I have come to stay in this community and thought of one thing which has been bothering me.
Relating from our traditional banks where a bank customer dies and all his assets remains unclaimed by his relatives. I was once told that there was a bank manager who withdrew funds from there customer dormant accounts hopefully that the owners are dead as those account has been dormant for years without any form of activity on the account, it happens when no relative knows about the account for them to lay claims.
Similarly to bitcoin what happens in the event of my dismissal since no relative knows about my investment. It doesn't really make sense if my family can't enjoy my wealth. Will it be lost or is it good to entrust someone incase I'm no longer there?
If a bitcoin investor does not share his wallet with his relatives, then after his death, his invested wallet will be lost forever or remain in a state where no one can use his bitcoins. There are hundreds of such Bitcoin wallets where even though there are many Bitcoins, the Bitcoins of those wallets remain unused until now only due to the absence of the owner. At some point these wallets will be considered dead wallets or lost wallets and the circulating supply will decrease from the total Bitcoin supply. |

There is no problem in taking screenshot of bitcoin transaction but sharing screenshot of bitcoin in your wallet can definitely cause your security issues. In particular, many people store bitcoins in mobile wallet or computer wallet, they should not share these screenshots online and any time due to this screenshot, there may be a problem regarding personal security, i.e. there is a possibility of facing a terrible situation like kidnapping.

I don't know if bitcoin mining has anything to do with environmental change, but if there is any carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide released in bitcoin mining, it will definitely cause environmental damage. As far as I know bitcoin mining only consumes electricity and no carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide is emitted so bitcoin mining is not responsible for any part of the weather and climate change in the environment.

Bitcoin may reach million dollars but I can't predict how many years in the future it may reach. Although it is an uncertain possibility, Bitcoin will reach millions of dollars in the future in the 21st century.
However, Bitcoin is very close to $100k and bounces back to $64,000. I think it could go over $100k anytime after the April halving but million dollars of bitcoin lost is a matter of time and I can't guarantee that I'll see it in my lifetime.

The year 2120 may come to earth but in that year 2140 I may not be alive on earth especially at the current average life expectancy of human being I have spent 40% of my life time so I may not be alive till 2100. Now my current age is 27 years so in 2140 my age will be 146 years which is not possible for a human being to live that long. Or in some other way there is no guarantee that one will live to be 146 unless a miracle occurs.

I have around 2.1k in btc rn and was wondering if I should sell it and invest in a couple of altcoin projects, would that be a good idea? I know Bitcoin will never ever do another 5x in the near future haha so that's kind of why I would wanna sell. The market cap of btc would have to reach a very high amount for it to be life-changing money to me.

In the current coin market, many Meme Coins have entered the market, among these meme coins, I think the most favorite is the Book of Meme (BOME) coin. I don't have any particular reason behind this though as I invested $50 and made a profit of $130 and sold at $180. Hello  One day, a few years ago now, I had ~100 bitcoins on Old Usb Key. I didn't remember having them, as I'd had them at the very beginning. This USB key was lying around in a drawer, as I imagine a lot of people have I remembered that I had a Bitcoin wallet not long ago and I tried to find my USB key, without success. This story makes me sad, because if I'd known, I'd have been more careful! Moral: be careful with your stuff, even if it's old :p It is very sad to read your story. Also, your issue is so important now that not having wallet security or not caring about wallet security is something you will regret later. Your 100 bitcoins are currently worth millions of dollars while the security of bitcoins on the crime USB drive is not working well, much to your regret. So preserving the security system of the wallet is very important thing that everyone should take seriously. |

If Bitcoin is haram according to Islamic Shari'ah then performing Hajj with Bitcoin money will not be halal. Many have compared Bitcoin to a legitimate business because Bitcoin is considered a legitimate income. If Bitcoin is a halal income then performing Hajj from the money invested in Bitcoin will not be considered haram.

It would be much more profitable to keep money in the bank instead of depreciating it due to inflation but to convert that money into bitcoins. Keeping money in bank is very risky in my country so I can't agree to keep money in bank for now. So I took the long term holding plan by converting my savings into bitcoins and keeping them in the wallet.
