Request withdrawal, deposits and trading to be completely disabled on all exchanges. Request all pools to stop mining.
Take 24-48 hours to inform and confirm everyone has the most updated wallet, once confirmed request everything to open again.
Viacoin dev did that and had all problems fixed pretty quick.

Dear "DEVS", So, spend months meticulously preparing for launch. testing. making sure everything works as it should and as promised so as not to look like complete idiots and to build confidence. Then launch the thing with all the promised features fully tested and running smoothly. Then go to bed. Don't stick around to make sure everything goes to plan. Don't have anyone around to fix those pesky little glitches. Business on the cockup chain. Any self respecting business would run a mile from this mutant . There are simply no excuses for what happened today. Apologise and fix it before looking for your money.  |

He makes valid points, as do many others on here, but his ego and level of financial committment allow him to think it's OK to treat other peoples' opinions and ideas as beneath contempt and , with unmitigated gall, to verbally abuse them.
Page after page of his views. Page after page. Page after page. Drone. Yawn. Diminished credibility.
I don't need summaries of his lectures. I use the "ignore" facility and hope others will stop quoting his diatribes.

In my dreams,
I want a cold wallet in which I can store multiple tokens of value and contracts. My bank.
I want an easy to use, elegant, secure hot wallet that connects with a fully decentralised, autonomous exchange on which all digital tokens can be exchanged with each other and with FIAT. I want to exchange within my wallet.
I want a digital credit / debit card which I can load from my wallet and which integrates with the existing ATM networks. If existing ATM networks are not willing to integrate, I want a new network of ATMs that will.
I want my transactions to be private but not necessarily untracable or anonymous. That should be an option.
I want fully encrypted anti-censor decentralised social networking, chat, video, file sharing / storage, and facility to "install" any other service that takes my fancy on my hot wallet.
I want to be able to select from a menu of apps or services and choose contracts that do what I want to do or can be tailor made.
I want a fully decentralised, autonomous Internet Service Provider.
I want a single, super secure user identity browser that connects me to everything but only when I want it.
I want a platform not a coin.
I don't think I'm alone.
For now, I want the coins because that's where new ideas and innovations can happen. The good ones will come to be seen as apps not coins. Back to the platform.
Just part of my dream. Excited to see what happens.

It looks like all alts are depressed just now so it's not just about one coin. Many coins have been attacked in one way or another. So best thing to do right now seems to be to hold on and try to remember why you bought in to NAV in the first place. |

Any person who puts money into crypto does so at their individual risk. The warnings on the pack are clear. Technological development area. Very risky. Wild West. No rules. No insurance. No police. No customer services desk. No refunds. Take responsibility for your individual decision. Win - good. Lose - live with it. No nanny state
Too many enemies to count. Parasitic, manipulative traders and whales with delusions of self worth and not enough sense to keep the host alive. Paid fudsters. Greedy, fickle, lazy speculators who fail to do due diligence and then have temper tantrums if it doesn't go well. AWOL devs. Scams.
Knee jerk reactions to posts instead of considered responses. Ugly, immature language, insults and abuse, even threats.
It's Wall Street but worse. It's what people do with freedom and power.
VRC looks very like it got screwed by deliberate attacks. Everything was fine, devs (imho genuine guys with real talent but swimming with pirhana ), strong community, on time for deadlines, real results. Then suddenly it became radioactive. Truly a shame.
This coin, the devs and community deserve better than that and the show ain't over yet. So sell up or hang on but don't whine and above all, don't threaten decent people.

Wow, a lot's changed for you in 1 month, eh? For those of use newer to the forum, would you mind stating one of the good ideas that the devs are ignoring. Maybe pick the best one and restate it. It'd be really cool if you could do it without all the rude and condescending language that you seem to enjoy typing so much. Nothing really changed, I said here yesterday that this is still one of the best coins, I always say the devs are great, nice, honest guys, nothing wrong with the community except the Wizrig associate hype making cheerleaders do nothing good for the coin. I think we all have gotten tired of Joels hype. He has not done anything for our coin and lately I see him promoting other coins. I am pretty sure he is not attending or participating in meetings etc. because he know the rage he would get from us. I am one of the people that defended him because I wanted to give him a chance. He promised promised promised with his rolodex of golden phone numbers, singers, entertainment industry, BIG PEOPLE. The moment I first saw him I am pretty sure we all came to the conclusion that this guy is riding the white pony. I am one of VRC's biggest backers and am happy he is no longer here. So lets not talk about him again, unless he actually decides to do all the things he said he would the first 10 hours he spoke in the google live chat. Moving on.... I do not think they are ignoring the good ideas, blockchain 2.0 is a great idea, decentralized exchange is a great idea. other ideas like usernames, anonymous chat, anonymous videos, upgraded wallet, website, etc are all little things compared to decentralizing the exchange. I live in New York and Ben Lawsky is about to fuck us big time by putting regulations in place for bitcoin that once again favor the corporations already in place that have money and fuck us little people who cannot pay for permits, fines, etc due to the regulations. They will clamp down on the exchanges..... Decentralize exchanges needs to come quicker then the speed of sound at this point. This is what all coins should be working on in my opinion. Hope that anwsers your question. As far as what this coin has is.. Transparent developers which is very risky for them to come out in the open due to crazys out there that may backlash, this shows they are genuine unlike most coin devs. The Devs are very intelligent in the this field and have whole hearted interest in creating a great coin. We have a great community that have many developers in it including myself. Vericoinish.com was done in my spare time. The coin was rated by and economist as one of the most economically sound coins. PoS which allows everyone to be a miner by leaving their wallet open,( I always hated the fact that 1 rich guy can afford a billion miners and rape any coin they wanted.). Thats just my 2 cents, if you have any question definitely go to VRC irc channel and you can get answers on the spot and many times directly from the devs. +1 decentralised exchange priority. |
