***The XC Daily Update***

Soon XC will add a new layer of privacy based on your XChat address.

XChat addresses are soon to be implemented as "stealth addresses" to which people can send payments.

This means that you'll receive payment on a different address that not even the sender knows.

As such, you can publicly display your XChat address as a kind of cryptographic "business card" for both payments and messages, without anything being linked to it on the blockchain!

Finally, combining this with Privacy Mode will conceal the amounts sent to this address.

Here's to the future!

This is killer feature, I love that we will have one address that can be used for chat AND receiving annonymous transactions. Creative and ingenious idea.
tell me if I'm right.
The address created for the XChat, won't leave track on the blockchain? So payment sent to it, aren't traceable anywhere.
Correct

If a user is unable to fit their Xchat info into their sig space for member rank reasons, would this prevent eligibility for the tor stick contest?

No. But that would be surprising.

Surprise! I can't fit it in my sig space :/.   But thanks for the reply Smiley

I of course did not edit the addresses, and it's beyond me why anyone would try such a thing.

160  Economy / Gambling / Re: Everyone who wants to fight against these Ponzi scams READ THIS!!! on: February 24, 2014, 10:54:43 PM
No.

One ponzi had over 70btc in its wallet yesterday, now 2btc. Nobody ran away, they sent all the payments.

Oh wow! 70 btc you say. pshhh  your thinking small time friend.
They will be waiting for a larger amount to be confirmed to them.

But some smaller ones make take the first thing you send, you can't know.

That is a multitude more BTC than any other bitcoin ponzi has achieved. A scammer would have taken it if this was their intention.

There is over 400btc received by this ponzi, with 1% fee he is making it worthwhile without having to scam.

You have zero proof to backup your accusations.

example http://ponzi.io/

Total deposited (BTC)  348.568464

saw higher than 70 at points.
