141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying food or groceries with Bitcoin on: July 11, 2020, 12:05:18 AM
I don't "think" that in the future it'll be possible to pay at a restaurant using bitcoin; I "know" that it will happen! That is if only it isn't already happening in some part of the world cause I remember a post someone made about how he paid for something in a local store using bitcoin.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are happy only when the price goes up? on: July 10, 2020, 11:59:44 PM
If we are to be realistic here, we'll realise that whether the price comes up or down, someone somewhere is always happy. If it goes down, the happy buyer shouts "buy buy buy", if it goes up, the hodler sings "gain time!". We just choose to see it like there's no advantage to them dips
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There Are Now More Than 8,000 Bitcoin ATM's Worldwide on: July 10, 2020, 11:49:17 PM
This is super! Bitcoin is really spreading out. And when people see it's importance, they'll have no choice but to join this moving train. I'm pleased to see this increment. BTW, I don't think 8k is a small amount.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEWEST Bitcoin rap - Just released "Buy Bitcoin" - (NFA) on: July 09, 2020, 05:59:30 PM
Wow! I was actually working on a rap song. I have some of  the lines already tho it's not easy to make something out of it. It feels somehow when you don't do something you could do then you find someone else doing it... Who ever that sang this, Well-done!! I love it.

Who heard that line
"But you know I'm gonna sleep with it, until we reach the moon. Buy BTCitcoin" ♥

"Buying on the dips kinda feel like I was stealing 'em" ♥

I found this too! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YbzNJr26H-4

145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was your experience trading cryptocurrency? on: July 09, 2020, 05:56:15 PM
and i lost a whole lot of money trading it[/b]

This is the issue with most newbies. Before risking any amount, it is so much advised that you make a thorough research. There are online courses for those who want to trade, you can either start one (and of course finish it) or you make researches and ask experts question. This doesn't mean that there won't be bad times; there could be bad times but it won't be like when you know nothing and just throw in your money.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN] Breezecoin new packages and new real estate projects! 🔥 on: July 07, 2020, 05:34:09 PM
Cool. I love seeing projects that connects the offline world with the digital world. Well done. I have a question tho... Do you aim on listing on more exchanges? If yes, how many more?
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin solve more problems than it creates? on: July 07, 2020, 08:40:33 AM
6. there are already plenty of ways to send money online a lot easier, it doesnt really do anything new
Really? So, how many of these plenty ways allows users to send any amount of money shortly? With bitcoin sending money doesn't need all this documents verification(KYC), high transaction fee, long protocols, etc. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Created an app to promote ₿itcoin on: July 02, 2020, 04:49:12 PM
Like I said earlier, I value every contribution (good or Bad). Also, I've been taking note of every suggestion. Majority says I should add something to make the app more interesting, and some other things like links to more information. I'll implement these and more, and once the app is finalized, I will update the thread. Thank you all.

This part about bounty hunting caught my attention because it's not clear how you want to portray that part of the crypto world? Do you want to portray it in a positive light, or do you want to warn people not to waste their time on such things?

"waste their time on such things" I wouldn't say that. Not all bounties are a waste of time. Some of them are actually worth doing. That's by the way

Thanks a lot! I'd definitely find where to implement this link so people can actually see bitcoin as a currency it is. Thanks again.

Thanks a lot guys! I will put every single idea into consideration.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Created an app to promote ₿itcoin on: June 30, 2020, 06:32:01 AM

#mk4 I have to differ from you with this one, most people are more on their phones these days and it is easier if a App is used for this kind of education. The scrolling for a website on a mobile phone is a pain in the ass, so that is why I think a App is more suitable.  Wink

I like the fact that you are promoting Bitcoin as a currency and not as an investment option, because that is what Satoshi wanted it to be. I also like the fact that you are giving people a motivation to use this App, by giving them several option to earn bitcoins online.

People tend to be more interested in something, if they can get something out of it. (Like the marketers at shopping centers giving free samples of products to get people to listen to them.)  Wink

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked the idea. Actually the app is still under development so, I intend to add more things maybe links to other sites, videos, quiz, etc. I'm glad I'm getting contributions from here.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Created an app to promote ₿itcoin on: June 30, 2020, 05:46:15 AM
I envy you for creating such app that will educate some phone users about bitcoin. But I have a few questions regarding the app.

Most of the phone users who will gonna download the app will find it boring to read it until the end. Are you going to add some excitement or adventure, like some games (e.g. achieving goals and then an information pop up before proceeding to the next level) or some simple tasks so there is still an excitement to read while having fun. What do you think?

Thanks! You make absolute sense and I'll think of something to make it more exciting; maybe a game IDK yet.

No offense, but I feel like having an app is unnecessary in this case. You could achieve the same goal with just having a website. Of course though, I totally understand if you actually did this also to learn to develop apps.

Hello mk4! Try to see it from this direction.
1. A website can't be sent from one person to another
2. You need internet access to get information from websites
3. An app is pretty handy. (I do get my friends come around trying to share my apps through Xender).

BTW, in my country, this is one of the best ways to inform the youth about it. Just that I have to make it more interesting.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Created an app to promote ₿itcoin on: June 29, 2020, 10:13:22 PM
Hello guys! I know I've been inactive over here for a while. Well, I've been cooking something. Promoting Bitcoin has always been the primary goal. There may be secondary goals but that doesn't change what the main focus is. I wrote some codes to create an app which informs and educate people in regards to Bitcoin. In addition to that, I decided to add some info relating to bounty hunting (to make it more interesting for users). However, this doesn't change the main aim of the app (to promote Bitcoin and give a clear explanation of what it is). Most people have always seen Bitcoin as a source of making money but that isn't true. In this app, I also explained that concept of Bitcoin not being a money making scheme but a currency (means of payment) for goods and services. This app is still under development and hasn't been uploaded to play store hence, you'd be warned by play protect. But before I upload it to Google Play Store, is there something you think that needs to be added or removed? Every opinion is helpful!

NOTE: This app is still under development.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin.com forum closes ?? on: June 28, 2020, 09:35:12 PM
I don't get this. Bitcoin.com would be shut down? In what manner? If this is what I think it is then it's a huge problem and doesn't speak well of bitcoin as a currency. People who don't believe in bitcoin would just add it to their jotter so they can always use it against bitcoiners (especially newbies)
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A lot of Americans still don't know what Bitcoin is on: June 28, 2020, 09:29:13 PM
The knowledge of bitcoin isn't based on race or maybe gender; even in my country, a lot of people don't have any clue while some haven't even heard the name before. However, we must do our best to inform them.
