I don’t know; ask them. After that, I decided it doesn’t make sense. I wrote them and they didn’t reply. They must have some other ideas… I don’t have anything against Poloniex, although they are doing some strange things that I can’t really support, like with Ethereum Classic; I don’t like that at all. But ok, it’s up to them. What I really think is that exchanges have too much value within the crypto-community. There needs to be a decentralized approach that would reduce risks. Everyone knows what happens to exchanges, to Bittrex, and to almost all exchanges. I don’t remember an exchange that didn’t have issues. There has to be a way to decouple the crypto-community from exchanges. As part of the Waves Platform, we will have an approach that combines the benefits of centralized exchanges with the benefits of blockchain technology. It will be trustless. It allows you to not have to send your money to anybody. You will have access to your funds while at the same time trading them. This approach, an instant exchange I think is important. We want to have centralized matching with decentralized order settlement that will be a kind of competition to existing exchanges. I don’t have anything against exchanges; they can integrate this technology too, when it’s ready. There has to be an alternative at this stage. Its become quite ridiculous; they can do whatever they want; be hacked. We’re working on it. If Poloniex decides finally to list us, I will be happy. I don’t have anything against them. I don’t hold any grudge against Poloniex. I’ll be happy… much more happy than you actually

good and honest answer from sasha.

There is nothing good and honest about that reply.
 1. You have not heard the other side  statement from Poloniex team, there must be something wrong that He is not telling us because Lbry was listed on Poloniex after Waves token was rejected.

2. He has no right to tell one exchange the coin to list or not to list, ETC is on exchange where Waves token is been traded now.

3. To think Waves platform will come online and displace Poloniex will be a really tough task, there is a reason why almost every developers want their token listed on it, there is no doubt we need a decentralise exchange and waves is not. It is more or ripple than any other thing

1.Why do you think this is not honest answer? He explained the situation from his side, obviously polonex will have different story
2.This is only his opinion, so none one has rights to criticise? Moving forward, that's why you have 2 main political parties, to keep eyes on each others and that's why you have whistle blowers.
3.waves already has full node testnet, so I'm not sure what you are talking about

147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Building Blockchain Based App Development Environments on: September 13, 2016, 02:25:56 PM
Hi,

Why is the supply higher than the 100m the ICO stated? Where do the rest of those coins come from / is there more coins to be created?
Thanks

Great question! The excess coins are all from forging by the Delegate Nodes. Hope this answers your questions!

@Wexfgy12,

To elaborate on RiseGal's accurate response to your question, it's the pre-coded rate of inflation in Rise, the block rewards through 'forging' are the incentive to have multiple delegates securing the network. This has been explained in detail in the RISE White Paper.

Over the next 5 years RISE has the following rate of inflation:

Year 1: 15 RISE per block, 115,768,000 Total coins with 15.77% annual inflation rate
Year 2: 12 RISE per block, 128,382,400 Total coins with 10.90% annual inflation rate
Year 3:   9 RISE per block, 137,843,200 Total coins with 7.37% annual inflation rate
Year 4:   6 RISE per block, 144,150,400 Total coins with 4.58% annual inflation rate
Year 5:   3 RISE per block, 147,304,000 Total coins with 2.19% annual inflation rate
Year 6+: 0 Rise per block and therefore 0% inflation.

At the end of the the fifth year there is 0 block reward and transaction fees alone will sustain the network.

This is really unfair, the devs get all the new forged coins now.
That means they have 15,768,000 coins the first year combined with the "9 million to be withheld by the development team" make a total of:

24,768,000 coins for the developers!!

I calculated the percentages and found out that they then have more then 21% of all the coins!  Angry Angry

What happens when you decide to dump a few million coins to raise some cash

Your outrageous developers fund makes this coin even worse then the interest and the bonuses that the banks get!

That's why so many people call this a scam, because they said no more coins before ico enda, but now, they changed the terms, pathetic fucking poor dev team, scammers especially alty, shitty man with drug addiction without penis.

149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: September 12, 2016, 04:09:50 PM
Hello,
Bought in yesterday, still haven't received my 50% bonus.

same here bought within first 3 hours and still saying week 1 not 50%

as they said, the will update everyting later manually...
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: September 12, 2016, 10:07:09 AM
Well, Can dev make clean answer- is right now 50% or just 10?
Come on! Seriously?
End was sunday 11PM GMT on 11th of september 2016!
Last chance for 50% bonus is over now for already 10,5 hours!
Now it is 10% first week bonus.
the OP says 1st day, not first 10 hours . also says 50% bonus only for the first 10 million DCT.
those were the terms set out. the 11pm deadline was only put out (on twitter) AFTER ICO launch.
also allowing more than 10 million DCT to be sold with 50% bonus violates the original terms.
it was a dishonest ICO. have you ever seen an ICO were terms changed after the ICO commenced?
now with 4000 btc they can hire some good devs, but if I was them I'd hire also some good lawyers.

I think, that was fair enough, because for many of us included me the ICO page was not available from the start. I tried participate in first hour, but website was down and I was not in position to stare at the screen for the next 4 hours, family, etc. SO great, they gave me the same oportunity later. thanks

p.s. I am here from the very beginning, when alty threw сloakсoin cashmen and took over the chip. I'm not a whale, I have about 8,000 coins, but I'm with this project until the end! All or nothing!

exactly the same amount and the same philosophy... I had few years to digest ups and dows, now I wish them the best.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DECENT Announcement - Decentralizing Content Distribution on: September 08, 2016, 09:33:28 AM
So from strategic point, none of the founder is a developer which means they will have to hire, which will cost plenty (waves burns $60K a month and they have coders)
and what happens when they depleted the founds?
How long it will takes for the project to go in to production? ETh is present over 2years and they are still far from it.
50% extra on first day means we can have huge dump as usual becouse someone plan to make some bitcoins and move to another ICO.

I like the Idea, but is here space for investors? will the coins gain in value, why?
