142  Economy / Economics / Re: Satoshi's Place in England, A Lucrative idea. on: September 19, 2022, 01:09:49 PM
it's very interesting to see how bitcoin is actually used in real world transactions.. but what concerns me is how is it regulated? did the local government not reprimand this place for not using the pound sterling? .. i'm really interested about that
143  Economy / Economics / Re: Development of bitcoin in Nigeria and it's economic effect on: September 19, 2022, 10:53:11 AM
to be honest, besides the scam cases that often occur in the crypto world, cryptocurrencies have helped many people globally, especially in developing countries on the african and asian continents .. the increasingly massive adoption of cryptocurrencies in recent years has succeeded in making more people rich and helping others in their community.. i think that if the development of the crypto market continues like this in the future and coupled with good regulation from the government, i believe that the impact of the crypto economy will be even more significant especially in developing countries
144  Other / Politics & Society / Re: France and Germany run EU as ‘oligarchy’- Polish Prime Minister on: September 19, 2022, 09:19:21 AM
well, because of the triumph of the french and german monarchies in the past that makes them still respected today... especially if we look at wealth and prosperity, germany and france are ranked 1st and 3rd richest countries in europe, so it's only natural if they can control the eu the way they want
145  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War in Ukraine - between NATO and Russia on: September 17, 2022, 04:12:00 AM

It is expected that, within days, the official assessment of the Russian Ministry of Defense will be publicly acknowledged that the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine has definitively escalated into a state of war between Russia and NATO, with unpredictable results for all parties to the conflict.

Something very bad might happen..prepare yourself for a dark year..because maybe in the coming year this world will split into several factions like last cold war and maybe famine will occur and inflation in many countries will cause chaos and many countries will collapse

146  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 16, 2022, 02:13:22 PM
as far as i have experienced it is very difficult to be productive by working from home .. there are reasons to procrastinate work which makes it very difficult for us to be productive .. not to mention the many distractions from home and the difficulty of concentrating due to the environment ... i totally agree that looking for the right environment will really help us to be focused and productive
147  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Corruption ok on: September 15, 2022, 04:40:43 PM
for correction, there are only 195 countries and 7,753 billion people on earth.. but if we talk about corruption maybe this has been human nature for a long time.. even though we can't tolerate this action but we can't prevent it.. even China itself with harsh punishments they are against corruptors, there are still corruptors in the country.. my point is that corruption cannot be tolerated but we also cannot prevent others from corrupting
148  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If Putin leaves power is that the end for our friend Edward Snowden? on: September 15, 2022, 03:46:56 PM
snowden might be deported if putin steps down and russian legislation changes the rules regarding migration.. it's possible that the countries you mentioned above are snowden's destinations.. but i think as long as russia is still having problems with america it's unlikely that snowden will be deported

150  Other / Politics & Society / Re: U.S. life expectancy drops sharply, the second consecutive decline on: September 14, 2022, 12:57:44 PM
Not every demographic group saw the same changes, the researchers found. Asian-Americans have the highest life expectancy of any group — 83.5 years — and only saw a 0.1 year decline from 2020. Meanwhile, Black Americans lost 0.7 years between 2020 to 2021.

i'm not too surprised when the life expectancy of the asian-american community is quite high,,, because i think most asian people do take care of their food and are not too "free" in their lifestyle.. but besides that i see that obesity is still the most serious problem on americans and especially covid in 2019 and then i think it also has a huge impact on public health
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Rebuttal: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset on: September 13, 2022, 01:38:50 PM
everyone is given the opportunity to be rich .. have a good mindset I think only one of several factors that make a person rich .. not all rich people have a mindset like "rich people", for example rich people whose wealth comes from their parents sometimes wasting money buying things that are not important or disrespectful to others who are below them.. or many other things that make them no better than poor people.. so I think many of your points are wrong
152  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: September 13, 2022, 01:12:10 PM
Money gives you power and peace of mind.
The independence of  having financial freedom is an amazing feeling - and the joy is endless. So one should spend time in learning and ways of earning.

