Just not sure is this already real coin or just rendered?

This image was actually an unfinished image that was tweeted by mistake.  Gives you all a sneak peek but the finished one is much more polished.  We should have this coin ready to be announced on monday and production will also start on monday next week as well

Thank you

Could a template with design requirements be provided? This could be a visual structure to contain the design work.

Thank you

Newbie,

Ray

I'm sorry but we don't have a template

I know there are lots of factors involved when it comes to this, but can you give us a rough estimate of the sale price of the 0.1 and 0.5 BTC coins?
This will help when it comes to coming up with a suitable design for each coin.

Thanks

Please don't hold us to this but they will be in the region of;

0.10 BTC coin - 0.15 BTC + Shipping
0.50 BTC Coin - 0.60 BTC + Shipping

Thank you

Coinographic, great to see another design contest. I have question: Have you found a way for fair voting?

Thanks

I don't think we have found a way any fairer then the last contest we did but we will consider our options before the voting phase

Thank you for taking the time to read the details of our NEW competition!

ABOUT US

We are Coinographic.com. Our company has been formed for the sole purpose of creating high quality, exquisite, Physical coins of eminence.

We hosted many similar competitions over on Litecointalk / Reddit.  You can find more details about these competitions from the News Page on our website.

We recently hosted a competition here on Bitcointalk for a solid gold physical Bitcoin design - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=693176.0.  When this coin is produced we believe it will be the most exclusive and exquisite physical Bitcoin ever minted.

THE COMPETITION

It’s now time for us to create some physical bitcoins for the budget enthusiast…

This competition will offer 2 grand prizes and 8 runners up prizes in our search for 2 new physical Bitcoin designs.  As with our other coins, it’s extremely important to us that the design of our coins come right from within the heart of the communities that drive them.

We are looking for talented designers to create 2 new coin designs;
Bitcoin Tenth (0.10 BTC) – This coin will be a .999 silver plated brass coin
Bitcoin Half (0.50 BTC) – This coin will be a .999 gold plated brass coin

Both of these coins will carry the exact same dimensions;
Diameter: 38mm
Thickness: 3mm

Please note that a space should be left of the rear of the design for a hologram that is 34mm in diameter – leaving you 4mm around the reverse diameter for some flourishing.

We DO NOT require a hologram design nor do we require a box design for this competition; please design the coin front only.

THE DEADLINE FOR ALL SUBMISSIONS IS THE 31ST OCTOBER 2014, 22:00 FORUM TIME

HOW IT WILL WORK

After the submission period ends, all designs will be put to the community for voting in a separate thread. The bounty will be split as follows;

Silver Plated Brass Coin:
1st Place: Fully funded coin (0.10 BTC .999 silver plated brass), + 2 Bitcoins.
2nd-5th Place: Will each receive 0.25 BTC.

Gold Plated Brass Coin:
1st Place: Fully funded coin (0.50 BTC .999 gold plated brass), + 2 Bitcoins.
2nd-5th Place: Will each receive 0.25 BTC.

PROMOTION

As with all our competitions, we will be focusing our efforts in promoting this forum post over the coming weeks. This will be done through press releases and social media. Our aim is to help further raise awareness of digital currencies and attract talent to the Bitcointalk community. If you're already a user of Bitcointalk and know of some fantastic graphic designers, we encourage that you inform them of this thread.

GOOD LUCK!

We wish you all the best of luck with your submissions. With every competition, we look forward to the unique, exciting designs and innovative ideas that you, the community, bring. We are especially excited to see how we can apply these qualities to our new coins.

If you have any questions regarding this competition, please don't hesitate to contact us via our website or alternatively post your question directly in this thread. Thank you!

A Great Chance to own one of our Low Numbered limited edition 25 Litecoin and pay in BTC!

Welcome to our official auction for coin numbers 020 & 021 of our Limited Edition 25 Litecoin. For more information about the product please visit our website - http://www.coinographic.com/25ltc-limited-silverYou can also watch a video review of this coin here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YY-85wTq8dQ

This auction will run from now until 22:00 (forum time) on the 1st October.  Please be sure to read our Auction Procedure below before you place a bid.

To place a bid please use the following format;

#20 @ 0.80 BTC

The above would mean you have bid 0.80 BTC on coin number 20.

Auction Procedure

1) You are only permitted to bid on 1 coin per post; multiple bids in a single post will be ignored.  You can bid on as many coins as you like provided each bid for each coin is placed in a separate post.

2) The minimum bid for each coin is 0.80 BTC.

3) The Auction will close at the 22:00 (forum time) on the 1st October provided there are no new successful bids during the 5 minutes immediately preceding 22:00 on the 1st October.

4) Any successful bids within 5 minutes of the auction close time (21:55 – 22:00) will extend the auction by a further 5 minutes; the auction will continue to extend in 5 minute increments until there are no more bids within the 5 minute refresh period.  This rule applies on a per item basis.

For example;

A bid placed on coin number 20 at 21:58 will extend the auction for coin number 20 until 22:03.  If a further bid is placed before 22:03 it will extend by a further 5 minutes.  This will continue until there are no more bids within the 5 minute refresh period.  At that point the auction for the specified coin will end and the winner will be allocated.

This rule is on a per item basis.  If coin number 21 had a bid at 21:58 and no further bids were received before 22:03 the auction for that coin would end and the winner would be allocated.

5) If you are the Winning Bidder for an item at our auction, you will be obliged to complete the transaction and purchase that item within 72 hours of the auction close.

Processing and Technical Errors

In the event of errors in processing and/or site downtime or any other errors or delays caused to the site and/ or Service as a result of unforeseen technological difficulties associated with servers, data hosting or any other reason, we hereby reserve the right to:

a)   decide (prior to or after the original time set for conclusion of the online auction) to extend an online auction for a period of time (determined at our discretion); and/or,
b)   void that entire online auction transaction and open the auction again at the original start prices

We hope that the auction rules and terms laid out above will make it clear for everyone as to where they stand and go some way to preventing the problems that have risen as a result of our original Voided auction.

Thank you

It also should be noted (once again repeating what WTF said) that the different shades of gears will be difficult to accomplish if not impossible when stamping it onto a gold metal coin.

Only depth of imprint could possibly accomplish this and even that is on top of the gear issue wearing on the die itself.

We have taken a lot of advice on this matter and can confirm the fine detail of the cogs are possible to make on a coin. Granted it does increase production cost and time but we are not making this coin for the budget collector. No expense will be spared in ensuring the finished product is anything short of flawless.

We look forward to being able to publish the finished design and sending it into production towards the end of this month.

We have already made good progress and it's looking amazing!
