Yesterday tested undervolting on my Giga RX 470 Gaming G1 4Gb.
On stock (1230/1650): Idle - 90 W/wall , Mining - 216-230 W/wall ( 75avg W in GPU-Z).
Undervolted -90mW in AB stock clocks : Indle - 90W/wall ( didnt measured , I gues it was same), Mining - 190-200 W/wall ( 52avg W in GPU-Z)
So its about 30 W less power usage . Anyone got same results ?
Hashrate was the same.

Hi friends! Facing high power consumption at the wall. Decide to undervolt cards ( got 5 280x's and 3 rx 470 4Gb). What is the best and easiest way to do that ? Flashing custom BIOS, AB , whatman and etc. ? Please feel free to point me on some links. Thanks a lot.
easiest just to use afterburner or wattman. you can set each card to different values. no flashing involved and you can easily change it if you switch to another algo that doesnt like a particular undervolt. flashing the bios is mainly for memory timings or if you use *nix. Thanks for advice. I think Ill try AB for the first try.

Go mine on Dwarfpool!!! No stealing shares like other pools..... I switched from flypool to dwarfpool, and I have 15% more shares!!!(my real shares)
Interesting probbaly will make the switch if things dont improve on nano and flypool I was mining on flypool for the past month and last night I switched to Dwarfpool for the night I made HALF of what I was making in flypool Back to flypool.... flypool is PPLNS payment format -- so you need to be in flypool for period of time to get maximum hash/reward. is Dwarfpool PPS or PPLNS? if Dwarfpool is PPLNS like flypool, then to compare fairly you need to be mining at Dwarf longer than a night... Sorry for untopic question , but im wondering for a long time. I know that continious mining on one pool maximize the reward , but should it be uninterruptable connection to the pool ? , I mean does reconect lower the reward or not ?

Can someone explain me briefly what happened here ? did someone upload through 3333 his own config file to someone else's rig ?
yes that's exactly what occurred. I had the port open to the world and someone decided my rig would be better suited to mine for them than me. BR Thats why should use minus in mport "-mport -3333" PS. I run 2 rigs on the same real ISP'ns IP but start each rig on diff port with "-"

Well , Im back with "gpu returned incorrect data", Ive removed OC , restarted rig , was fine on v5 now its again. Now on v6. It now show that GPU it is , but whats wrong ?
I suppose every message = rejected share ?
Any ideas ?
not reinstall drvrs, Os and so. Done already

Hello and thank for your work,
I have two rigs with claymore v6, 385+h/s each = 770 H/s DevFee 2.5 then average hashrate must be 770x0.95 = 750 but 6h average on pools is about 706 H/s
We are loosing 5% in devefee process or in some place. (v.6 shows 0 rejected on both rigs, great job!!)
Similar with claymore v5 and other pools (tried zcash nicehash and nanopool) Maybe you can fix or it. Thank you
Same here. Got two rigs with ~850 sol/s rate . But on nanopool its reporting ~780 within 12 hrs. And that was noticed long ago. Dont know why is that. Any ideas ? 0 reject. BR. yeah something is def up with the reported hash rates Well, anyone who cares.... worked for 24+ hr. on flypool , from actual 720 sol/s from rig - minus devfee (2.5%) = 702 sol/s . That is real close to what i see on site ( 685 sol/s)

Stay away from nanopool. Try another pool, I'm on flypool and happy with it ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Thanks. I'll try it now, report of status later.....

I'm having "GPU returned incorrect data!" on my mixed 290/280 rig. Despite errors galore the rig gives only about 1% of rejected shares on the pool side even though the log is all red at times. None of the cards is overclocked, they are undervolted however with AB. What might be the cause of it? http://image.prntscr.com/image/c8ae8a63174747b7960cd0d0bfb86885.jpgHave same messages on overclocked GPUs. After reset settings in AB all become good. Also reboot helps for a while

Any ETA on fixed 2.x version for slow CPUs ( cauz of CPU load issue) ?
|
|

Confirming huge CPU load . due of that lve got hashrate drop from 270 to 230-250. 2*470+4*280x Back to 1.1

As someone has mentioned before, this coin has become a mine and dump coin. With the latest huge drop in price the profits are almost equal to ETC now. Although Zec is still not present ( ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) ) in http://www.whattomine.com/coins, for my small home farm of 280x and 390's (1200 sols/s) this is the reality. If we as a community do not learn how to care for our coins, sooner or later our profits will be gone. I mean, every time the pools pay to the miners there is a rush to fill the buy book in poloniex. I am not saying that we should wait too long but there is a way to sell in small portions with a minimal negative impact on the price. I do not consider myself as a good trader but I managed to doble my Zec profits selling during the spikes and not affecting the price in a negative way at all. Just a food for thought while squeezing another sols from your cards I agree with you completely, there are ways of maximising profit long term but mining and dumping as fast as possible destroy confidence and reduce everyone's potential returns. Such behaviour only works when the demand outstrips supply, not with artificial scarcity and people panic dumping left right and centre. Part of the issue is many miners have a smash and grab mentality to mining. I love that commodity hardware like CPUs and GPUs allow mining to be democratised, however the flip side is people with no understanding of markets suddenly have assets they want to cash out to something they are more comfortable with like BTC. Part of the issue is volatility, part is the massively inflationary nature of the early mining phase, part is just mismanaged expectations. Good suggesions , no cntr agrs , but agree , this coin met with CM and millions of VCs couht its destiny

Getting GPU returned incorrect data! approximately 1 message in each 2 min.
Too overclocked ?
Yes, you could brick your card if you keep pushing it like that... Well, i think this messages are about two rx 470s , running 2000MHz mem on strapped bios. But it was rock solid 29 Mhs on ETH CM 7.3 That may be wrong now ?
