141  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Something like ebay, but with crypto payment on: August 31, 2023, 05:50:58 PM
Hi guys,
Do you know if exist something like ebay, but based on crypto?

You may need to be more explicit. Do you have an idea you wish to put up and just trying to survey if such idea has already been implemented? If this is the case, if you come out plainly, two things will happen. You will get better recommendation And or you will get partners who may be willing to work with you. What exactly do you want or has that been answered already?
142  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance is Rolling Out Copy Trading? on: August 31, 2023, 09:57:32 AM
did Binance just announce they're finally jumping on the copy trading feature? I mean, kudos to them for catching up, but seriously? Copy trading wasn't a thing on Binance before this?
Copy trading has been on Binance many months ago if not years. Since I know Binance, I saw copy trading on the exchange, but I do not know when it was introduced.

But Binance copy trading is in future market not sooty market. On all other crypto exchanges as well, copy trading is on future market, not spot market.

Yeah, it's just that Binance uses 3rd party services that are integrated directly into your Binance account. If you want to use the feature, you must first move your futures funds to that service.
Regarding the new futures feature you mean, I think Binance will launch their own and remove collaboration with 3rd party apps so you don't have to take funds out of your account anymore.
Yes, through TradingWagon which is the third-party.

@R1dwanRz, can you share the link to the announcement?

Binance's copy trading can only be accessed via a third party provider like Wunder Trading unlike other exchanges with 1 click copy trading feature.  Also no, not all exchange's copy trading features are centered on the futures market. Bitget introduced Copytrading for the spot market first before other exchanges.

I am new to copy trading but I'll love to give it a try. Does Bitget have a toturial on how to use copy trading on their platform?
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin - PEPE on: August 29, 2023, 09:44:32 AM
I learnt PEPE made alot crypto Millionaires within months and from what I heard, a lot hadn't been a year in Crypto when they hit that luck with PEPE ... like it happened unbelievably to the beneficiaries. So I felt late to the show. But the hype around pepe is still happening so, I went out scouting and to my confusion I met many different PEPEs out there. In fact, Bitget just listed PEPECommunity/USDT pair for spot trading and I was wondering if that is the real PEPE or one of those out there? How do I identify which is the real PEPE?
144  Bitcoin / Meetups / EmpowerX Summit: 1 CRYPTO EVENT, 19 SUPER SMART SPEAKERS!! on: August 26, 2023, 05:19:22 PM
I've had several experiences with Blockchain meetups but at a smaller level. It's usually organized by a few individuals in a location with support from a particular Crypto project they've benefited from or self funded with the aim of driving Crypto adoption. It usually provide a platform for people to come together and discuss how blockchain and Cryptocurrency have impacted their lives and latest developments in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. Then, the hallmark is often an opportunity for beginners to network with those who've gone ahead and learn from them.

Such events are usually very insightful and exciting. Now, I am imagining a Crypto event with global audience with speakers that have not just benefitted from blockchain technology but have made tremendous contributions to driving blockchain technologies that are changing society at every level. And a funny one, I think of how I would feel to know that the person seated next to me is a big "crypto whale" that has "manipulated" the market many time from his bedroom on pijamas. Those are just a few of how far my thoughts flew when I go through the EmpowerX Summit event page  https://www.bitget.com/events/5year/summit  I don't know how many of the legendary's here have seen the event and will be attending at Raffles City Convention Centre, Singapore., Next month, September 12. I have seen interesting panel discussion topics like Embracing AI and Blockchain: Prepare for the Next Generation of Internet, Key Drivers For the Bull Market: Infrastructure or Super App? and others. I imagine the interaction at the real event with some great minds that often dish out insight on this forum.

Shouldn't there be a tag for Bitcointalk forum members so one could have a time to say hello to another?
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that you will be hold till next Bull Run on: August 25, 2023, 11:30:50 AM
I see a lot of potential cryptocurrencies at these times to be honest. And one more thing, I don't believe what is happening in the market right now in the crypto field is disappointing. Maybe for those who don't know much about crypto, this might be disappointing, but for people like me, it's not even an opportunity to buy cheap altcoins. And maybe others can agree with me on this.

So it is very true that those who have extra money or those in the middle class are the winners here because their future savings are sure to be secured. Those who invest in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency are sure of that as long as their crypto is right and bought.

