141  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com stole hundreds of thousands from me ilegally on: May 17, 2023, 02:28:36 PM
It just seems that he doesn't want to follow the advice you are offering to him in this and his other thread about this same topic. I understand that he must be angry if he had problem withdrawing "thousands of dollars", like he stated in the Opening Post, but if he doesn't provide more details or keeps ignoring your tips...
We can not force anyone to follow our advice. We can only suggest, and the rest is up to them. I saw he wrote some detailed information in another thread. But he did not bother to edit OP and add what he wrote there. There is no way we can verify whether he is telling the truth. It seems he deposited a lot of money, so he wants to fight against Stake by appointing a lawyer. Let's say his case is true. But there is no way we can verify it without any proof.

Also everyone, please watch the first minute of this video of Eddie streaming:    https://youtu.be/0l6liFJNW8U

Someone asks: ''Are you Aussie'?

Eddie Replies: ''I'm Australian, From Melbourne"

Now this is why he is playing stake, which cannot be accessed from Australia
He is the owner, and you are a customer. He can be from anywhere. If his license doesn't forbid ownership from Aussies, there is no problem. He is Australian, From Melbourne doesn't mean he lives in Australia. It's not impossible that he may live somewhere else right now. Let's say he lives in Melbourne, Still, he is the owner of the platform, and he has special access to play on his platform for promotion purposes. He doesn't have to play on his platform to make money. He does it for promotional purposes. When you signed up to their platform, You agreed to their TOS. Now don't say just because Eddie played in his casino, I will do the same. He is not playing with real money. But, you do. He can create his balance out of thin air and you cannot. So, Don't compare him with yourself.
142  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ NowDice.com 🎲 Low House Edge 🎲 NO KYC! 💰 Jackpot 💰 on: May 17, 2023, 10:49:02 AM
There are a lot of suspicious things in NowDice.com. There is a high chance that NowDice.com will end their journey by scamming the users in the near future. Here is the reason why I'm thinking it.

  • The website is very simple, the administrators haven't done any hard work to build it.
  • The terms and conditions of the website is quite funny. There is nothing about cryptocurrencies, deposits, withdrawals, user account etc.
  • NowDice is using bot to keep the chat alive. They are trying to create a fake impression of gamblers activity by keeping the chat active.
  • There are more than 21k followers on their twitter account. They have made only 2 tweets until now. So, it is clear that they have bought followers to create a fake impression.

I will be surprised if NowDice.com run for a long time without closing the website suddenly.

@panjul07, @Jawhead999, NowDice is asking for a little extra amount on deposits, but it isn't 20% of all deposits. Try to check it with higher amount in BTC or any amount in altcoins.

Interesting. I just signed up on their website, and I was amazed by their simple UI and simplicity of the website. However, Considering the fact you have shared, it's highly possible. When I registered on their website, I saw a log of players chatting, all incognito. I asked two questions, and no one answered me. So I returned to this thread to see if people noticed that. Wow, I am surprised. Why must a legit casino create chatbots to keep the chat active? I also believe their intention is not good.

A Legitimate casino won't buy Twitter followers to create a fake impression. I was surprised to see the number of bets placed and the amount wagered. I am pretty sure they are fake as well. Another thing is, I guess we rarely see a casino's Minimum deposit amount higher than their minimum withdrawal amount. Their minimum deposit is $100, while the minimum withdrawal limit is only $10.

BTW, I don't see any reply from their forum representative either. They log in to the forum but choose not to answer any questions. The last reply they made was on 8th May.
143  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bc scam now We want you to make excuses for what happened. on: May 17, 2023, 10:28:32 AM
OP, Can you please write in detail? I don't see anything suspicious. You just posted two bet IDs; I've checked those are lost bets. What else do you have to prove your claims? The verification says the game result should be 1.04x and 1.82x. I am curious what was your target bet on those specific rounds? I don't know how their crash game works! So, explaining the details would help others to understand why you think the results are unfair. I want to ask, did you contact their support and ask if they have any explanation about it?

BC Games is well known, established online casino. They are unlikely to ruin their reputation bu tempering the games. However, anything could happen in online. Did you contact them within the forum or outside of the forum? If you did not knock them yet, Consider sending them a PM to this account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2503677 and let them know about existence of this topic.

144  Economy / Gambling / Re: What all are your considerations before picking your go to sportsbook? on: May 16, 2023, 10:05:51 AM
All I am really looking for when choosing a place to place a wager is if they accept my country, KYC, have the markets I wish to bet on, have some sort of decent reputation, and if they have decent odds.

