I'm looking for a new ISP, someone could tell me the minimum bandwidth, RAM and blockchain storage? Thanks
Anybody? This is to run a masternode, I assume. 1. 12 GB/month 2. 256 MB w/ swap enabled (512 MB is safer). 3. 1.5 GB for the dash database. Thanks! I'm between buying a cheaper or share a vps from several mn

What he says? What is greenaddress?
Hi Fatov, someone asked about it last night so I went and read up on it, and made this observation: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg11900113#msg11900113 . I didn't understand the announcement thread on BCT, so I looked up the wiki: The thread is confusing to me, but according to this wiki: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Green_address I think the comparison is to DASH's instantX technology. The difference is that with Green_addresses, you must trust a server of some sort for correct information to check for double spends, and with instantX, we have the masternode network, which locks transactions, just like a miner would. This is done with the untrusted, distributed masternode network and thus has no double spend weakness. The dual network of miners and masternodes enables DASH to do many new things, and people are just not getting that. We have almost 3000 masternodes, with a 19 million dollar market cap. Bitcoin has less than 6000 full nodes (including miners and pools) with a 4 billion dollar market cap. Think on that. The above issue is also an issue with light wallets. Light wallets used on phones, etc... do not carry the entire blockchain and instead rely on a server to send them that information. If that server is compromised, it could mess up ability to make a payment. Soon, but not yet implemented, the masternode network will be doing this job for DASH light wallets, and therefore the blockchain will be "served up" via the network, not a trusted centralized source. DASH's dual network has solved a myriad of issues with Bitcoin. Really sorry I'm the only one around right now. Wish Toknormal could explain this stuff, he's really good Smiley ::cut:: I didnt see the answer, thanks!!

if there is some a big move into bitcoin in greece, say this time next year 10% of greek pop uses bitcoin and its accepted everywhere in greece we could very well see 32,000$ in less than 2 years. 10% of greece's pop is ~1 million poeple, assuming these 1million poeple hodl a 500$ balances in bitcoin we're looking at half a billion dollars pumped into bitcoin, but it won't stop there, having a real world economy use bitcoin is going to improve investor confidence, and i could easily see 10-20billion get pumped into bitcoin as a result, but it won't stop there, economies will crash around the world one by one, and seeing how greeks all got rich off of using bitcoin, they will all want to do the same thing, the decentralization of world domination is well under way! but it won't stop there aliens will come down from the heavens and buy bitcoin.
32.000$ Why these number?
