Was just discussing on IRC about a feature like Elite Club to be included in the wallet. For eg. only those with more than 100k SFR in the wallet, can access the elite club.
Elite members will get various benefits. This would also give a reason to hold SFR especially essential for a POW coin. This is something like a Gold Membership like you get some benefits being a Gold member on various places.
At present, haven't thought of what facilities we can provide to elite members. Pho suggested that they can trade for 0% fee on cryptoxindia and also get some shares.
Can u all suggest some more?
Is selective staking possible? Right now the coin is pure POW, but what if somebody hold their 100k coin in the wallet for 2 weeks it can start staking? They will receive % of profit from CryptoxIndia Exchange by time of they hold their coins in wallet. Also , Holders can trade for 0% fee during holding time. Guys I am doing crypto full time. I have developed many projects. I was even hired to develop the alias feature of the wallet for syscoin. I have been doing many projects side by side for months. But my team has always delivered for SFR. Right? Vvxxcoin community contacted me for developing and reviving the coin. I agreed. I do crypto for a living now. I have done and will be doing many projects. I don't understand the big issue behind it. Those guys are only using my name to prove legitimacy to the coin so people don't think it is another scam. I am totally fine with that . I told them that I would do a few releases for them and they need to bring in more developers. SFR has always been priority and will always remain a priority. I guess I am a capable dev in the industry and if I can contribute my knowledge to revive coins or make shitcoins into good coins, i would happily do it. I hope this post gives you a clear understanding. I have made many projects before but since this is the only that is out in the open, many of you are a bit taken back. I can assure you there is nothing to be worried about. I like the new devs plan. Buy up 2/3 of the total coin for 2 btc then try to revive and dump for a big profit. If anyone is stupid enough to pay him off then grats him. Just as a disclaimer, dont own 2/3 of the supply. In fact I dont have a very large position in the market. These are real developments. I am a trusted dev. Your a fucking idiot if you think we believe you didn't buy up all that coin yesterday to do this bullshit takeover today. Fuck off. It makes it a lot easier to tell who is a interested investor vs a troll. Also I am a strong supporter of SaffronCoin, and because of the trust and confidence in SFR's dev, I am going to look into this coin. But I might need a little more information before investing Consider Sync coin, low supply, accumulated for months, and for all intensive purposes it was dead; but, then the coin was taken over by someone who was dedicated to the coin's future and who actually had a use case for the coin. People need to calm down and wait to see what the future developments actually are before making any accusations or investing. People who are investing now are taking a risk because they don't have all the information, so if you're not confident or are skeptical of the coin, just wait If anyone is fudding the thread while buying up the coin on ccex, then you sir are a complete asshole and a disgrace to the beauty that is human decency. |

It's amazing , why no one here it is weird~
No hype team or pump team or whale group. Maybe 1 whale in here just trying to keep the price down for now. Who knows but that's why other coins with nothing going for it go up and down and make people rich, they have hype and pump groups. Also theres no need to pump sfr, which is why its great. There is a great natural curve slowly rising curve that provides more than enough buy support to combat miner dumping (obviously a whale can suppress the price but imo that's not natural movement). Anyone familiar with crypto is well aware how big of an impact "The East" has had and will continue to have over bitcoin and many alternative crypto-currencies. This impact as many are estimating will have a greater impact than any single person or group could have on the coin. So why disrupt the inevitable? SFR separates itself from most other coins with this fact: the sfr developers created, and community supported, a coin that is poised to benefit and contribute towards crypto-currency adoption in literally untapped markets. SFR exemplifies "a battle against time". This will be no short journey, but it will a great, highly rewarding one. |

I would probably be leaving to Shanghai for the Bitcoin Expo to give a talk on Saffroncoin. Would be leaving on 17/18 this month. I will be travelling with the Unocoin team. They have been chosen as panel speakers. They would give me a few minutes of their allotted time. Will confirm once we get the Visas which should be in a day or two.
