141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 06, 2013, 01:04:11 AM
Fiat is stinky beans imho. I plan to unload massive USD realllll soon.
Obvious troll is obvious.

Let me presume that you refer to "Jaroslaw." Yes I agree, if that is your intention.

Otherwise, you need a attitude adjustment. Stop the insults/accusations for little/no reason.

Your user name is Jaroslaw spelled backwards. Does this guy think we are idiots?

Too much pressure on Jaroslaw... It is his mental twin who want BTC price on a never seen high
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 06, 2013, 01:02:10 AM
new prediction: 180$ in 12-20 business days  Cool

until then?
143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Jarosław school of economy - price prediction club [PPC] on: July 06, 2013, 12:57:13 AM
Jarobutt is not a true believer and never was. The past few days, he revealed himself. In the end, I think it is best for the community to see his true colors.

inside everyone is red... Smiley
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Imminent fall ? on: July 06, 2013, 12:47:47 AM
Will need a USD-tsunami to stop these fractal things. Fortunately, I can do this. just hold on to your seats.

I am just wondering how a jr member who's account not even 24 hours old could do this. Unless he is an evil other half of a bearish person.
145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Jarosław school of economy - price prediction club [PPC] on: July 06, 2013, 12:40:02 AM

It is epic!

this deal is getting better and better with the cheap coins Smiley
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Down 30% in less than a week? Not Good on: July 05, 2013, 07:01:58 PM
I think I would have a little concern if I was long. 30% is alot when there isnt any bad news.

why do you feel it is bad news? It is an opportunity for ppl to discover this BTC world. Also someone's loss is someone's profit.

Miners are not earning the same amount? That's a bad luck for them (including myself...) but there were better times.. and there will be better times.
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker - Hardcore on: July 05, 2013, 06:48:00 PM
i dont want to piss you guys but i will dump about 8k this evening

No, you are not! Keep going Smiley What is your target? 30 USD? 25 USD? Or is it too high?
149  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: BFL 50gh/s miner on: July 03, 2013, 07:10:44 PM
I bought this miner on the 10th of April this year, assuming I get it by the end of July, do you think it will still be profitable?

LOL, Awesome!

+1

Thanks for the update.

Hi, unfortunately for you and my self, I have already done a deal. Dealing fast, is a double edge sword. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=235364.msg2499077#msg2499077

But if you still can't get rid of your chip credits, see me again, I might pick up 100 more for 2.85BTC.

Cheers,
QG

153  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs finally ship their first batch of Jalapenos on: April 23, 2013, 09:31:51 PM
Then I am in big trouble...  Undecided

Fuck them and their Jalapenos.  Angry            I want my hardware.

Don't worry. You'll be fine.

As long as you didn't order a Mini Rig.
Or a Single SC.
Or a Little Single SC.
Or a Jalapeno after July 2012.
154  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Shipps...no for realz... no really on: April 23, 2013, 09:30:20 PM
Anyone Has any info about the other products? I tried to ask it in an E-mail but no straight answer...

I did read somewhere they can not manufacture the promised products but they will ship that hashing power what we paid for.... I can't see 1500 ghahs will be shipped shortly... it make more sense to them to ship the small orders first and just after the mini rig orders....

Nice to see them screw over Single and minirig customers.

Same here.... Dashboard page tells me the workers are down in the last 3 hours. Cgminer shows me it is still working on the pool...

are stats not showing up for anyone else?

Here, site is showing my worker as off-line but cgminer is showing accepted shares.

same.....must be a gitch

if you check the graphs they are empty too. I guess their database is down...

159  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: First BFL ASIC! on: April 03, 2013, 02:52:06 PM
I believe this huge amount of talk about the first device delivery because few people put some bobs on the table... That is fine... (if you like gambling...) But at this point i feel somebody try to cheat... (last minute video with a test board...)

Although, this is 3rd of April. Over the Easter holidays... and still... I can't see any official announcement from BFL about the shipment. As far I am considered that product what was shipped / not shipped is a test board for a developer (paid or not paid by BFL that's an other question).

Couldn't find any proud video / picture / post from BFL where we could see the ASIC mining continuously. That video what was uploaded was not the final product, it was not in the box what will be used to ship products to users, it was on the same test desk what we saw earlier, etc. At least i hope my ASIC rig will be nicely packaged. That is an other question when it will happen (in April or in December...).

BFL/Josh, when will you receive the new PCB? When will you have the final product ready and start to ship to users? (talking about real delivery not about the shipping of the developer units)

I am afraid to ask for any compensation for this huge delay (I am talking about promised first delivery in October). Every day is a huge loss for your customers who put faith in you and supported this development with their money!

From the ASIC Update thread:
Quote
28 March 2013 - Mini-Update

I had wanted to post a video tonight, but wasn't able to make that happen, so let me apologize for that in advance. As some of you may know from the chatbox, we have been working diligently to get these ASICs out the door. We've been tracking down a power issue these last few days and have it isolated to a few key systems. In the interest of time, we are planning on potentially scaling back units hashing speed as required to accommodate the extra power and shipping multiple units to those that want their units right now. If would would prefer to wait for a unit after we've made some changes to the systems that need a bit of tweaking, we will be happy to put your shipment on hold. However, if you'd rather have the units right now at an increased power usage, we will ship you as many units as required to get you to the hashrate your purchased, if we end up having to scale back any given class of unit to fit within the power envelope of the current board design.

We have the current design hashing, and as I said, I had hoped to have a video of a unit hashing here in KC, but I wasn't able to bring that all together tonight, but hopefully I can get it posted up tomorrow or by this weekend. I will update as soon as I have more news to share, with a video.

If you absolutely do not want a unit that is consuming more power than expected, you can let us know you'd like to wait for a revised unit or you are welcome to request a refund. If you'd rather have your units shipped regardless of increased power usage, we will still guarantee your hashrate by shipping you however many units are required to achieve your purchased hashrate. There is no need to contact us right now if you are not concerned about the power usage and just want your units shipped ASAP. Even with the increased power demand on these first units, they will still out perform any competing products by a very wide margin in terms of power and megahash/J.

Again, we apologize for the delay, but we are almost there.

I want to clarify the above post, as there is some potential confusion. We are not shipping yet. We plan on shipping possibly by the end of next week, but I will update on a shipping schedule as soon as I have more definitive information with regards to that.

Weaseling out of missed specs and so on Wink

Thanks for the reply! Really appreciated.

I did read through on the forums and i did come across these news earlier. Although it happened almost 1 week ago. Can't find any other fresh post. I found just some updates on twitter.  https://twitter.com/BFL_News  So I guess the quoted info about shipping products as it is mentioned in the quote is no stand any more. Is it a correct assumption?

Why BFL leave the community to guess what are the next steps?

I really miss the official update from them. Be quiet so long, release video what just make more speculation is not a very good strategic. At least not from my point of view...
What are the new specs what they mentioned???
