Aaaargh, got my first s1.... but does not listen to the (root)password.. can not login.

 Cry

They have a reset button. Should set it back to factory defaults so the password works.

I don't know what a hex16a2 is, but I currently have a MinePeon with 6 Antminer U1's via USB and serving as a proxy for one Cube. The Antminers are running at 2 GHs each and the Cube is running at around 33 GHs (I'm not overclocking it). Maybe that information can help.

Triplemining pays. I saw your posts with your examples crazyearner. It does suck that you didn't get paid, but unfortunately the shares you had submitted where for a period that was greater than 24 hours to finding the block. The way Triplemining works is that the only shares paid are for a period up to 24 hours before finding the block. Any work performed for a period greater than 24 hours before the block is found, even if just 24 hours, 0 minutes and 1 second before the block will not be paid. It's a big risk; if a block is found in a short period of time because of the low hash rate of the pool, the payout can be substantial. However, in a long round like the current one (430 hours and no block) then it is wasteful. The only saving grace in such a situation would be winning the jackpot.

Personally, I don't do my main mining in this pool because of the risk of wasted work, but I do point some slight hashing power its way just in case I get to luck out.

I'm having great success using the MinePeon distribution for the Raspberry Pi which uses bfgminer for the proxy.

also just wanted to report that my hashrate dipped really bad on SHA-256 as well, now MM was reporting that my hashrate was about the same (36 - 38 GH/s Block Erupter Cube) BUT my hashrate on Eligius dropped by about 10 GH/s This was for the whole 18+ hour period I used MM with my Cube, the second I switched it back to my regular stratum proxy my reported hashrate on Eligius returned to normal (36 - 38 GH/s)

I'm pretty sure this is due to the upgrade to BFGminer 4.0. I tried BFG 4.0 and my Cubes just didn't like it at all; I had to go back to BFG 3.10. MultiMiner, which upgrades BFG automatically is probably suffering from this proxy issue on BFG 4.0.

I may be doing something weird in 4.0, but the script I used to use on version 3.10 for the proxy (I'm running 2 Block Erupter Cubes) doesn't seem to agree with the Cubes. BFGMiner is reporting a hash rate from them, but when I go to the Cube admin page they don't know their hash rates; it just reports 0. It's definitely hashing since the pool does report the miner as alive, but the hash rate that I'm getting is lower than expected and I notice the cube keeps switching automatically between both configured pools in a Primary/Backup configuration. It's not supposed to do that if the work is getting accepted.

Edit: Using the 32-bit Windows version on Windows 8.1. Just noticed that this version has the proxy on the 64-bit release but I haven't downloaded the 64-bit yet.

Actually it's at 99.25% right now Smiley

Really, it's just bad luck. Bitminter has a link to a Wikipedia article explaining CDF in their Statistics -> Luck link that explains the concept behind the luck calculation and how it works.
