Interesting to see what this 1a base sells for:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/334804916687?hash=item4df3ed99cf:g:NjkAAOSwVSRkEZfz&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA0KfvkTMB9lc69tlrh8eGQg0I0%2BgU8nkrdYOODRGvJtEaIFSCk3mQwgIm5IfEo3dPr2aHkhBAZqDSdcJUtSIx%2FgMcOHQGvAQN2MSJVf%2BCROtAwcuL7ksbW07olMl%2BoP7%2FX%2FkTv1tSlW8kT098Y6tr%2F%2FMpcShz7Dk3kQijChiGDIw554s2X3d34AF3VrtPGz7HcZ0ECDOk4Enb2iM6BXKQPmUcZ88vTiIa0wLmGgpN2MxnuszzoV3LpIcdblzm8QmTtFW%2FSXc7xDNFptePifWR84A%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR4SpjvXlYQ

Edit: Looks like the card sold for $77. The seller has another 1a for auction, starting bid $25
147  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN/INFO] CARDSMITHS - CURRENCY SERIES 1 TRADING CARDS on: March 29, 2023, 07:01:28 AM
Are these only for sale on the company website?
A friend gifted me a few boxes. I'd like to return the favor and maybe pick up a couple more for myself.

I think Target in the US was selling them too, apparently another big retailer is going to stock them soon also.

You can probably still get a few boxes from a couple of members on the forum here.

Great to see another collector of this fantastic product

Looking to sell one of my loaded coins.
1HodlClub Bitcoin Hourglass 1oz Fine Silver Coin.

Although these have not yet sold out and can be purchased from 1hodlclub.store, you will not find one like this with a very low serial number.
Please DM offers

Edit: will swap for cards

I like the 1, 1A, 53, MR2 (A), and MR7 (A).
These all look good in the gemstone refractor varieties Cheesy
There is a 1A Ruby on eBay, looks beautiful, wish i could afford it
151  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN/INFO] CARDSMITHS - CURRENCY SERIES 1 TRADING CARDS on: March 24, 2023, 09:32:47 AM
Looks like the market has set a new price on the #1A and it's about the same as the old price. $52

There was probably a bit of hype around these cards, esecially leading up to the redemption program as collectors where trying to complete sets.
My guess is that these cards will continue to rise in price unless more start popping up soon, maybe they are in unopened boxes, or maybe they are just a rare base card.
152  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [TRADE/SALES] Cardsmiths Currency Series 1 Trading/Sales Thread on: March 24, 2023, 07:37:31 AM
Dang I was thinking more like $1000 to $1500 for the holo set. I feel like you could buy a whole box for $1500 and probably assembly a base set, and sell the rest to aquire a holo set, and also have some CS and refractors too.

I bought 6 cases and have two sets after getting 10 cards from others. Perhaps my luck is bad.
I am interested to know what was the best card you pulled from 6 cases?
Any big redemptions like 1btc or 1eth? (Really hope we start to see some soon)

We all know the 2 rare base cards (#1a and #7)
In your opinion what are the rare holofoil and CS cards of the set?

Also, what is your favorite card of the set? Including MR and CF cards?

Best card was a
2022 Cardsmiths Currency 1st Edition Ada Lovelace Blue Sapphire #5/5 Card #17.

No big redemption.  But .4x 01 btc  is not bad and 2 1ltc

Card 7 base seems I had a few. 28a not so much. But one case had no 9 card of any type.

The 1a holo and cs were more rare to me

Favorite as far as looks was 2022 Cardsmiths Currency 1st Edition Gemstone Beryl Refractor /149 Bitcoin #58

Interesting.
It sounds like the 1a card is probably one of the most rare cards of the series.

I'm not sure I have seen a #58 beryl yet, but can understand why you may have picked it.
The beryl refractors do look beautiful on just about every card. I used to have a beryl #32 and loved the way the colors mixed.

Still waiting to hear from someone that hits a 1btc or 1eth redemption card.

What was your favorite this far.  Those unopened boxes getting more appealing as no news of big hits goes on.   Look at the a &g 2018 x packs. With a couple of mini reds I NV accounted for those 300 dollar boxes went for over  12k
My favorite card is the MR5 holofoil, with that gold  boarder and rainbow effect looks amazing.

If I had to choose a favorite CS card, I would probably say either #36 miner or #37 halving

Base card favorite #35 whale

I can offer three arms and two legs. I need a week to procure them.
😂 They must come from the person making the trade, otherwise how could we tell they are not in gotten or lab grown

You must think, what’s between you arms and legs that you would be willing to trade, a kidney maybe, you got 2

Edit: What would you trade for a Diamond Refractor?

Has any 1/1 been found??. Also what has been single highest price for an individual card to date. A musk serial sold for over 400 but Ebay shows gold border meta rare highest in recent sales
There have been a couple of 1/1 Oynx cards found so far that we know of.
One is a Dogecoin MR2 that i think is still for sale on eBay

I also remember seeing that someone pulled that MR5 1/1 onyx  Shocked (The MR5 is easily my favorite, and what i think is the best-looking card of the set)
Check MJ's list here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5406560.msg61888083#msg61888083

No 1/1 Diamond cards have been received by users yet as far as i know, probably another few weeks before we start seeing pics of them.

Hey Jupityr, is there any update as to if PSA will accept submissions of these cards for grading?

Love this project btw, good work Smiley

Thanks for the kind words!

We have been working with Mike Baker Authenticated to get the catalog listed with PSA.  I've asked for an update, but haven't heard back on that yet.

I'm sure BGS will grade them though.  I can send Renee the checklist and answer any questions they may have.

J
Hey JUPITYR,

Are you able to give the community here any update regarding the discussions with Mike at PSA so collectors can have these cards graded?
I am guessing anyone receiving a Diamond would want to have it graded if possible

What price range you thinking for holo set?
The price range sounds like between an arm and a leg
Personally I would choose a leg, arms are more useful and I wouldn’t want to bargain for anything “in between” 😂

As usual, since i have already won one of these great 3D-printed coins, if my number comes up - let it roll again  Cool
(I have had a bit of luck with #81 in the past, so like playing for the fun of it and to see if it is lucky for me again)

Here is what we know so far:

It looks like a #53 Litecoin Gold was pulled in this break, but i couldn't see a number on the back when shown (possible error card)
https://youtu.be/OY5S8P4oWXs?t=5855

Does anyone know who pulled this card?
