chrome Verzia 71.0.3578.98 is OK with refrehsing F5

but ROB, when you allow withdrawing from pool more like 1000 bbp......thanks

What is your pool handle?  I can only give it to certain people that I trust.

I don't mind looking into f5, Its hard to reproduce when it doesn't happen on any of my 9 computers.

I tried it on more places, more pc's, more IP's, more internet providers, more browsers, everywhere is the same result. Regarding the connection speed maybe its strange to imagine but even in Slovakia we have fibre optic connection :-)

Not sure if it's relevant, but I notice the pool pages use a lot of javascript. When I disable javascript in the browser (which I usually do), all the pages becomes blank. They still have the styles, just the content is missing.

any big exchange?

We are saving up for Cryptopia, they love us.  See pool.biblepay.org New Exchange Fund.

I don't think Cryptopia can come out and play any more...

Nothing against the charity but since i am trying to make a profit here, and i am assuming that this is not profitable, but just giving for a charity?

Nothing against charity. I believe it's possible to be both profitable and charitable, at least for now.

Learn to stack your CPU coins. By that I mean...

I have an old i7 processor, that is mining 4 charity coins (including BBP), one low energy coin, plus dual mining 2 other coins that use both CPU and GPU. CPU never goes above 50%. (Granted some of it is because of the i7 hyperthreading.)

That's six seven coins, at once.

If that's not profitable, I don't know what is.

The key again is to not pit charity against profitability, but reach for both. Charity may be at the heart of it, but profits will draw investors and is necessary for long-term health.

Man, that's one of the most interesting entries I came by on this thread lately. Would love to talk about this strategy, but should as well respect the topic of this thread. Do you mind PM'ing me (apparently I am not allowed to send you a message) ?

I dont believe its profitable at the moment :-) you can have setup for 7 coins or more but you only have one cpu plus gpu performance. I dont believe you can mine more than cost for electricity. Mining in general is not profitable. You can buy more on exchange if the coin is on the exchange. What is interresting for me is mine coins which are not on exchange yet and have still low hashrate.

I'm guessing you haven't done merge mining?

The Dutch pool currently has turned off 42 on their coin switching. I believe they were using Cryptopia.

Anyone know any other pools that will payout 42?

42.

  prohashing.com:

Many thanks! I like their setup, and am pointed at it now.

Edit: Mining Dutch has 42 re-enabled again.

The design of the pool site is fine. I really like the logo graphic.

What could use some help is the navigation.  The first element, About, goes to a sub-menu called About. Same repetition with Home navigation. There's no point in having sub-menus if there's only one item? I see it a lot when it's thought, "let's just put up the structure, and we can add content later." The problem is, the content is always slow to come, and it makes the site look hokey until then.

I'm not a fan that the site's pages appear to require authentication, while my browser is saying, "don't do it, that's not a SSL page".

Myself, and maybe others, are hesitant to speak up due to the flammable nature of some posts. It feels like a merry-go-round, that I wait to slow down so I can get on. But it doesn't seem to slow (the rate of change).

Could you elaborate?  Showing a list of data doesn't tell us what is wrong Smiley

You really don`t see what is wrong?

Is it that the payments have been going down since November?
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN ~ CPU mining ~ Fork of Litecoin ~ 🎁 Litecoin Finance / LTFN 🎁 Bounties on: January 01, 2019, 01:57:31 AM

Post mine are the coins mined after the fork ....

Litecoin cash is not a fork of litecoin it's an altcoin created with different block reward but nothing much.
Again, you can check everything on GitHub (if you can study)

I'm lost...

So... there is simply a 10 milion Litecoin Finance Premine ?

Which is over 10% of supply? This is confusing. I wish when people use non-standard terms like 'postmine', that they would define those terms first.

Let's hope NerdMosby can release an ARM miner for blepool in 2019 !

Check out the discord. I believe it's being worked on as we speak.

Earlier the public metronome was down. All is well now
Thanx!
Can I use a metronome or only the public one?
Are there only btc metronomes or also others?
Do they result in the same mining restart moment?
And last but not least, is there any roadmap for BLE?
What are the plans for 2019?

Here's my attempt at answering based on what I've heard in discord.

1. You can use your own metronome. There are some basic instructions on the github, and it requires enough disk space for the entire btc blockchain.
2. Right now it uses the btc metronome. I read that it could be switched to another coin in the future, if necessary or preferable.
3. They should be in sync, and theoretically I think the local metronome would be a tiny bit faster, and probably better if you're hosting a network on a LAN.
4+5. Don't know.

What's the port on the pool?

-o stratum+tcp://168.235.67.237:<PORT> -u <WALLET_ADDRESS> [-p <OPTIONS>]

Nevermind. Reading the instructions is good.

What happs to this?

Looks like only one exchange with no BTC/WAVI buyers and all sells with the MC/WAVI pair on https://trade.multicoins.org

and the MC thread says they were just doublespend attacked... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1949232.180

and the largest pool  wavi.suprnova.cc says This pool will be closing due to no development of the coin and decreasing interest of miners. Please withdraw your remaining coins and switch to other pools. Thanks.

Death Spiral sound about right?

It looks like the miners from suprnova have moved to other project. Suprnova had ~150 miners, now the largest pool only has 24 wavi miners:(

One of our community members, Frances has written a summary about investing in Crypto called "Absolute Beginners Guide to CryptoCurrency Investing – Frances Doxtator".

Maybe new users will find this useful:

I have added it to our Guides section under Investing on our web site here:

http://www.biblepay.org/userguides/

Nice work. It's difficult to write about the subject, as quickly as things change. For instance, this sentence from the article: "Note that crypto is now in a huge bull market".

I have a question? This currency is mine with the algo: SHA256 gold how is it that the network is not in Th/s? Or is it me who understands nothing?

I believe it's mined with Sha256d variant. So btc Asics won't work with it.

Currently, there isn't even GPU mining yet. It's the very early days of development.

Slovakia, that for sure is the Biblepay paper wallet? The source code makes mention of Litecoin?
