I honestly don't even know how to respond to you anymore because it's like talking to a wall.

You're not connecting what I am saying to you and you take it to mean other things.

For the umpteenth time, please just move on and get on with your life.  Do something more productive than constantly troll us.

Please get your site back up and running.  Put some effort into it and make that your top priority.  Stop wasting both of our time.

@JPR

Didn't tell Staxxd to make the poll or comment.

I'm not sure what Acoin's trust comments have to do with this.  People should look into what is left before making transactions.  You can see most of the comments left on his page are inaccurate and are from negative trusted members.

Futhermore, If you took the time to understand where the comments came from, you'd see it was mostly from Acoin warning people that Let it Ride was a scam and full of shills, which both were later realized and they got away with hundreds of thousands of dollars untouched.

People knew his name.  He has stated in chat that's what his name was.

I don't disclose details of wins/losses of investments.  I've stated this to you several times and it's clear in our faq (moneypot.com/faq [see 'What info is private / public? ']

^All of this has absolutely nothing to do with this thread though.

If you would actually read, here's my issues.

Creating closed answer polls, starting up multiple threads and placing them in gambling subforum rather than gambling discussion, spreading lies and misinformation, continually changing the topic to distract from valid points, and never ever reading and comprehending what we are actually saying.

IMO, he has the right to express his opinion and others have the right to ignore his account.

There's a difference between opinion and libelous comments.  We have told him several times he has the right to express his opinion.

We have even encouraged him on several occasions to talk everything through with us to get an informed opinion and then post after.

His attacks make us less inclined to participate in the Bitcointalk forum in any form.  We have spent over 12BTC in Advertisements on this forum and feel like leaving.  I'm sure others will feel the same way if trolls are given enough power and not reprimanded.
It does not feel like theymos cares, regardless of the amount that you've spent. Spam and these kinds of attacks have been a growing issue, and almost nothing has been do to combat it effectively.

I am requesting the Moderators help to at the very least keep his topics out of the Gambling subforum.
He needs a permanent ban. Simple and effective.

I probably shouldn't have listed the amount as it's a bit of a useless metric, but I wanted to make the point that unmoderated trolling can result in real life customers and income for Bitcointalk forum to disappear or be limited as an effect.

And I totally agree with your second statement.

Every few days, Moneypot.com receives trolling attacks from user 'Jackpotracer', where he constantly insults us, and resorts to arguing false herrings to attempt to damage our site.

He has recently started making polls in the gambling subforum, where he shapes the answers only to what he wants to say, and will attack any user that posts or speaks different from what he wants.  He labels any user that speaks out against him as a signature spammer only and will insult them all.

An example: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1914544.0;all

It has even led to unprompted threads to counter this by some of the members of the community here ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1941231.0 ) where their answers are quite clear.

At least edit the polls to not have closed answers.

It's like asking me if you like killing dogs or punching babies?

While, Bit-exo is a very great site, there are many more reasons why they are involved with us other than simply not being able to.

Delete or Lock the thread.

closed answers?

please give me some answers you like to see and I will add them

Yes, closed answers because they do not represent all sides.  You are looking to manipulate the answers and cause damage to Moneypot.  Stop it.

please give me the answers you like to see, easy as that

and BTW

You the MP owners can't pretend like you're not intentionally trying to hurt JPR anymore.

Please step out of your clown shoes and ask especially Rango aka Acoin.....aka.........

You left on your own accord.

The proof here is that you're setting up polls and attacking anyone that answers differently than what you want.  You are shaping answers only to reflect what you want.  That's intentional damage.

Stop insulting us.  It is terrible that you are allowed to keep posting malicious polls after being repeatedly told to stop by numerous members of the community.

Hi guys, could anyone advise me on how to make images work on this thread? Is it because i'm too low rank that I can't embed images? Thanks!

That's correct.

The App developers are not responsible for Moneypot policies.

Please refrain from personal attacks and keep this thread on topic.  Thank you.

'BV does not do this.

Do not incorporate in a nanny state then... wtf'

-------------

There has only been one case and it was a special case.  This is a modified topic and we could have easily deleted it, but did not.

I'm not sure what BV does.  I am not able to find any real information on them. Not saying they ever would, but my guess is that they could take the website offline tomorrow and there is nothing that could ever be done.

There is a balance needed and we don't plan to disrupt it.  You can have anonymous and easily disappearing operators with no known info along with anonymous bettors or you can have what we have.

Poloniex is by far the most used crypto site and it is subject to much much stricter requirements.  I have no doubts that it would not be that successful or even operational if it was run with an anything goes approach.

Most of this is basically a moot point though.  This is pretty much the only case out of more than 40,000 different users on Moneypot.

edit; added top part for context.

@JPR

I think you have a few points wrong and things that may or may not have applied in the past does not equate to it automatically having substance today.

Please refrain from using past quotes as a sole point of debate.  It is time consuming and detracts away from the real issues at hand.

We have reached out to Ryan in the past and re-adjusted the way that the investments have been handled.  This was done a while ago along with some methods to help increase the investor's expected win rate and volatility.

We've been constantly monitoring how things have worked and as stated before, we are ready to adjust as necessary.  We are on top of things to make sure that spots where certain conditions and scenarios could lead to long term negative repercussions are quickly managed and deterred from being realized.

Also if you have read before, you would realize that we don't pick 'any' winner and that this was a specific case.  The reasoning is presented in my previous posts.

While some of your posts have started to get a bit better, it is still clear that you are trying to 'paint a picture' using fallacies while resorting to insults and condescending jabs.  You are not in a position to make demands and the questions you always claim are un-answered have been addressed several times in the past.

edit; Have removed your last post as it stands to only confuse people of the current today situation.  I have still answered your concerns above.

@JPR:
We have 2 people with server access.  It is not too many.  You need more than one in the event of a hit-by-bus scenario and for other reasons.

Bitcoin anonymity can only go so far.  You can not be a complying registered company in a respected country and allow absolutely anything to happen.  It just doesn't work that way.

We allow for great ease and freedom, but it goes to a certain extent and besides, the past scenario is an extremely rare occurrence (coupled with the fact that the timing was during a long weekend which delayed matters).

The main thing that needs to be followed above anything else is that certain precautions are taken so that users of our site (on both sides of players and takers in our case) are guarded.  This is why we take extra steps to try and ensure that responsible gaming is carried out and anything that sticks out is looked into.

I'd give it a bit and see if your coins are returned (I'm sure they will be).

"Free Legendary Escrow Service - Tip Jar in Profile"

Ended up paying 18% escrow fee for $97USD transaction.

To be fair, it was listed in the long text and I accept responsbility, but this service is very expensive and the risk of being scammed would probably provide a better rate of return than using the escrow.
