Game ON , Arsenal 2 - 1 Leicester . goal in the final minutes . i think arsenal have a greater opportunity to become a tittle.  Grin

Four team in 1st-4th position om the table still has the chance to win the title because the point differences between those four teams are so close.
There are still 12 matches remaining this season, so anything may happen but I want to see a new champion in EPL. I want to see Leicester or Tottenham rather than Arsenal or City

The good news for all those teams is they are pretty much 100% in the champions league which is arguably the biggest prize anyway since it makes the teams so much money for next season + attracts new players and keeps the current ones happy.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 14, 2016, 04:56:35 PM

Leicester just went down to 10 men but im thinking it wont actually matter that much seeing as its 2nd half and all leicester do is suck up pressure and hit people on the break.  Draw would be enough from this game.

Arsenal got some luck with 10 men leicester team. The result would be totally different if only leicester still play with 11 players and the last goal from welbeck totally save wenger from being humiliated. Atleast for now leicester is still on top of the league, even if either manchester city or tottenham win the next game , it will not matter leicester's position

oh man no way they lost 2-1 in final minute this is so sick, i dont see leicester winning the league now and im not over reacting i think they needed a point.  A draw between city spurs could still help them tons since arsenal can flake.

you see, i think arsenal will get same like manchester city defeat 1-3 by leicester maybe not same in the score.
arsenal 0-1 leicester HT

Yeah just saw the scoreline, jamie vardy penalty! lets just hope they can hold on for the win.  Really shocked.

They nearly just had another penalty aswell, should have been given!
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will Satoshi Nakamoto do with his Bitcoins? on: February 14, 2016, 09:16:42 AM
Let us assume Satoshi Nakamoto really owns 1148800 BTC.

What is he most likely going to do with them?

What could he do with it that would best help Bitcoin to succeed?

With this amount of money one could help significantly in solving big social issues of mankind, such as hunger or several tropical diseases.

Not until the value goes up more, if he dumps them on the market he would crash it and likely kill it.  Not sure we could handle going back to double figures.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 14, 2016, 09:10:40 AM
My tip for today Arsenal - Leicester i will play two signs X2, leicester in great form.

Biggest game of the season so far, if leicester win this they will win the league imo.  I would think arsenal will win but can only hope they dont.  Also hope that city and tottenham draw would be the perfect day.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy in Roulette ? on: February 13, 2016, 05:22:57 PM
There are many types of Roulette strategy available, and each one has its differences from the others, or lucky numbers...

The best strategy is to do what brings you the most fun but yet doesn't use any money you cant afford to lose.  But if you are talking about making money long term it is impossible without cheating so large single bet is the best as you only get hit by house edge one time.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoins successor on: February 13, 2016, 05:19:18 PM
which digital currency would you say is the best to come out after bitcoin when it comes to useful attributes to the system.

Id be really interested whats a useful thing after bitcoin since i really got out of touch with all the new altcoins coming out.

Is NXT/MSC still a thing?

Its nothing we've seen yet and i would guess there wont be a successor since everything can be built on top of bitcoin or in conjunction with.  We will probably have centralized competition from banks.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 13, 2016, 10:56:42 AM
Manchester United will make me into huge profit as i think it will win this match against Sunderland, Manchester United surely will try its hard to win this match and to get some easy points from this winning against weak team.

This is man united of today we are talking, im going for either 1-0 united or 1-1, 0-0.  Defo under 2.5 goals since sunderland will have no choice but to keep things tight at the back.

There isn't 100 spots open for people to join.  You would have to buy all these accounts and you'd lose money on each 1 daily as the prices trend down over time.  You dont have longevity with this idea and the work is robotic.  Better things to do with your life.

1. Leicester.    53 points
2. Tottenham.     48 points
3. Arsenal.     48 points
4. Manchester City.    47 points

Strange top 4 in premier league history, no Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea there.
Leicester city now are the most consistent team so they are leading in market to be champion?