but it's not always someone who has a lot of money gets "peace of mind" from his wealth.. in fact sometimes they get worried about it.. they have to think about his business and his assets out there and how his business is going forward and how to survive in the market .. but I agree financial freedom is very good,, because at that point money works for us, not the other way around
153  Economy / Economics / Re: The Impact of the Capitalist System on People's Economic Practices, Really? on: September 13, 2022, 12:47:11 PM
Where I live and other similar places the poor especially are smart enough to solve the problem with the way they charge customers. If you are rich or look rich they charge you higher, if you are poor they charge you less, then they use the extra amount they got from the rich to compensate for the lesser charges to the poor and still remain profitable.

to be honest I don't think it's fair.. imagine when you have to buy something but are charged more for it,, and this is experienced by most tourists in developing countries,, sometimes local people charge very high for their goods or services,, and in the end , most of these tourists do not want to return to the country because they are often cheated
154  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Elon Musk is going to jail [x5] on: September 13, 2022, 12:36:27 PM
there's nothing wrong with that.. because to be honest he's actually just advertising something and it's people's fault when he immediately invests without research first.. so I think it doesn't make sense when Elon Musk is imprisoned for reasons like you said
155  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Elon Musks Plan to make the world multiplanetary is just waste of time and money on: September 13, 2022, 10:35:31 AM
you know it all started with a dream.. especially if we refer to the kardashev scale, sooner or later human civilization will go that way,, we can't just focus on the earth alone,, human civilization must be able to explore and inhabit several planets to maintain its existence. you can say that elon musk's thinking is stupid and a waste of money, but that's also what people said when the internet first appeared, they said it was stupid and a waste of money, but look now everyone is using the internet

The Man has some extraordinary dreams and not only in his imagination but he is making them come true little by little with the help of his team. this guy has some real workers who are capable of making it real and he knows exactly how to take care of them. That's why we see Tesla became popular until today and they're not stopping till Elon Musk is no longer around. The mission will continue and we as some ordinary people are really grateful to witness their progress as well.
yes,, i totally agree with you.. to be honest after i read his biography my view of him changed a little.. what he dreamed of sounded made more sense to me.. and i thought for Elon Musk it just took time to be able to make his goals come true

157  Economy / Economics / Re: Queen Elizabeth II's death may pose financial constraints for King Charles III on: September 13, 2022, 05:20:45 AM
problems like this must have been foreseen long before the death of Queen Elisabeth, so I think it will certainly be no problem for King Charles III if he can follow the scenario that has been set.. hopefully the UK can get through this recession
158  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Did you sign a petition to kick Russia from UN? on: September 13, 2022, 04:52:14 AM
what about the US? what about myanmar? what about israel? is russia the only one committing war crimes? so when ukraine threatens russia's sovereignty by wanting to join nato it doesn't matter? ... every country has its own sins,, if we talk about humanity, the sins of the U.S are far more numerous .. especially removing russia from the un is not a solution,, it will only make the problem worse
159  Other / Politics & Society / Re: the Nigerian King who Chose Suicide Instead of Bowing to the Queen of England. on: September 12, 2022, 02:38:22 PM
that is the real king,, he shows the true nature of a king is not submissive to anyone.. he prefers to commit suicide than having to bow to the queen in order to protect his pride as king in his own land,, especially being a British colony is very embarrassing for him and suicide is the best option
160  Economy / Economics / Re: OPEC+ slashes oil production by 100K barrels per day as prices fall on: September 12, 2022, 07:03:41 AM
even though there are several OPEC members whose oil prices in their countries are currently experiencing an increase.. OPEC should be able to distribute their oil supply to countries that need this, so this will help reduce the impact of rising oil prices in those countries and help them reduce inflation