Most of the disappointment comes if the backend intention for buying a particular coin was for short term gains. And so if the token bought doesn't perform as expected, disappointing feels set in. But if one bought for long term holding and have steady income flow, if the market goes dip, they cease the opportunity to buy more.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that you will be hold till next Bull Run on: August 25, 2023, 10:51:11 AM
Although current crypto market situation is very disappointing. Investors also showing less interested investing in new coins even most of new coins are also shitcoins. Altcoins crypto market pumped a little, a month ago but still no impressive movement is found. Wel  During this situation, what are you thinking and how you preparing for next bull run?  Which Altcoins you are planning to be hold untill next bull run?

I've been trying to scout out varieties for my holding, but my presupposition got drawn to utility tokens, tokens with real-life use case mean, tokens that are maybe used to access a product or service. tokens used to incentivize users to use a platform or reward users for their participation in the platform. I recently considered trading exchanges tokens as a good and successful use case in the Crypto space so far.

Exchange tokens provide incentives for users to use the exchange, and they are also used to reward users for their loyalty. They are often used to fund development and marketing efforts, as well as to provide liquidity to the exchange. The performance of these tokens nevertheless have significant impact on the success of the exchange and how investors perceive the exchange. As such, exchanges operators will monitor the performance of their tokens and take steps to ensure that they remain attractive to users.

Now, I have been researching and trying to analyze on which exchange token is worth holding long term among other tokens with good utility then I stumbled on an heartaching analysis by a platform called TokenInsight that claims the Majority of Exchange Tokens Are Not As Profitable As $BTC except for  $MX and $BGB. According to these report's analysis of a number of exchanges token performance, $MX and $BGB are reported to have largest price gains since the beginning of the year, up 234% and 134%, respectively. Others didn't perform so well in terms of price gain since this January. Now I am again putting my eyes like an hawk to see which to pick.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup- Who rules the day, England or Australia? on: August 15, 2023, 09:27:21 PM
This year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup has been almost unpredictable, the group stage especially had my bet slips cutting even before the start of games, lol. Fast forward to round of 16 and I was hitting it right with little efforts.

Now the finals draw nearer and it gets trickier, I just need one correct score to hit the jackpot, you wanna help guys?
What’s your take on the England vs Australia game?

The 2023 Women's World Cup has maintained a highly competitive and exciting tournament thus far, showcasing the growing strength and depth of women's football around the world. I expect England to summount the challenges and to go home with the cup. What jackpot do you mean?
148  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much should I invest in cryptocurrency as a beginner on: August 14, 2023, 08:33:02 PM
You could invest $100 dollar with a consistent DCA or HODLING plan for a 5year duration while you gather and increase your knowledge on BTC trading or other crypto currency investment that could yield profit.
You do not need to have millions before you can invest. Just like what savings is to a regular fiat bank, that's what HODLing is to BTC investment.

This is a good plan actually. Here the risk intake is also less and perfect for the beginners. If you are a beginner your first motive should be to not make losses, rather than making profits. If you master the art of minimising the risk, then automatically in the later part of time you will make profit. But as a newbie your sole motive should be to learn and see how market fluctuates. Holding Bitcoins with some good amount of money can be the best thing.
A beginner should usually be exposed to the benefits first to get them motivated. Now I see a lot of newbies getting into crypto because of FOMO and they get stuck in scam coins or worthless meme coins later on.
It is clear that bitcoin is the recommendation that I always say. If we can hold it firmly then believe that it will bring us profit. The strategy used will also vary, but what I do is with the DCA strategy.
The problem I often hear is that those from beginners sometimes say they don't have that much money to buy bitcoin, they think buying bitcoin should be according to the current price (buying 1 coin right away), but that's not true at all.

I agree with you but I always say, for everyone there's always an entry point into the Crypto space. Some entered by following a hype of a particular token that profited others within a short period and they FOMO in. Whether they made profit or loss themselves, that's for me an entry point into the space. The problem is if they choose to remain at that level. So you see different people grow from whatever entry point they had to becoming experts and big investors.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Sei network(Sei) fast blockchain on Cosmos ecosystem on: August 14, 2023, 01:35:43 PM

This project has been well embraced by many Crypto enthusiasts and investors. It has come a long way and now that there's been announcements of its listing on different exchanges. I anticipate to deposit on my SEI on BitGet for a 10% rebate and to participate in their ongoing Trade SEI to grab a share of $5000 in the SEI listing Event. Which other exchanges has SEI listing event?
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: August 14, 2023, 11:09:14 AM
Meme coin is Highly risky coin. Some time this coin popular but most time very risky this currency.Highly risky coin fall 99% time. One one % chance successful meme coin.Meme coin success profit 100x to 1000x +.So some times life changing chance for meme coin success.i didn't suggest this coin investment.Thay better investment select good coin.meme coin some $ investment profit huge & lose huge.So avoid meme coin.

