143  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should it be legal to be high? on: June 11, 2014, 07:39:57 PM
Being high itself should not be illegal.

Problem with drug is the abuser usually neglect his own personal responsibility to live a normal life and causing pain and grief to those who are close to him.

For someone with self control, I have no objection doing whatever you like so long as you are not stealing, robbing to get high.

144  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Philosophy] World in 100 years will look like .. on: June 11, 2014, 07:36:25 PM
Human conflict is inevitable. Hence, there will most likely be another world war.

Which country will finally emerge to rule all other nations will be hard to say.

145  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you do not have a years supply of water, buy it now on: June 11, 2014, 07:34:40 PM
What is you prediction? Global war? Global warming?

Global war.

It will be conducted in a dirty way like biological and chemical warfare that will taint the food and water supply.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Working in USA on: June 11, 2014, 07:32:26 PM
Hmm, the opportunity in the business world in the USA is huge, not sure about the UK though.

Not really true anymore.

Getting every license needed to start a business isn't easy. Insurance, health and labor law compliance also mean the cost is prohibitively high for anyone trying to start a business.

147  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Uber on: June 11, 2014, 07:29:32 PM
Value is a subjective thing.

A product is worth as much as the market is willing to pay for it.
148  Economy / Economics / Re: eBay to allow settlements in crypto on: June 11, 2014, 07:10:35 PM
Ebay will never associate with Crypto's especially Bitcoin. Ebay owns PayPal and PayPal is completely against crypto's.

Same reason Ebay do not allow google checkout or other payment processor.

They own Paypal and want to protect their own business interest.

150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question about making trading site ? ? ? on: June 11, 2014, 07:06:32 PM
It takes more than just IT skill to run an exchange.

You need someone who know the in and out of bitcoin to operate one.
151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware of LocalBitcoins.com on: June 11, 2014, 07:03:47 PM
I am not against competition, far from it.

I ask because I am curious:  what exactly do they think will make people use their service instead of someone else (localbitcoins for example).

In other words:  what is their unique selling proposition?  What sets them appart?  What makes them better?

If they do not have a differentiating factor then they are just a "me too".  Nothing wrong with that really but I won't move to another site unless it is better in some way.

Localbitocin unique position is let local buyer and seller trade with each other rather than relying on the traditional banking system to use wire to transfer money aboard to one of the main exchanges to buy and sell.
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Silk road related site on: June 11, 2014, 06:52:17 PM
Hello,
Is there any Silk road site right now on the internet which is real and not scam? If so can you help me register and use it? Never used tor browser before, is there any specific thing to know when using Tor? I will appreciate any help.
Thanks!

PS also not sure if here is the place to ask...

There are loads of them.... see this list:

http://www.deepdotweb.com/2013/10/28/updated-llist-of-hidden-marketplaces-tor-i2p/

Hahahaha!

Thanks for the link and for the trouble to register an account just to give us the link!

Hats off to you sir!

Watch out for two things:

1) Getting scammed.
2) Getting arrested.

153  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Now thought crime is terror in U.S.? on: June 11, 2014, 06:51:05 PM
I think Snowden did a great job at telling the world about this information.
The more people know about this, the better.

Most people already know the government is spying on them.

Snowden just give the population the proof they need, and I do not think he did it to serve the general public. More likely a personal glory thing.
154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitfinex | Offer Swap question on: May 28, 2014, 02:18:02 PM
Lending rate isn't always high. Also take wire fee into account.
155  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why the US dollar collapse is assured on: May 28, 2014, 02:13:13 PM
US dollar going down the sink is not the end of the world.

The rest of the world can work fine without US bombing the crap out of everyone.
156  Other / Politics & Society / Re: you get Richer as the Older You’ll Get on: May 28, 2014, 02:11:40 PM

158  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fidel Castro lived like a king in Cuba, book claims on: May 28, 2014, 02:07:49 PM

160  Economy / Economics / Re: Wondered whos pushing BTC price? Here is the answer. on: May 28, 2014, 02:02:37 PM
