141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin you hold for Next Bull Run on: October 29, 2021, 07:44:39 AM
Mine are the same as most others.. ETH, ADA, BTC, and MATIC. However, I also like ALGO and SKALE.
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Opinions according to the current market situation on: June 15, 2021, 09:06:18 AM
I don't see the market as being boring right now. I think it's a great time to be buying and I've been trying to do other small projects to earn extra cash so I can dump it into the market. Things might seem a little slow right now, but that gives you more time to do research and try to load up on coins and tokens!
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Have you given up on airdrop? on: May 20, 2021, 08:09:44 AM
I've participated in some pretty good airdrops in the past (my favorite probably being the Energi one).. however, I also came to the realization one day that airdrops for the most part, are worthless. These days it's gotten even worse. I joined about 10 of them a couple months back and just like you, never got a single token. It seems these days most airdrops are just a waste of time and they're just using you to get some free promotion. You can quickly find 100 airdrops to participate in these days, but it seems like only a few out of those 100 will actually be legit..
144  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you believe magic real? on: May 20, 2021, 07:50:08 AM
Magic is all about illusion. No, it isn't real, but I personally still love to watch a good magician. The best magicians are so good with their sleigh of hand and making things look like they're real that you will be swearing up and down it is. But c'mon everyone, even the best magicians will tell you that magic isn't real. The only thing real about it is them tricking your brain, which is also pretty cool!
145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: May 20, 2021, 07:37:12 AM
There are several things I look for when choosing an exchange. Honestly, I only use about 3 different exchanges and wouldn't even have to do that if Coinbase offered more coins and tokens.

First thing I look for is reputation. I want an exchange that is reputable with lots of reviews and details across the web. I want to see them advertising and I want to see them being used by lots of people. If I could out and Google "Coinbase" for instance, I would see enough information to make me feel comfortable using them. I would also probably start to see adds after searching them which tells me they are a profitable company and spend money to advertise their service.

Second thing I look at is the company. I live in the US, so I prefer a US company with a US address and at least registered with the BBB (Better Business Bearue). If your exchange is based in Panama or Nigeria or something, then nothing against you but it probably isn't an exchange I want to use.

Finally, I like to look at what tokens/coins are offered. I don't buy/trade just one crypto, so I want an exchange that offers several of them.
146  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Issues. on: May 20, 2021, 07:24:58 AM
Bitcoin is just as volatile as any other currency or stock. I would agree there is a certain part of the population that looks at it as more of an asset than investment - kind of like gold. However, I personally don't think Bitcoin has the price volatility that many other coins have. If someone were telling me they wanted to buy just one cryptocurrency to hold for the next 10 years - I would tell them to buy Bitcoin because I think it's the most stable.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: Too late? on: May 20, 2021, 07:07:41 AM
It's not too late at all.. In fact, with what's happened in the market this week it could actually be a great time to buy. With there only being a limited amount of Bitcoin in existence, I think there is plenty of time to get in. We are still decades away from the last Bitcoin being mined. Until then, I really think the price will only continue to go up, minus some retractions here and there..
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase adding dogecoin on: May 20, 2021, 06:39:35 AM
Musk has been calling for this now for a little while, and Coinbase finally caved. Honestly, I thought this was going to happen it was only going to be a matter of time. In my opinion, prepare for DOGE to take another jump once Coinbase adds them. Elon Musk always seems to get what he wants Grin
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you get your news about Crypto? on: May 20, 2021, 06:25:44 AM

150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron is number one coin Now Specially trc20 USDT on: May 20, 2021, 06:18:40 AM
I'm holding lots of tron and have watched it gain value over the past couple years. One thing I like about the coin is that it's still really cheap and personally, I don't think it's going anywhere. I feel similar about Stellar as well (trades around $0.60 now and I can remember when Stellar was trading for what Tron is at right now)... Another huge plus are the transaction fee's on Tron - they're still very low!!
151  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any of you video editor ? on: May 20, 2021, 06:09:26 AM
I make videos pretty regularly and always use Camtasia. You're not happy with the videos you get from it? Adobe Premiere Pro is suppose to be pretty good and I know it's pretty popular. Plus, it's pretty affordable and I think students can get a discount..
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is reality! on: May 20, 2021, 06:02:50 AM
For me personally, I don't follow Musk and never will. However, I do think it's a little crazy that one person could have so much influence over the crypto market. I agree with you that it seems like he played his followers in a sense - for BTC he bought low and got the ball rolling, then sold high. For DOGE he probably stocked up on a useless coin he got for less than $0.01/each, then starting pumping it and drove it upwards of $1. If it were Wallstreet that might be illegal, but not in the cryptocurrency world..
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Angry on: May 20, 2021, 05:54:49 AM
The news from China does suck, but if you really believe in crypto just look at this as another set back and it will bounce back. I don't know where you got the idea of 3 years to recover from this? Look how much Ethereum is up still just over the past few months! The market was do for a correction and the news from China didn't help, but don't get angry. You just need to be patient and wait for the market to bounce back some. It sucks if you need the money, because I think at this point your better to just hold then sell at the low's we're seeing now, just my opinion..