Past couple of days, we have been researching on how to make PeerMarket implementation better. Especially because of OpenBazaar. It has a great UI and has web based content for easier use. Many others are building their markets on OpenBazaar such as Razor's RZRoad.
But we do not want to go the OpenBazaar way. We want to be unique and build PeerMarket as an asset and have great UI just as OpenBazaar but different from it.
We have decided to implement the counterparty protocol for this. Initially we wanted to use this protocol for SFRDirect. But PeerMarket can be built as an asset on top of SFRDirect. This would also not cause bloating of the main blockchain.
SFRDirect will contain a decentralized exchange and PeerMarket. Later we will develop a host of decentralized services built on top of SFRDirect.
The currency which the SFRDirect protocol will be using is Concentrated SFR (cSFR). cSFR will be produced by burning SFR which means you send your saffroncoins to an unspendable address.
SFRDirect is the protocol or a sidechain that would host a bunch of decentralized services hence not bloating the main chain.
We will try to have SFRDirect released by this month and I will give u an update before leaving to China.
We have already started working on this and are setting up the requisites for the counterparty protocol.

This is the mock of the mobile/DTH top-up service with crypto-currencies (SFR & BTC only at present). It is a very useful feature for those with prepaid connections. Instead of just trading SFR, why not also use it to recharge your mobile which is a daily need! Again all this integrated in the upcoming wallet. We will be the first to provide this feature within the wallet. We are calling Precharge for now which is basically Prepaid-Recharge. Our wallet already has a lot of features which could look a bit piled on. So we are planning to categorize some features. We may add something called SFRCore that contains the best of SFR. We are increasing the frequency of our developments now. We are planning to hire some more developers this month. We will be doing multiple developments together like the market, centralized exchange, decentralized exchange altogether. Once we get the local media PR done, we will start looking for extra developers. The coming few months are going to be really big with some great technical developments and some mainstream implementations.  Wow this looks so awesome, great job guys! I have no idea how you guys keep up on and track all your developments because i'm thoroughly impressed It's nice to see a coin legitimately strive towards mainstream adoption instead of solely being used in speculative manners. I think instead of categorizing features into SFRCore features vs non-core features, it might be beneficial to group/categorize features based on their function. so in the wallet instead of the wallet sections being labeled by the name of the feature they could be labeled for the general purpose they serve, and features would be grouped together. Watching with big eyes  I hope we have a bit time until ipo starts I am proposing to Poloniex a 2 week period. First day investors getting 15% bonus, then 14%, 13% ... At the end of two weeks, as long as some minimum percentage of the total amount raises is still coming in, it will be extended. 1/14 = ~7% so say 3% threshold. Once we get a day where less than 3% of the total is raised, then that announces that there will be 2 or 3 more days and done. I dont want to drag this out for more than a month, so max is 4 weeks. This will give enough time for everyone who is paying attention to get their proportional share. No limits for total or for individual. I guess a minimum of some sort dont want to be dealing with satoshi level shares. Such things for Poloniex to determine 5% bonus for BTCD or NXT deposits At the end of the IPO, I put in my assets and get my share calculated along with everyone else. Then since it is already on Poloniex, they send the amounts to everyones accounts and trading starts. Its actual instantiation will be as a NXT asset, so it will also trade on NXT AE James Hey James, excited to hear about the new project sounds very interested. Thanks mate! The Timeline is great. You must have taken those dates by studying the posts from the beginning. That is a lot of effort. The timeline is a good thing because many new coins are coming up with features that we first pioneered and then claiming they brought it out first. Thanks man It did take a little timing reading through all the ann pages, but it was well worth it! It's crazy how coins will get pumped for just having one or two of the features we've had for a while now, yet we still remain unnoticed by many. But I have a feeling all this is starting to change, and saffroncoin and the devs are beginning to get the recognition deserved. |

