There is a known issue some are having with the new "Buy VeriCoin" button on some Windows systems. For certain windows users it's working well, others it is just showing a blank page. We are actively pursuing the cause of this issue and will be updating you all as soon as possible. However do note that if you upgraded to the new version, whether the buy button works or not doesn't effect the other functions of the wallet. So if you have this issue there is nothing to worry about. We are trying to figure this out as soon as possible. Mac and linux clients are unaffected by this issue. If you do have a blank page come up after letting it load for 10 seconds or more, please message me your Windows version and whether you have a 32 or 64 bit system. Thanks for your patience.

Bitcoin Conference in Chicago Although VRC will not have its own table at that event, the coin is still too small for that. Why have a table when you can have center stage?? |

Wow, just had to read through like 15 pages just to catch up due to all this crap from you Smoothie. Too bad there are people here that don't give a shit about what you have to say and can easily hit the ignore button like I will in a minute. I support what has been done and support the Devs and this whole community. I'm sorry that you feel the way you do but I suppose that's life. We definitely need to get off this crappy Bitcointalk since it only allows worthless pieces of shit to troll here and try to bring a good thing down which unfortunately is not going to happen. A few hours ago we were unfortunately the subject of a successful attack against the exchange. Our investigations have shown that whilst our security was breached, VeriCoin was the target. We would like to stress that VeriCoin and the VeriCoin network has not been in any way compromised. We have worked to secure the exchange and the withdraw process from any further attack.
As it stands at the moment the following applies:
1) We lost a considerable amount of VeriCoin in the attack, however we have been working with the VRC developers and all major exchanges to hard fork the coin at a position before the attack. This will allow us to retrieve the stolen coins and facilitate all withdrawals. We are also working with various exchanges to accommodate any losses they may encouter as a result of the required fork.
2) We are currently processing withdrawals for all other coins.
As I'm sure you will appreciate, our support channels will most likely be very busy over the coming hours/days so please bear with us.
We would like to personally extend our thanks to the VeriCoin developers and the other exchanges who have pulled out all of the stops to ensure that your VRC funds are safe.
Just read this also, hopefully everyone for the most part had their coins staking and not on the exchange.  |