If any 1 of my needs are not there I will not bet on that sportsbook.

Okay, I have a question for you. Do you do KYC on the sportsbook? As far as I know, All licensed casinos ask for KYC. Or maybe I am wrong? Let's say a casino has a solid reputation and they are on the market for a long time. They accept your country and have the market you want. But, They need KYC to sign up. Would you choose them to play?

@vennali, I've checked your old list of sportsbooks. You have added freebitco.in as a sportsbook. I am not sure if they are a sportsbook. They have a casino named Dplay. But that's a different platform.

If you want to hear my opinion about what I prefer and like to know from your future list.
It's essential to know if the casino is licensed or not. So, Having a License Yes/No will be appreciated. Moreover, I would like to see what license they got. I want to know if they require you to do a KYC. KYC Yes/NO will also be a great addition to your list. I guess all sportsbooks have Live support these days. But, if any casino doesn't. Please mention them with a Yellow Star.
145  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW Flush.com Crypto Casino - ♠️ $BTC ♦️ $ETH ♣️ $DOGE ♥️ $LTC on: May 16, 2023, 09:49:01 AM
Most of the available promotions on your site is global promotion provided by the providers, am I right?
Yes. Most of their promotions are not exclusive to Flush only, but also for other casinos. So yeah, it's global promotion. As they already announced, they are working on their original Flush games. Without original games, they cannot develop contests like wagering contests. Their USDT Implementation is in beta test now. So, I assume they will start working on Games after releasing USDT.

I remembered you already posted this in March that it would come in that month. Now in middle of May it's just in beta testing?

Not the fasted I suppose. Wonder how hard it could be to implement a currency.   Huh
Their old dev team was so slow. They are dealing with a new dev team right now. But I didn't see any significant changes in the last few weeks. But I won't comment anything about the new team yet. Please give them the benefit of the doubt because coding is not a cup of tea. They have to make sure there are no bugs and maintain the quality.

Flush.com is not on that list. So, what is the point of posting this in this thread? It's off-topic and irrelevant in this thread.
146  Other / Meta / Re: 6 years no fix- Ignore list so large, can't view without "Busy, try again (504)" on: May 16, 2023, 09:33:00 AM
However IF you want to clear your ignore list you can run below script and it will clear your ignore list
Thank you shahzadafzal. I don't have an extensive ignore list. So, I don't know what the problem is. But, As theymos wanted to work on it, I believe the issue still exists, and many users may have it. Your replay deserves a single thread in Meta board if it works currently. I have a question, How is this script going to work? Will it erase the full ignore list? What if someone wants to clear a specific number of users? I don't know how many people an average person wants to ignore. But having more than 2K people on ignore list is already too big. I guess I've ignored less than 10 people so far.

Quote
Well for the sake of testing i have added 20000 users to my ignore list and its working fine.
Where did you find those 20K users? I am curious if all of them are bounty hunters!

@gadman2 If it works for you. Let us know. Unfortunately, you won't have to bump this thread again after another year. Also, whoever has an extensive ignore list can try this script.

I'd watch a porno with her though.

Now you can say you didn't download the wrong movie because you prefer that already! Not same but a better version. LOL
148  Other / Meta / Re: Restrict newbies from posting in the lending board? on: May 15, 2023, 03:44:39 PM
Yes. Lenders can create self-moderated threads so they can delete posts from newbies. But, if someone decides to troll them, it's frustrating to do Tom and Jerry fight. I guess once I've seen BitcoinGirl.Club Deleted Ratimov's post from a self-moderated thread and Ratimov kept posted a few times. BitcoinGirl.Club kept deleting his posts. It continued for several minutes.

This could continue to this day. He would delete this post every day, but I thought that then the Meta and Reputation section would be littered with his whining where he complains about me and asks for a ban. He always cries when his fucking romantic nature gets hurt and spams a bunch of useless topics.

Well, I feel like you still got some anger for what happened a year ago. I understand that you guys don't have a good understanding, but let's not continue what started over a year ago. Once both of you forget those days, you can start your day with a fresh mind and produce quality content (Which you guys already do). Look at the way she responded to me. I don't think she took it with a heavy heart. I would suggest the same if you don't mind.

