Dortmund have a golden opportunity to win Bundesliga this season since Bayern Munich are throwing points everywhere literally. Bochum, Wolfsburg and Augsburg should not be a problem for Dortmund to pass. M'Gladbach and Mainz aren't that hard but they are challenging in fact since these two teams are unpredictable. For Bayern, they will face Hertha, Bremen, Schalke, Leipzig and Koln. Almost all these games are granted if Bayern play the way we used to know. Maybe Leipzig will be quite challenging and Koln +/- Bremen might be a little bit annoying for them. At the end, I would like to see how far will Dortmund resist. The problem of Bayern Munich been defeated in every game is not even the fault of the players , Bayern Munich problem is changing coach at the wrong time. They are a different team when they are in the Europa League. Barcelona really needed this win after those poor performances in some of the previous games. After winning the title I want to see the same ambition from them for the Champions League title as well.
Barcelona currently cannot advance a lot in Champions League. I am pretty sure if they face Real Madrid in UCL right now they will lose. With this win they got a lot closer to be declared champions. They have to win 4 from the 8 matches left which isn't hard at all. Barcelona have a lot of work to do to consolidate the team. They have the best defence line in terms of goals received, they have a nice scoring ability but it still needs to be improved starting from the midfield to the opponent goalie. Otherwise, Sevilla are working hard to survive from relegation, they are 8 points away from it and they are now in the 12th position, pretty nice there! At the moment Barcelona is only concentrating on La Liga, the additional three points over Atletico Madrid have further strengthened them to immediately celebrate the championship party this season. Since Xavi's arrival, el barca has returned to being a team that has high competitiveness even though they have lost momentum in the Champions League and Copa del Rey but in my opinion this is normal because it can be said that the condition of the Blaugrana is currently in a transition period. You can blame Tuchel for everything, but it’s hardly his fault that Bayern flew out of the German Cup, then out of the Champions League and now risks losing the Bundesliga (lol). Big mistake from Bayern Munich management for sacking Nagelsmann. I think they fired him really early and Tuchel didnt have any impact on the team at all. Probobly the worst season for Bayern Munich in years. Dortmund already leading 2-0 and will be first if they win this match No one knows how things would have been under Nagelsmann, but now they are as bad as possible for Bavaria. In some ways, this reminds me of the situation with Chelsea, where they fired Tuchel and things got even worse. I hope that Dortmund will take the title this year - the last time, by the way, after the 29th round, they were in the lead under Klopp and then they were able to take the title. If Nagelsmann is still coach of Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich should have been doing better. It was pretty much a dull game with both team acting very cautiously but in the end Manchester United won by penalty shootout now setting up a Manchester derby, I have strong feelings that city would win this one.

That was unexpected, they played without good coordination always losing the ball and allowing Mainz players to be free in their penalty box, is it possible for Munich to score 2 goals with less than 10 minutes remaining? maybe they'll concede another goal.

Napoli will play aggressively to find a win and forget about their failure in Champions League. They can beat Juventus and take it an own gift to forget Champions League defeat days ago. It will help Napoli to come closer to Scudetto which mostly belongs to them.
Juventus just have a big change in this week, from no hope to participate in top four to jump directly to a third position. At least they are in a safe place now but they must play well to keep up their position because there are AS Roma, AC Milan and Inter Milan are wanting to join top four and differences are not big among those clubs.
Napoli are in a better position as their lead is too big to someone can threaten them and Juventus still needs to keep their place in the top 4 as Milan and Roma are too close to them. Therefore, I think that Juventus can count on points in this match. We need to see what mood Napoli will be in after the elimination from the Champions League, after all, the last matches they didn’t look as confident as at the beginning of the season. We have Roma vs Leverkusen and Juventus vs Sevilla in the semi finals. Juventus & Roma stand out as big clubs who may be favourites to make the final but I have a sneaky feeling Leverkusen might get to the final. Xabi Alonso was a very clever footballer and he seems to be doing well since he took over there. I’m rooting for Leverkusen, I think Alonso will get them to the final.
For Sevilla to have gotten to this stage of the competition they have good chances of winning europa. Sevilla has always have a better performance in the Europa League more than their home league laliga. If Juventus succeds in winning Sevilla in semi-finals that means the championship will go to them and it is good achievement for them. |