Hey everyone! So i definitely spend too much time on the sfr irc over this thread, and I am going to change that. We all need to spend more time and post more here. It help gets exposure and it helps bond the community together Besides the brochures that I have been working on I have also been working on the following project: http://imgur.com/k5ua9OiThe majority of people are not aware of all the sfr has to offer, and even more so, these people have no idea of constant development by the sfr devs since launch. We have so much to offer and we want to let people know. After discussing with a few people on the irc, my plan is to create a timeline from launch day to present time highlighting all major accomplishments, features/developments, and updates/hardforks. This will allow people to have a more holistic view of sfr development. Very few coins have as committed and skilled devs as sfr and we need to highlight this. It's not near being final, as I plan to make it more of a graphic timeline with less words. Please feel free to love over the features and updates I included and make sure to point out any that I missed. I do not intend to be rude or take away from LXC's accomplishments, but only to provide accurate information. LXC is the 3rd POS staking wallet for iOS (to my knowledge). Raxe.io released a iOS staking app for Distrocoin about a week ago and ShadowCoin released an iOS staking wallet yesterday. But congrats to the LXC dev and community for this truly is impressive! A Call to the Community: It's become clear, because I even fall blame to this, that the majority of people within the crypto-currency community are not aware of all that SFR has to offer. Roshan and the rest of the SFR Development Team have not been getting nearly the recognition they deserve, however they continue to fight on under-promising and over-delivering. While it is important to determine the reason for this lack of awareness, I began focusing on solutions. So how do we fix this? Do we hire a PR team? Do we promote from within and start a social media campaign? Do we continue to release these amazing features and look for future business partnerships and ignore the lack of attention assuming it come? Personally, I do not think there is one answer, and any idea I or anyone else comes up with, could spark interest and finally give SFR the attention it deserves. The Devs have done more than we could have asked from them, and I don't think their going to be slowing doing or disappointing us anytime soon. These are some of the most dedicated and skills guys I have come across and I'm honored to be in the same community as them But WE AS A COMMUNITY need to step up. All of the most successful coins have great development teams, but they also have constructive contributions from the community. If you are doing things to help the coin, no matter how small they may be, I applaud and respect you and I hope you continue your efforts. When I first got involved in crypto I felt very small within coin communities and thought what can I do? I have no technical skills? I'll just sit and watch what happens. I probably had some good ideas and probably some very poor ideas lol but I had ideas nonetheless and I had wished I shared them with the communities. It doesn't always matter if your idea good, but constructive discussions about a coin's future can help a coin in more ways you can imagine. But that all sounds so vague NightMan (if that's even you're real name) what specifically can I do to help? The simple answer is that you can do anything I can't tell you what to do, and this alludes to what an exchange of ideas is so important, but crypto-currency communities are so diverse and are made up of people with all socioeconomic, political, vocational, and personal backgrounds. Not any two people in any coin community are the same and everyone (even if you don't believe it) always has something unique and useful to bring to the table Over the past weeks I have been increasingly more active on the IRC (#SFRCoin) which I strongly recommend everyone visiting. The past couple days I have just been blasting the devs and community with literally any idea that comes across my head. Some people probably find it annoying and I apologize, but I know if I keep throwing out ideas we're bound to find a diamond in the rough So in an effort to encourage/inspire other community members to step and to receive feedback/criticism from the community I will share here everything i've been talking about on IRC. Please note that none of these ideas have been "officially endorsed" by the dev team and I in no way speak on their behalf. Now time for the good stuff Promotion and Awareness: In an effort to spread awareness and to promote the coin, I thought it'd be beneficial to develop a Brochure, which would serve as a more high level and newbie friendly version of our white paper. The goal would be to create an aesthetically pleasing document that contains background info about SFR as well as our key features and upcoming developments. My thought was to have two versions: 1. A hard copy version which could actually be printed out and distributed in person 2. A digital “one-page” that could be easily distributed through various mediums online. Also, I think this could reduce Fudding, because if the majority of issue related posts are submitted via the help form and not through a BCT Post, the Fud posts in which issues claim inaccurate issues would be easier identifiable. The second part is a mailing list where people could sign up for to receive notice of updates as wells as future developments/posts by the Dev team in the BCT Ann.