True, meme coins are very risky but some persons have been very lucky and enriched with meme coins. I haven't myself... still hopeful that one day. The last time I tried, I entered rather late and it dumped on me but a friend invested $90 in same coin and made over $2k. Trying to study the trend of Memecoin, one thing I discovered is those who sometimes get lucky with it are those who bought very early and sold when it pumped. The wisdom maybe to throw in a little $$, an amount you can call spare cash. I am monitoring one HarryPotterObamaPacMan8Inu on Bitget. Such a funny long name it has, it won't be bad if I try with a little $$ and see the outcome.

151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Not A Crypto Trading Tournament Like Having FIFA eWorld Cup on: August 14, 2023, 02:40:25 AM
I have only learnt about some e-tournaments, but not any that had to do directly with crypto traders. On this forum at least, I have learnt about the Roobet contest or should I say drawing/painting/visual design contest. It is for everyone that is a a participant here and perhaps as online customer.
I did a quick research and even discovered that Bitget did something similar by unveiling a crypto kinda trading competition to mark its fourth edition.

This looks a bit more like what I have been thinking .. But what are the modalities put in place to monitor participation? Except for people trading in the demo category,  those participating in the spots, futures Copy Trading and futures will they be using their own real trading funds or will the Exchange also provide each user same trading amount?
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / How much should I invest in cryptocurrency as a beginner on: August 13, 2023, 03:24:52 PM
I find this question as most frequently asked question from newbies in the Cryptocurrency space. So I thought I should share few tips that can guide the decision making.

There are a few lessons that could help you decide these easier.
1. Educate yourself: Learn about the cryptocurrency market. Read articles, watch videos, and attend seminars to understand the basics of investing.

2. Set investment goals: Determine your investment goals. Ask yourself why you are investing and what you hope to achieve from your investment.

3. Evaluate your financial situation: Evaluate your current financial situation, including your income, expenses, debts, and savings. Determine how much you can invest without affecting your other financial obligations.

4. Understand the risks: Understand that every investment comes with risks. It is crucial to know the risks involved with cryptocurrency before investing.

5. Research the company or cryptocurrency: Conduct thorough research on the cryptocurrency you want to invest in. Look at the chart history, team, use case and future plan.

6. Diversify your portfolio: Diversify your investments to spread out the risks. Spread your money across multiple cryptocurrencies, rather than investing in just one.
7. Start small: Start with a small investment and grow your investment over time. Do not invest all your money at once.

8. Be patient: Investing in cryptocurrency can be a long-term process. Be patient, and do not panic if the value of your investment fluctuates.

9. Monitor regularly: Monitoring your investment regularly will help you make informed decisions and adjust your investment strategy when necessary.

Feel free to add some advice and if possible experiences.
153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Not A Crypto Trading Tournament Like Having FIFA eWorld Cup on: August 13, 2023, 01:38:12 PM
First of all Op, this is not a play secondly who said there are no tournaments for trading, most of the new centralized exchanges and other platforms even newly lunched tokens or coins held their trading tournaments with decent rewards and many trades take entries. These tournaments are mainly lunched for marketing. Most of the top tier assets tournaments are held in future trading which is highly risky and the competition rate you can judge traders like me and you cant take part in such tournaments due to low budget or you can say smaller portfolio. that is always used by the whales.

Not that I haven't seen any, I have noticed a few but I think those ones are basically just to increase trading volume on an exchange or a particular token trading volume. That's not more like what I am thinking in my head because with those ones, a particular whale can simply inject a huge some and manipulate the entire thing to win the game. That's what I think of trading volume competitions.
154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Why Not A Crypto Trading Tournament Like Having FIFA eWorld Cup on: August 12, 2023, 01:56:11 PM
At age 16, I attempted to participate in FIFA eWorld Cup, an annual tournament that is organized by FIFA and EA Sports. It is the world’s largest and most prestigious gaming tournament for the FIFA video game series. The tournament is open to all players of the FIFA series, regardless of their skill level.