Oh my memory! I guess both of us were asshole back then 🤣
let's forget what you guys were. But, I am happy to see that you did not take it too seriously. Both of you guys are good and prominent members of the forum. If that fight still continues, I will feel guilty for mentioning you guys.
149  Other / Meta / Re: 6 years no fix- Ignore list so large, can't view without "Busy, try again (504)" on: May 15, 2023, 01:42:57 PM
Where is this guy called Power Glow?😉 He can fix this problem in a few days max.
I had a good laugh, to be honest. Yeah, PowerGlove can fix errors. Not sure if he would play with the code, which theymos ignored for six years. Of course, every bit of improvement is appreciated. Since I've mentioned his name, If he uses Notification Bot, He will get notified about this thread. He is active on Meta Board, I guess he will notice this thread since it's already bumped.

The Fact is coding is not easy. I wonder why programmers spend their precious time writing free scripts. The answer is an open secret. Sometimes they leave some bug on those scripts willingly, and the script user needs him to fix it. To fix those bugs, users have to pay the developer! Of course, this is not the case with SMF software.

@Op, I hope you live another 1000 years but eventually, [insert skeleton behind a computer desk meme here]. Good luck.
There you go.

Do you want him to bump it yearly for the next thousand years?  Wink
150  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com stole hundreds of thousands from me ilegally on: May 15, 2023, 06:49:13 AM
Stake.com misinformed me and took hundreds of thousands of dollars in deposits from me before disabling my account so I couldn't withdrawal and I am looking from someone from management who can solve the issue with me as their complaints and legal department completely ignore me. Customer service tell me to contact complaints and legal but they just dont reply.

I would rather someone high up from management PM me directly to resolve the issue.

If you believe Stake Scammed you, Please write the full details with proof of your deposits and follow the format below;

Code:
[b][color=black]What happened:: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Scammers Profile Link: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Reference Link: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Amount Scammed: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Payment Method: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Proof of Payment: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]PM/Chat Logs: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Additional Notes: [/color][/b]

Did you try to contact Stunna here in the forum? If you didn't, I recommend you contact Stunna for a faster response.
However, I noticed you have posted in their gambling thread and created another separate thread in the Gambling section. Creating multiple threads in different areas is not allowed. Also, it's not going to help your case.

I don't see any reason why Stake won't reply to you. They must explain what they got if they find anything on your account.
151  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BINANCE APP Reinstall warning on: May 15, 2023, 04:16:56 AM
1: Why they ask for installing from Playstore instead of contacting other email.

2: Why they didn't give me link of Playstore or Apple instead of giving link looking scam

Below are the some proof. please check these below mail and what you think about, this is scamming attempt?

You don't have to check where the email comes from. Because I can send you an email from the Official Binance email if I want to scam you or hack your device, this is email spoofing. You will receive an email from the same email address. But only experienced and advanced users will find the difference. Binance doesn't know if you are using an app that contains malware. Binance won't email a specific user, letting them know they are using an app that contains malware. If your Binance app contains malware, Your funds wouldn't be there.

Moreover, Binance won't ask you to download the app from an unknown website. You have to update your app from the google play store or app store. They only send notification updates to the app through the Binance App. It was a scam attempt, for 100% sure. Just avoid those scammers and do not reply to the email again.

BTW, Did you download the app from the link by any chance? If you did, Factory Reset your device as soon as possible. Change all credential information of your emails, social media, exchanges and other accounts.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whitepaper seen in the street of Edinburgh, Scotland on: May 14, 2023, 04:26:37 PM
It means some are not accepting fiat and want to promote Bitcoin!
True.

Such hand written promotion proves that European are struggling. I mean these hand written placards prove the life of a simple family is getting destroyed.
What are you talking about? I am confused if you are in the wrong thread or maybe you have used ChatGPT to write this. Or maybe you forgot to quote someone's post? There was no handwritten promotion. Whatever, this promotion doesn't prove that Europeans are struggling. Same question again, How a Bitcoin promotion can prove that the life of a simple family is getting destroyed? Does it make sense to anyone?

Quote
Situation like this could have been avoided. US domination and control is so good that these European countries are still following it. What a soft dictatorship! It will prevail and it will thrive for many years.
What situation should be avoided? How a Bitcoin Ad is related to US Domination or European countries? Once again, Make sure where are you writing and what are you writing. Read the OP before you write anything. Don't use ChatGPT to write your content. Don't write irrelevant things!

Shit Post at its best!
153  Other / Meta / Re: Restrict newbies from posting in the lending board? on: May 14, 2023, 04:14:04 PM
I'd choose adding a new board with certain restrictions over restricting existing boards.
People are looking for some necessary boards like Cybersecurity and Privacy and some others are looking for their Local boards as well. I am not sure if it takes extra time to code or maybe theymos just felt like those are not necessary at this moment. But, I don't think we will have a new board for similar reasons. I mean we have a Lending board, Adding another board for a similar purpose won't be approved.

