price is stuck between trendline from 0.0051 - 0.004341 (log) and 6h ma20 and i suspect it's going to go up at least temporally, because it has stayed above 6h ma20 and action near 0.0038 seemed like bottoming process, would be nice cup and handle if we go to 0.0051 and then take little breather and then go strongly up
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 16, 2014, 06:28:35 PM
guys help me defend 0.004! my bid is at 0.004011 and its almost eaten =D

EDIT. ...and it's gone, now we can go up

Why you want to defend anything?
Just buy as low as you can and sell as high as you can.
If you expect there will be much higher after some period of time, just hold.

i was jk, i meant that now is good time to buy (a little at least)

@ myself, surely some people do. And some of us just want to learn. Other counts can be interesting to see what progress is being made with that   Smiley
The Wave IV triangle was an interesting post as it is something I've been watching. Interesting that Ryan is seeing the same thing as an option.
Kinda ironic that you're the one asking for a PAMM  Wink
I said earlier that looks like we are not going to break 500 so I'm too leaning more to option like that triangle, there's some indecision going on that makes it hard to guess that are we seeing correction to 530-550 or do we go down from here. Looks like daily ma20 is important.

It's true that I'm not familiar with EW, but I think It's better to learn from more probable counts than if Ryan posts many more options and doesn't write long explanations with them and long explanations takes time so I figured it would be better that he concentrates just to few most probable counts.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 12, 2014, 02:58:40 PM
6h ma20 seems to be important in xmrbtc and 50% fibo at 0.004, both broke down just now, if we get little more volume i predict that we see lower low (after 0.0051 top), highs have been lower too, bear market is not over yet

We should not fight the market. If it wants to go down, there is no one single holder that can prevent it. The MEW group could try to prop up the price but what's the meaning? The group is there to build the economy around monero and not manipulate the price (I don't condemn Warz' heroic effort to defend 400 but fact is it failed - but he got lots of coin at a long term cheap price) I won't take part in concerted price manipulation.

The path of higher lows continues. It's up to the market how low we go. (If we don't go any lower after battling here for a time, and then go up, it is also a bullish sign.) A long-term negative sign would be to break 290 and I don't think that's in the cards..

i was just blathering because of this:

Can I hear the sad sound of an empty XMR wallet willing to buy <0.004?

I think it is conceivable that we see that figure again. But before that happens, I am quite much richer Smiley

=D

Hey Ryan, your posts have been really insightful and educational - thank you. One thing I think that would be really helpful would be some more focus on the alternate counts on shorter time frames - from my limited experience of EW counts, 'it is until it isn't' and that can result in a 'loss of centre' when a count is invalidated. Personally I find the shorter time frames extremely difficult to count and would appreciate any help you can give.

That's a suggestion, not a criticism - you are already giving a huge amount here and you surely have a large amount of eager pupils already  Wink

Are you asking me to just start spewing counts all over the place? 99% of which will just end up invalidated? I can do that, I'm just not sure if that is the most productive way to keep this thread. I mean, if that's what people want (more choices/ideas, and by default, more chance for error) I can do that. I don't have a problem with that. I have a ton of possible counts. Smiley

i would prefer that you show us just few most, what you think is the most probable counts, or at least say that this count is not very probable if you post not so probable counts, thank you =)

We should pay attention to not to overstress Ryan with our desires. Let him organize this thread how he prefers it to do. This is one of the most valuable threads if not the most valuable in this subforum and there are very few thread here with more value than at most entertainment, to not to say: trash.

agreed, my point was that how ryan has done this to this moment has been great, no reason to change that

Thanks for that buy wall tho, gonna be fun dumping into it. I love seeing stupid whales pur up walls and then lose money once DA price keeps going down cus of xms high as shit emission

If anyone was in the business of selling large amounts, he would have had plenty of opportunities yesterday, today and even as we speak.

I can only conclude that such people do not exist.

Shame. The walls are made by competing MEW members, who want to buy, and no one is selling.

Can I hear the sad sound of an empty XMR wallet willing to buy <0.004?

Let's not be so serious. MEW is gonna be real fun!!  Cool Grin

That wall is gone =P (pls pump it to 0.005 to show that your the man)

you guys have hunch about the next small top when last one was 492? looks like we are not breaking 500...

According to situation around Ukraine it should go high =) Probably higher than winter high

So everyone in Europe gets higher gas bills.  Sad
People are dying in Ukraine. Sad
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: September 09, 2014, 06:19:50 PM
Price has this funny way of sneaking up on a new low. Daily median already lower than on August 18/19, but current low still above the low of that day.

Happens more often, I think, last time in late March/early April, with one more capitulation (and new low) shortly afterwards.

Now, tell me why my analysis sucks, lucif Tongue

great find, avg price can be telling sometimes, this might be useful in uptrends also
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis never ends on: September 06, 2014, 04:31:47 AM
i come to see if masterluc have posted new wisdoms and all i can see is some crap about falling and rising
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ryans' log on: September 04, 2014, 05:05:38 PM
Quick update because I has ribs on the fire  Cool

For a bit there I was a little torn as to whether or nor we were still in the iv or if the 1 was complete with a short v. The EWO hinted toward the iv so the lower target remains and I've added the next target to look for. The wave-2 target is in the red box. I'm going to try this out when I post the same chart during the progress of a cycle. Red targets will be the new or next target to look for.

This drop will complete the 1 as shown by the divergence in the EWO. Without a huge spike and subsequent wall to suppress the price lower, the divergence will lock in and we will get our rise back to the $490's.

Good luck! Smiley

seems like this count was more valid after all?

Yep! The triangle chart was just another option Smiley
I will get an update out in a little while with some new targets

thanks =)