Now as an older adult and a cryptocurrency enthusiast, it was thrilling to stumble on some blog articles on Crypto tournaments like CryptoWars, a blockchain-based strategy game that allows players to build and battle armies of digital warriors. Players purchase, trade, and battle their warriors using a variety of digital currencies. The game seem to be designed to be a fun and engaging way to learn about blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. But I imagine an event where actual cryptocurrency traders from every corner of the globe can join in the competition to compete for a grand prize. I don't know if there are crypto enthusiast out there already engaging in similar events other than Bets and casino events using Blockchain platforms, that seem to be the popular blockchain events I find around.
155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Web3 wallet trading alternatives you recommend? on: August 11, 2023, 11:16:50 PM
As we know the innovations in this industry are boundless so I tend to tilt towards exploring options, recently alternating Metamask and BitKeep. What are your reviews about the later? and other reliable options you might suggest?
Stick to Open source noncustodial wallets and avoid anything close sourced for keeping your funds. You shouldn't even be talking about trustwallet or Bitkeep here. The recent incidents should be one of the reasons you should never use close sourced wallets

Examples:
1. https://community.trustwallet.com/t/browser-extension-wasm-vulnerability-postmortem/750787
2. https://hacken.io/discover/atomic-wallet-hack/

Well, I am in the Crypto Space for the Technology, thus, I try to explore as many wallets available as I explore exchanges. I have enjoyed the use of MetaMask and trustwallet over the years, for storing tokens and I am still using them when I have to. Recently, I started exploring Bitkeep wallet functionalities now Bitget wallet and the experience have been cool for a mobile wallet. The Implementation of biometric verification to keep funds safe is a  plus. Also, the fact that, one can stake and do margin trading still within same app is well thought out integration. But at different points, one may have personal preference for using which wallet and at a time.
156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Empowering youths can be the quickest route to crypto adoption on: August 11, 2023, 08:56:14 AM
What do you think about this program, do you think other exchanges can introduce similar programs to drive crypto adoption?

Exchange is not the main sector that needs to make a move for crypto adoption because they are centralized. Giving a foundation knowledge on crypto using exchange program will just make the whole crypto idea invalidate since exchange promotes centralized services while real crypto adoption is when everyone is using crypto and holding it on non custodial wallet which they hold the keys.

Empowering the youth is really the key for mass adoption aside from the government stopping from being pain in the ass. Old people is very hard to convince to be involved in crypto since they are on fiat for a long time and they consider crypto as risky asset. Having many programs dedicated for youth will help mass adoption progress faster but not instantly because we will need to wait more generations until those new era is already the majority.

I agree with you but other sectors seem to be avoiding the promotion of cryptocurrency in different ways. Take for instance the Banking sector, they see cryptocurrency as a new competitor in the financial world and might are reluctant to provide information on a potential rival. I my own opinion, they should have been the best sector for the job. However, there is always an entry point into the Crypto space. Mine was when a friend introduced me to earning through spin bot faucets. Twas a crazy, time consuming adventure trying to accumulate faucets into reasonable amount to withdraw. But the excitement to earn a digital currency fueled my passion. I evolved into earning from Airdrops, then the use of exchanges, then investing in cryptocurrency to knowing about and storing my coin in non custodial wallet and holding the keys.

If exchanges chooses to play the role of educating the youths and the masses through their different programs, we can't invalidated their efforts. I am sure it will still translate to achieving the main goal of crypto adoption.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has nothing to do with crime on: August 09, 2023, 01:59:24 PM
Because of bitcoin does not give public details of people who make transaction with it, some people do say it promote crime. People needs to understand one of the features of bitcoin is freedom that anybody can get access to it, it does not discriminate.  The privacy features of bitcoin is very important to humanity,  which I know one of its advantage is for safety by using cryptography that makes all transactions safe and encrypted.

Privacy in transactions of bitcoin is much important,  if their was no privacy it would have cause several criminal attacks.  For those who think bitcoin encourages crime because of hiding  public data of users don't understand the importance of bitcoin being private.  Before bitcoin  started  existing monetary crime have been existing.  Bitcoin is not a reason for monetary crime,  bitcoin is just for everyone and does not discriminate but accept everyone.

Bitcoin does not encourage crime as it is said. Those who say that do not fully understand the privacy concept of using bitcoin or cryptocurrency. However, criminal minded individuals would really appreciate the fact that they could carry out huge financial transaction across country and continent and no financial or security institution can be a barrier and with no delay. I hope you know that if huge financial transaction is made in the conventional bank, it is easier to call the individual for investigation.

We simply need to educate the public what bitcoin and cryptocurrency really is and how it works because criminal minds would want to exploit any opportunity to perpetuate their ill

Still from the AMA

QUES: The more you play, the more you get rewards. Don't you think that this type of incentive might get addiction to gaming?

ANSWER
Gaming is already addictive for many people however this is not our focus. Our focus is to achieve a platform where we have a very high, responsive and highly skilled pool of gamers that will be rewarded for their time. We believe that this will make us a more attractive platform for investors and other gaming companies. Some games are already really addictive even without the incentive. Everybody has to be reasonable how much time they put into playing, need to find the healthy balance between gaming and real life.