This title race will be very interesting with two newcomer to the top 4. Tottenham and leicester has a good chance to stay in top 4 however this could change pretty soon, manchester united isnt so far at the 5th rank currently and might be able to get into the top 4 zone with few games to come. I personally hope leicester will beat arsenal in the next match so mancester united could catch up for their points
this year are really really weird for premier league but also interesting to watch because there is so many suprised and unexpected result such as the table league leader are the underdog team, big name of manager got sacked and the top scorer list are strange names like this :

1   Jamie Vardy          Leicester     18 goals
2   Romelu Lukaku    Everton   16 goals
3   Harry Kane          Spurs        15 goals
4   Riyad Mahrez      Leicester   14 goals
5   Odion Ighalo       Watford   14 goals

let's see what we'll happened later in the rest of 13 matches.

Get your money on harry kane he is a goal machine, shoots from anywhere.  Going to be top 5 strikers in the world in a couple years imo if not already.
both harry kane and jamie vardy are a goal machine this season no doubt, england national team squad should be proud now having two great forward at one blow.

Yeah its time to drop rooney forever from england, midfield and attack england have kane, vardy, barkley, alli.  Rooney is class but cant run anymore, its no good for attack.

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has been ruled out for "up to six months" and will undergo surgery this week after suffering anterior cruciate ligament damage in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.

Yeah greatest news john terry has heard all season because he will now for sure get a new contract.  It was in the balance before this news.  Big miss for chelsea though he is #1 now.
157  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drugs fuck you up, man on: February 08, 2016, 06:10:24 PM
So for this politics topic I wanted to talk specifically about the harmful effects of illegal drugs

Its probably been said but i dont think it matters on the legal status much at times. Many over the counter drugs can fuck you up, many specific foods ccan fuck you up if you eat wrongly.  I try not to take anything myself legal or illegal.  I do think weed should be made legal and people should be able to use it medically for many things.

159  Economy / Economics / Re: When A Super Rich Person Buys A Yacht Do More Africans Suffer? on: February 08, 2016, 01:31:02 PM
Basically.....Do You Have A Moral Responsibility When Buying Things?

On a smaller scale if you buy a certain product more of that product will get produced as a result, does that imprison other people or does it depend on the product? How do we know what products are moral to buy?

I've never bought a yatch, so i can't tell you the truth, basically when i spend my moeny, gained whit my work whitout abusing people i'm not doing a wrong thing

So if you worked harder for your money does that give you more of a right to buy whatever you choose?   just asking.

Like is someone is on benefits or has won the lottery (so haven't really "worked hard" for their money) do you think their money shouldn't have the same value as yours?

Im justing asking dont take offence or anything here Smiley

WhatTheGox

Bigger problems?  I can only offer opinions:

1)  Creeping government (authoritarian) takeover of our liberties and money. .govs are broke and hungry.  Worst risk IMO.

2)  Risk of stupidly getting into more wars.  It has taken me a long time to turn libertarian (from conservative).

3)  Moral bankruptcy / societal disintegration.  Wealth concentration and declining standards of behavior ignite equivalent of civil war.

4)  "Black Swans" -- low-probability, unpredictable but heavy impact events like an EMP, mass terrorism, sudden economic collapse.

Ok fair enough maybe some of those things are a bigger worry i guess it depends who you are.

Economy is a zero-sum game. So it definitely shows why Africans are poor.

In a zero sum game, for every gain, there is a equivalent loss.

Let's say my neighbor discovers a cure for cancer and ends up making $50 billion dollars as a result of his discovery.

Does the fact that he made $50 billion dollars make me and the rest of the world poorer?

The fact that he charges for the cancer cure does make the world more indebted to him vs if he gave the cure away for free or for cheap etc.  Perhaps its a spectrum.

You make a good point though some things seem to actually add to our quality of life as humans and its very easy to see.  Other things dont seem so obvious.

Does anyone find it a little bit messed up with all the knowledge we have in 2016 we cant house and feed the world though? and with almost no complications.
