anyone having issue with ac.poo.mn? i go to rent a rig at betarigs and then when entering the detils of my workers and stratum it never shows up.
works on other pools but none are anywhere close for reward and consistancy.
ac.pool.mn has some weird ddos protection system, it randomly bans miners IPs. probably betarigs ip got banned. Agree ac.pool.mn has been sweet for my rigs from day dot (home rigs) - mined over 150k -no problemo at all - actually my credits / round appear to be increasing - already dumped most over .00002 - I am gonna thrash this baby until the end then dump when more "investors" come on line (prob keep 20k in local wallet) - with the amount of coins in circ it is going to need some big investors / too many pumpers preaching they know it all when they know jack - peep's get too emotional, you are not going to make big $$$ - I know many miners with BIG bags just waiting to dump / stage dump. It is dog eat dog these days - many traps set on the exchanges to sucker peeps. Take another coin say FAC, it was total POS and only 50,000,000 coins I made a couple of BTC out of it but no longer hold any. it is just wash / rinse / repeat these days. What do you foresee to happen with AsiaCoin in the next week? month? Do you see it having a life of a year+? How long have you been in the game? |

is it time to buy? it's seems cheap..  If you're going to buy, now would certainly be a great time to buy. The fact that this coin has been remaining stable during the multipool dump period we are in is a good sign for the future. One more week and this coin is going to soar

Not sure what's next for this coin but I ain't selling for less than I payed for. Ahhaha
The next while is going to be a ride for sure. I'm still way too new to have any idea of what to expect but I'm enjoying the experience non-the-less. I'll be keeping a close eye on http://coinmarketcap.com/ac_7.html for sure. |

I really enjoyed his speech on AsiaCoin. As he stated himself, three and a half hours was just barely enough time to summarize the brilliance of AsiaCoin but it was really well structured and I feel one of his better moments. |

Keep dumping
1K sats is the cheapest you will ever see it! With the block halve happening and then POW ends in a week or so, you will see 10K sats at least. People will hold this coin to get 100% the first year. Of course there will be spenders as many people have no patience. 10k would be ultra nice to see! |

Which is better to do at this point? Mine the coins at current difficulty or buy AsiaCoins off MintPal at 1200 sats?
Mine coins of course because we will reach the threshold much faster. Well I rent rigs so I was just wondering which would net me more coins, mining or buying at this point. Don't want to rent rigs and get less coins than what I can get on MintPal. I know if I had BTC (of any amount) to buy some AC with I would definitely buy some at this price, I have full faith in this coin so at this price it'd be hard not to. Maybe you could do both? |

Cant say for sure, You could say it may become twice as difficult to mine the same amount your getting now as the reward has halved.
but then miners could go elsewhere so the difficulty could halve.
Then the difficulty could double if the price goes up and it remains profitable.
We wont know until it happens.
three things you could do,
hold your coins and wait for high price
Hold your coins and miss the highest price (and kick yourself later), sell for a low price and cut your loses.
Hold you coins for the full year (potentially a good bet with this coin if you don't need the cash)
Bitcoin took 4 years to go above 8 dollars, hit 80 in 6 months and then 1000 3 months later) before crashing back down to 400 months after that (blame MtGox and the fact that bitcoin was a proof of concept coin - it was never really designed to be a direct replacement for cash)
There is a lot more to it than that, but its in a nutshell.
EDIT : That's partly why Scrypt came along with litecoin to fill in the blanks Bitcoin overlooked (ASIC resistant... errrr.... was)
considering 99% of the coins I own came from the bounty, I'll probably hold for a decent amount of time and just keep a close eye on the market, maybe trade around with a couple thousand if things look real good for a little bit. I'm on the poor side of the scale so I haven't invested money in (would if i could). At most I lose an hour or two of time spent (not counting graphics card time spent). I plan to study up and play it smart (as possible) though. google coincalendar, try to keep ahead of the game. thanks for the tip! |