Quote
I've seen similar suggestions before. Why not make use of the self-moderation feature? It could even be maintained by a user bot.

Well if you want to open a lending thread you could always make it "self moderated" and delete all the unwanted customers.
I know that's extra work but an option.
Yes. It's a good option. Read above.
154  Other / Meta / Re: TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk on: May 14, 2023, 09:43:28 AM
I will strongly advise that you message Royse777, to allow you upto 14days to remove sinbad signature and avatar. You have to wear your project's avatar and signature and also launch a free campaign such that people that are not paid currently for signature will help promote your project.
After 14 days you may decide to return to sinbad promotion while leaving the campaign open.
I don't think he must wear a signature to spread awareness of his service. For now, he is not making money from this project. Missing two-week payments from the signature campaign won't be a good idea. He is planning to run this as long as possible. He may invest that signature money into his service to improve it further. Since it's exclusively for forum users, his service will take over all other services in no time. The imgur issue already lets people think about the alternative site, and people already getting in touch with Talkimg.

Moreover, Talkimg already got some support from the forum as well. Theymos added a talkimg link on the help page of the forum. Also, Talkimg is going to have a factoid ad. So, he is already getting free advertisements which may be worth more than a couple of hundred dollars. If the factoid ads run for a long time, we don't know how much it may be worth.

See joker_josue's post here;

I take the opportunity to inform you that theymos was pleased with the project, and gave its support in two ways:
- On the help page, next to the images tag, there is a link to TalkImg.
- And we're going to have a factoid suggesting the TalkImg website.

I would like to thank theymos publicly for their availability and support!

However, the free campaign Idea is not nasty. Whoever wants to help his project might wear the signature of his project.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You are still very early on: May 14, 2023, 09:00:14 AM
1. Bitcoin total max supply is almost at 21milliion, why should I invest?
2. Bitcoin miners are not making more Bitcoin as they used to.
3. Bitcoin value is too high, I won't make enough gains investing in Bitcoin.
The supply is 21 Million, but we have already mined 19.37 Million Bitcoin in the last 13 years. You don't have to worry about the supply. The rest 1.67 Million Bitcoin will take around 140 Years to be mined. The scarcity will increase even further after the next halving. It's been only 13 years, and still, a long way to go. Compared to the days we have passed and the days remaining to the end of the mining phase. We are still in the beginning. About Miners, They are making the same or more money, I guess. The only thing I can say is if they hold what they have mined, then yeah, Compared to that time, Current miners are getting less block reward. But, At that time, Bitcoin doesn't worth what it's worth today.

The current block reward is 6.25 Bitcoin, worth over $168K today. After the next halving, the miners will make 3.125 Bitcoins which may be worth more than $168K in 2024 or, let's say, 2025. So, It's absurd to talk about the block rewards. Bitcoin Mining is still profitable, and it will remain profitable for the next hundred years.

Bitcoin's value is indeed too high. But, This is not the end of Bitcoin. As I already said before, We have only passed 13 years. We have a long way to go. The scarcity will increase over time, and the Value of Bitcoin will increase.
156  Other / Meta / Re: I want to know about this, please. on: May 14, 2023, 07:23:10 AM
For example, let's say I have 1000 posts, 500 activities, and 252 merits. Then I decided to delete 748 to make my posts, activities, and merit the same, which is 252 for posts, activities, and merit.

Now my question is, since I have had up to 500 activities before, if I start posting again after deleting, will the post just keep updating into activities until it gets to the 500 that I initially had, or will I have to wait for every 14 days before activities can update?

It depends on which 748 posts you will delete. If you delete 748 posts and there are still posts in different activity periods, Your next activity will account for your posts until your reserved activity period ends. Let me explain a little more. Let's say you deleted 748 posts but did not delete all by serial. Instead, you deleted 20 Posts from the same week and kept one post for this week. If you continue deleting following these patterns, Your activity period remains. So, Whenever you write a post, Your activity will keep increasing till the reserved activity period.

However, If you delete all the posts by serial, Your activity will also be removed. You won't have a reserved activity period. I don't think anyone wants to try this. Or if someone does, I would say it's stupid to try.

