142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: FeatherCoin 0.8.7.0 - NeoScrypt based cryptocoin on: January 01, 2015, 08:38:26 PM
Today, rent a rig with 32 M neoscrypt power, I am wondering what kind of machine provide that much of power? I really want to have one

Not that many gpus  Grin

I think somebody find a way to design an ASIC, otherwise, is it even possible to have that much of GPU.

Feathercoin doesnt want to stay completely away from asics, which isn't possible, but it should protect FTC for at least 1-2 years.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or Bitcoin on: January 01, 2015, 08:22:49 PM
The development is still going and in my opinion Ripple will be placed side by side with bitcoins soon.

We must have trusty alternates. Ripple is a 100% premined coin. The optimal value for a 100% premined coin like this one: 1XRP at $0 maximum.

You can not premine a mine-less coin, and of course you can't mine ripple either, moreover you cant buy large shares of it. this is the real original market the pure core stuff in which we trust http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ripple/
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price are dropping? on: January 01, 2015, 08:08:37 PM
Well, despite the current low price of btc, at least we can take a look at the postive side, it took 11 months to crash it from $1200 but it only took 2 months from $150 too $1200 last year

146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Is NOT Dead (It Is Just Dying A Slow Death) on: December 31, 2014, 01:22:06 PM
Guys so predictable we all know the LTC will go up. If there is a coin that I can put my faith in is LTC.

Technically litecoin has lot of advantages but at the moment bitcoin has lot more mass and momentum
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many addresses do you think the average bitcoin user has? on: December 31, 2014, 01:13:36 PM
I have 150 addresses to use in my daily transactions. I think anyone with loads of bitcoins would be smart and should have multi addresses for them not just all in one so people won't know where are all coins
148  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Number of BTC Addresses in use now on: December 31, 2014, 01:10:06 PM
Can anyone tell me that out of 2^160 addresses possible...

How much is 2^160 in a linear format? Or how many quadrillions are there? Are you competing in addresses mining using reverse asics to get some speed?

I dont know how to say it in quadrillions but in linear format, 2^160 = 1,460,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 addresses. That's really a big number
149  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you handle lost? on: December 31, 2014, 11:10:43 AM
I only bet small amount (or bet from faucets) so I dont care much about the losses. If I lose, I will stop playing for that day and never think of it again.. and start over on the next day
150  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lucky Bitz - a free, fun and unique way of winning bitcoin! Download now! on: December 31, 2014, 11:05:07 AM
Do we need to post our btc address to get a free ticket ?

153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 31, 2014, 10:28:45 AM
green chart on wisdom, bitfinex and stamp pumping the price at a good pace, if we keep rising like this we'll go over 315 by night
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: December 30, 2014, 11:38:50 PM
I will keep holding all my coins although 90% of traders just wanna increase their fiat speculating at btc markets, sad but true Sad
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stellar -- is it? on: December 30, 2014, 11:30:05 PM
By looking at the chart, you will see that stellar is trending higher while bitcoin is getting lower each day. Stellar has broken away from every other coin because it is unique. If it's going up while everything else is going down, it will only go up faster if everything else goes up..
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ripple price going mad right now? on: December 30, 2014, 11:19:13 PM
if a coin (no matter which) has few sell-orders, then it will be pumped, leading to fools trying to "catch the train" and thereby boosting the volume. but that doesn't happen, while sell-orderbook is stuffed. Ripple is a good example of it
157  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Indonesia, A Country Edging Towards Bitcoin on: December 30, 2014, 10:34:58 PM
Good article, and yes we have more and more people in Indonesia using/trading bitcoin every day. People in Indonesia can freely use Bitcoin at their own risk, because there is no regulation towards it.

Eventhough we (Indonesian people) can freely use bitcoin but we can't use it in any kind of payment inside Indonesia. What we can do here in Indonesia is treating Bitcoins as commodities instead of currencies, and obliging people to exchange their coins to fiat before making transactions, that's what an exchange (eg: bitcoin.co.id) is for.

159  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is mining that profitable? on: December 28, 2014, 12:55:02 AM
Mining might be profitable as of now. Not certain about an year later , when the difficulty increases.

Eventhough difficulty is decreasing, mining same btc just got extended by one full day. But the good news is: when mining becomes harder, no more bitcoins to dump, price of bitcoin will skyrocket
160  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: If you had 10K to invest would you mine Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2014, 12:42:26 AM
I will split the money into some investments, put half in bitcoin / alt coins trading, and the rest to buy some cloud mining contracts. I will never invest them in mining hardware, never !