Why would a normal Being delete about 748 post without any reason, is that normal?
I don't think it's normal. If someone feels that they made some mistakes in the early days, like Plagiarism, and they don't know which one the plagiarized post, Then it is worth deleting them. It's better to get delete some old posts than to get banned. However, All posts are scrapped these days. But, Moderator do not consider the offense that is not available on the forum anymore. So, deleting posts can help sometimes.
157  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Defaulted [SiNeReiNZzz] on: May 13, 2023, 06:03:19 PM
After that I got muted by the ridiculous German wannebe mod.
Some guys asked him about it and wanted to know more but since I can't reply and he said it was a lie that's all I could find out.

Wrote Shasan on TG so maybe he can join the chat but he was offline.
I am sorry to hear that you were muted. The moderator could have listened to you. But, every casino platform chat has rules and maybe this matter is irrelevant there. The moderator could delete the message and ask you not to post something like that. But, I don't see it as an offense that may lead you to get banned from chat.

The shitty thing was his answer. He said he doesn't owe anything. WTF? So, why doesn't he write that here in the forum? Maybe he doesn't care about the forum account anymore since its reputation is already ruined. I guess the same as you. Maybe he has multiple accounts.

If the stake Moderator banned you just for the reason you explained, they will ban Sashan as well if he asks that guy about the loan. This does not happen within their platform. Moreover, they often say that if you get scammed by someone, the platform cannot do anything. So, deal with the people you trust and at your own risk.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend's investment in Bitcoin on: May 13, 2023, 05:02:38 PM
My friend invests in bitcoin knowing profit loss. He works for a salary of about $400 per month. He invested about $500 in Bitcoins. I didn't show my friend interest in investing in bitcoin. He himself knowingly invested in bitcoin.
I won't say it's true that you didn't show him an interest in investing in Bitcoin. Nobody will invest $500 without knowing where they are investing. You could have told him that Bitcoin would gain in the long run (which is true). Or you have told him something where he sees some profits. So, he got interested in investing in Bitcoin. However, I won't suggest suggesting an Average Joe invest in Bitcoin without knowing it. I can't imagine how much he learned before investing in Bitcoin. He should have learned Basic things before he invests. Otherwise, he might do something wrong with his Bitcoins, and you are one to blame because you introduced Bitcoin and did not explain how other things work!

Ask him to learn more and don't touch his Bitcoins until he know what is he doing with his coins. Just hearing about Bitcoin and Investing in it without knowing it is not a smart idea.

Quote
Did I give my friend the right advice?
In One word, Yes. It was right advice. But, ask him to learn more about Bitcoin. You can Ask him to Join Bitcointalk and read.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Satoshi? on: May 13, 2023, 04:36:10 PM
Bitcoin network has been under attack and the results has been very high transaction fees which has made many people who use it for transactions to use alternatives. This is challenging to the vision of Satoshi when he created Bitcoin for use also as currency as many people will criticize the network as unfit for transactions if accepted for use and everyone starts to use it. There is no way that Satoshi is not aware of the current situation if still alive, do you think what is happening right now is enough to draw Satoshi out to still make some changes or improvemens annonymously?
What do you expect from Satoshi? He already did what he had to do. Bitcoin is decentralized. Even if he returns, He won't be able to make any exceptional changes. The current developers are enough to fix any issue related to Bitcoin. Imagine he has some unique ability to do something on the network, What would you think then? Would you trust Bitcoin anymore? Where the creator can make a significant change? He can do something with his ability, and you might lose your coins.

Today's transaction fees look low compared to a few days ago. According to Blockchair, The current recommended fee is 82 satoshi per byte. It was over 400 satoshi per byte. The ordinal craze will end at some point. The network may get back no normal. But, it won't be back to normal as before. You have to pay a little more fees than before. Let's wait and see how long it takes.

I feel like I've seen a similar thread before. But I don't remember correctly when and where.

with the increase in the number of new users joining the Bitcointalk community and many new topics, threads are being made every day. I noticed that it can be challenging to find relevant information, tools and extras on Bitcoin talk community.
I am unsure if this thread should belong to Meta. Maybe It better fits in Beginner and Help section since your topic target audience is Newbies.

As a newbie, posting images is disabled but then, once you have finally ranked up posting images is pretty simple. You just have to use some image hosting webs, to create an image url like the imgbb, imgur(note the imgur is currently not supporting image url but I guess this issue would be resolved soon)
FYI, Imgur won't fix the issue. They created the issue for Bitcointalk users. They blocked requests from ip.bitcointalk.org. So, Bitcointalk won't be able to load images from Imgur anymore unless theymos want to do something. As far as I know, LoyceV decided to download 800K images from Imgur, and maybe we can see some fix from him and joker_josue along with theymos. However, Talkimg.com is a new image hosting website exclusively for Bitcointalk users created by Joker_Josue.
